I have an A2212 13T motor with B-G431B-ESC1 with 6-step trapezoidal algorithm.It is tracking the speed reference input.
But the problem is that it takes time to reach the desired speed.Suppose currently my motor speed is at 5000 rpm, but if I change the speed to 8000 rpm, it takes time to reach that speed.How to overcome that problem?

You must change the speed PI parameters and fine tune them to fit best for your application

In addition to what MotorRunner said, I would also recommend you to check your speed ramp value and increase it if need be.
