How does the L6599 LLC control chip know when to soft switch? The resonant current input is filtered and not cycle by clcle.

As I understand it, to initiate soft switching, the MOSFET devices need to be switched when the resonant current passes through zero. How does the L6599 know when to do this?Cheers & thanks,DG
