Cooling of L6201PS Motor Driver

I want to use the L6201PS Motor Driver for a motor (24-48V) and the max. current is 4A. My Question is at which current value do I need a coolant? I found out in the datasheet that I only need some ground area for cooling, is that correct?

Doubts SPV1020, power optimizer

Hello, I am studying DC-DC converters, power optimizers for grid-connected PV.I saw some work with the SPV1020, but it seems to be discontinued. Do you know why? Is there a new version?I would also be grateful if I indicated any evaluation module, th...

Is there a way to default the STSpin840 motor driver to completely shut down the motor from turning upon power up?

I am currently using the X-NUCLEO-IHM15A1 Shield with the NUCLEO_F401RE MCU board to evaluate the use of the STSpin840 Motor driver using a single 12VDC motor. During the programming and debug process the motor will automatically start turning. Beca...

What do I connect pin 2 (VREFB) of the STSPIN840 to when I want to run the two outputs in parallel for higher current capability?

I am currently designing a PCB that will control a single motor using the STSPIN840 (X-NUCLEO-IHM15A1 Shield). The datasheet is pretty good about explaining how to connect things if you want to run the outputs in parallel mode but it neglets to tell...
