The data sheet for the SCR BTW67-1000 is not clear as to which pin is the gate. The diagram shows a pin to be parallel to the centre line of the mounting holes but on the device there is no pin as such. Is the smaller pin with a smaller hole the gate? A

We use the VNH3SP30 H-bridge motor driver for an application where we need to drive a motor with peak currents over 30A. The PCB layout are made following the recommendations from datasheet. But the H- bridge die when running the motor. Any help?
