Interface and connectivity ICs

We are implementing the SPBTLE-1S as an off-the-shelf BLE solution, and we can't find any documentation about the default Mode, as apparently it can operate in 4 different interface Modes: "000", "001", "100", and "010", as per the data sheet.

Ideally, I need it to work in serial1 or Mode "001" on boot.  Is this indeed the firmware default? As an integrated BLE module I would expect it to work immediately, i.e. plug and play but in which mode? I assume I can change firmware and/or registe...
