Hello , i have the ic spv1040 , and I have one problem in my design : The integrated circuit supports from datasheet around 5.5V input , but my solar panel have around 6.5V (Maximum power 1W) in full sunny day .
How can i manage this ? Does the circuit sustain voltages in range of 5.5-6.5 ? I need an extra electronic circuit for ic to work properly ?

Hi all, We are new here. We are thinking of using ST L6203 motor drivers on our robots and are wondering if it is recommend to control motor speed by PWN on the enable pin or is better to PWN either IN1 or IN2 depending on direction.

Is this really an n-channel mosfet between IN_HV and L_HV in the SPV1050?
The datasheet shows an n-channel mosfet between the IN_HV and L_HV pins of the SPV1050, but it seems to make more sense if this was a p-channel mosfet. For one thing, I don't think it is guaranteed that the chip will have a high enough voltage source...
