In the documentation for the STEVAL-CTM009V1 demo board there is a table where the minimum DC bus voltage is listed as 36V, is this really the minimum voltage for the power stage? Why can I not run this board using a motor supply (DC Bus) of 12V ?

we are using Viper16LN to generate 12VDC and 5VDC from 230 VAC. 2 bulky capacitors 10uF 450V are used in i/p side of Viper as per AN2872 Application note. These high value capacitors height is more but we have height constraint max 10mm.
