SPIRIT1 data rate at 169 MHz?

I'm looking at designing the SPIRIT1 into a new design.The datasheet suggests up to 500 kbps (over the air), is this true for all bands, i.e. will I see 500 kbps at 169 MHz? This would make it much more appealing.
