Hello @ariftukel ,

Our ACIM offers is currently limited to the following configuration: NUCLEO-G431RB and STEVAL-IHM023V3.

It can be run only through the example list as highlighted below.

We plan to add the full support of the ACIM algorithm for September 2024.

Hello Demir42,

I am sorry to inform you that full ACIM support has been postponed. Though it is still on our roadmap, I cannot give you any precise information on when it will be released.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Hi,

almost one year later, we have now MCSDK 6.4.1, but still no full support for ACIM. Are there any news on this issue?

Maybe someone from ST can explain to the community what are the real reasons for the delayed support for the so far well established ACIM technology and give some insights what we can expect.

Interestingly, in MCSDK 6.3.2, there are at least two examples with ACIM. But the examples disappeared again in MCSDK 6.4.x.

For me, it looks like we have to go to other silicon vendors to find proper solutions for our project. This would not be the way, we'd like to go, but...

Thanks and have a great day,
Bernhard L.

Hello @blechleitner,

The ACIM example will be available in MCDSK6.4.2, which is planned for release at the end of 2025.

Hi,

in the meantime, we have almost the end of "End of 2025" and we see still no indication, when the full support for ACIM motors will be available. When will MCSDK 6.4.2 be available and will it have the full ACIM support including Motor Profiler?

The only aternative, that keeps being mentioned is the 3-4 years old version 5.Y, but this is no longer offered for download. Is ther a possibility to get a download link?

Are there other possibilities in the STM32 eco system?

Thanks and best regard,

Bernhard L.

Hello @blechleitner,

Thank you for your feedback and your long-term interest in our products. Due to internal constraints, the MCSDK 6.4.2 release that includes the ACIM example is postponed to early 2026.

At this time Motor Workbench does not include a generic ACIM GUI or a dedicated “ACIM profile” in the 6.x series, ST’s AC induction motor support is only available through specific example projects (e.g., ACIM-NUCLEO-G431RB-IHM023V3 in the older X-CUBE-MCSDK 5.x, where an ACIM GUI tool lives under Utilities/PC_Software/ACIMGUI for tuning), and full ACIM support wasn’t carried forward into the 6.2.1 Workbench itself, so you won’t find a simple profile to drop into your project and have to start from those examples and adjust for your SELNI AHV 242 motor.
