Hello all, I have to develop an application with a 7 inch screen driver SSD1963,for the choice of cpu. I'm deciding between an STM32H7B3 and STM32F7xx, on the card I need RAM for screen storage, touchscreen management, communication with an FPGA in SPI and good fluidity when changing screens. Do you have any advice for choosing the CPU?Best regards, Sébastien

Hi Team, We purchased the LIS2DW12TR MEMS sensor and we found there is a QR code + T marking on the body of the IC. In the datasheet, there is no mention of body marking. Please confirm that this is the correct part we purchased. Thanks,Abishek

I am using the latest OpenSTLinx (5.1.0) Linux version: 6.1.28, and it can display normally when using the official root file system (st-image-eston-openstrinux-eston-stm32mp1. ext4), as shown in the figure below. However, when I use the root file system generated by buildroot myself, it cannot display normally, and there is no output on the screen when using "echo test_ceool>/dev/tty1". Some example screens running qt5 also have no output. Is there anything to pay attention to when building a root file system using buildroot?

Hi,I recently bought an STM32H747I-DISCO board and I'm trying to run the JPEG_MJPEG_VideoDecoding code example with an external display. The code works fine with the on-board display, but I'm struggling to get it working with an external display that uses a GC9A01 driver.I'm confident the issue isn't with the new display or its associated code because I've successfully tested it with static JPEG decoding (not MJPEG). I suspect the problem lies within the code example I'm trying to modify, specifically in the DMA2D section. It appears that the external DRAM is not written to during the final phase of the decoding by the DMA2D peripheral. As a result, when I run my lcd_draw() function, it shows garbage on the display. My modifications to the original code involved disabling all on-board LCD functions and replacing them with my own LCD functions. Can you help me understand why it doesn't work?It follows the part of code I modified and an image. Here is the main code I modified; in

I have a WBC2TX50 eval board along with a STEVAL-WLC98RX for testing Qi powe transfer. When I try to make the transfer, the WBC2TX50 board does not go past FSM_PRE_PING_STATE, either with the WLC98RX or with a phone, both of which work with a standard Qi transmitter. The circuit does respond to the coil (MeasQfactor is 156 free, around 76 with the WLC98RX coil and less than 20 with foreign object). Why is the TX50 board not going past this stage? Do I need to configure something past the default settings for it? Please advise, thank you in advance.

I'm using an STM32 H7 and CubeIDE, As the title states, When placing a breakpoint at HAL_UART_TxHalfCpltCallback, it is triggered. But when placing it at HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback it is never triggered, it used to work, but I don't know where it went wrong. Is there a setting for this in Cube IDE? I don't use the halfcplt function, but it was now just added to search for the error.I'm using normal DMA at highest priority. (I'm running multiple uart's and SAI with DMA) void sendGPSdata(){ if(1){//gps_out[gpsoutpointer-gps_data_size+15] =='A'){ uart_tx_state = 1; set_header(gps_data_size,gps); set_payload(gps); set_footer(gps); HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart4,&uart_out[0],GPS_packet_size); } gps_data_behind--; } void HAL_UART_TxHalfCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *uart){ if(uart == &huart4){ //4g } } void HAL_UART_TxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *uart){ if(uart == &huart4){ //4g uart_tx_state = 0; if(audio_to_uart_data_behi

Hi guys.I am using the guide below for starting communication between two MCU. Getting started with I2C - stm32mcuThe code is simple, but it did not work.Master code:I checked the SDA and SCL with different transferred data Txdata and Txdata2.But two consecutive pulses series are totally same. There is any idea about this problem.Thank you.Of course, I also cannot receive data at slave MCU too.

Hi,I write my own 'void HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi)', intend to override the default weak one. But when debug, my version is never called, it always steps into the 'weak' one. I'm new to CubeIDE, the version is 1.16.0, any suggestions? Thanks.

There is a note for UFQFPN32 package, that says "There is an exposed die pad on the underside of the UFQFPN package.", But there is no similar statement for UFQFPN28 package for the same device. Is it intentional or missed or if there is any plan to add if it is intentional?

Hi,      My one microsecond timer configured by CubeMx running on NUCLEO-C031C6 (STM32C031C6) is 3 times slower than it should be. The code is attached below.      the call "delay_us(60000000);" takes 3+ minutes to complete - it should be done in one minute.      The LL timer (TIM3) init and interrupt code is generated by CubeMx..The system clock is 48 MHZ in CubeMx.       How to fix it?       Thanks,      Rong   void MX_TIM3_Init(void) { LL_TIM_InitTypeDef TIM_InitStruct = {0}; /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_TIM3); /* TIM3 interrupt Init */ NVIC_SetPriority(TIM3_IRQn, 0); NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM3_IRQn); /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM3_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END TIM3_Init 1 */ TIM_InitStruct.Prescaler = 0; TIM_InitStruct.CounterMode = LL_TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; TIM_InitStruct.Autoreload = 48; TIM_InitStruct.ClockDi

I'm trying to use DMA with the USART2 receiver in half-duplex mode but the DMA indicates a device error as soon as it begins even though no error flag is set in the ISR register either before the DMA starts or after the DMA ends, additionally the same code works fine when reading the RDR register in a loop. After the DMA fails the data that it should have received can still be read from the USART. I'm also using the same DMA for USART3 in an identical way aside from it not being used in half-duplex mode. So does anyone know what could be causing this? Here is my code and the output: TMC_UART_Internal.CR1.TE := False; for Byte of Input loop Transmit (TMC_UART, UInt9 (Byte)); Server_Communication.Transmit_String_Line ("In TX FIFO: " & Byte'Image); end loop; Server_Communication.Transmit_String ("ISR: "); Server_Communication.Transmit_String_Line (TMC_UART_Internal.ISR'Image); Start_Transfer (This => TMC_UART_DMA_RX_Controller, Stream => TMC_UART_DMA_RX_Stream, Source

Will my gpio pin gets effected if I give a voltage of 4v because my board Is not working it is getting heated once i connect the supply through usb.

HI.I'm looking for this diode so I can change it.I need the order number to buy it.

I configured adc+dma of h755 on cubemx and generated code for cube ide.I compile (have not changed the code since it was created) and it's normal. However, when debugging, it runs to this line and cannot exit.H755 board is NUH755ZIQ$AT3, while I debug on NUH755ZIQ$AT1 and it's normal. Thanks for any solution

I have a STM32F755ZI nucleo board. I am trying to load and run simple project from the board selector. So creating new stm32 project and selecting the board. Then i try to load the project and while it seems to load the stlink led blinks 3 colours and the load in the console goes up to finish the program goes to some error handler. In the debug i see the next info Type "apropos word" to search for commands related to "word". Type "apropos word" to search for commands related to "word". set *(unsigned int *)0xe00430a0&=~0x1 set *(int *)0xE000EDFC=*(int *)0xE000EDFC|0x7F0 set *(unsigned int *)0x5c001004|=0x3f Temporary breakpoint 1, main () at ../Core/Src/main.c:107 107 timeout = 0xFFFF; Program received signal SIGINT, Interrupt. 0x08000712 in main () at ../Core/Src/main.c:108 108 while((__HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG(RCC_FLAG_D2CKRDY) != RESET) && (timeout-- > 0)); Program received signal SIGINT, Interrupt. 0x08000720 in main () at ../Core/Src/main.c:108 108

Background, using STM32F412CG:- we have an external 20-bit ADC triggered by an external conversion strobe- the ADC produces a signal when conversion is complete- external ADC-complete signal must trigger DMA to read the ADC results (20-bit over SPI)- DMA-completion of SPI xfer must trigger a transfer-complete interrupt (enter ISR after data received&ready)I’ve done this with several other vendors’ parts but I’m a newbie to the STM family, so a few questions:I read application note AN4031 on DMA controller use, but I don’t see from this note how DMA can be triggered from an external pin? Any recommended example? How does the 16-bit SPI do a 20-bit transfer using DMA, and trigger an interrupt on completion? (SPI transfers >16-bit are very common so this must be possible)? Recommended examples? Thanks in advance for any pointers,Best Regards, Dave

I am designing an Outdoor Radio product with STM32WLE5CBU6. my question is whether the Internal RC Oscillator is enough for my radio applications ? or do I need to add External TCXO in my circuit considering the outdoor temperature environment? for my product cost-cutting. please suggest.

Hi,In various ST's example .ioc files, the timer PSC, period, etc, are set with text but not numbers. This will define the numbers to macros in the code. But I can't input text in the CubeIDE. So, is this feature only supported in the standalone version of CubeMX?Thanks.

Hi,I'm a newer for the CubeIDE. In the standalong CubeMX, I can change the default packages location to another location. But I can't find such an entry in CubeIDE.Thanks.

I have a problem with receiving long packets (above 255 bytes) in radio FSK. Document 'an5687-longpacket-operation-with-stm32cubewl-stmicroelectronics.pdf'  describes how to send and receive long packets (greater than 255 bytes). I've implemented example project 'SubGHz_Phy_Per'. I receive only errors 'OnRxError', in attachment files.I use MCU STM32WLE5CCU6 (revison Y). Is STM32WLE5CCU6 can support handling long frames (> 255 bytes)? Document wrote on page 13 "In subghz_phy_app.c, define APP_LONG_PACKET to 1 and make sure the die version is revision Y." In example project is wrote "Tx Long packet enable(payload can be greater than 255bytes. Available on stm32wl revision Y)". My MCU STM32WLE5CCU6 is from series STM32WLE.

I have setup a base board of ADE9000 With only Basic Components connected, Like Bypass capacitors, Reset pullups and connected SPI Directly with the STM32F401 Blackpill board , Everything starts-up perfectly. So I want to check the communication between the MCU and AE9000, So To read the Register value at 0x4FE (Version of ADE9000) I am sending 0x4FE8 (8 Is added so as to set bit 3 High For read Command) But I am only getting 0xfffc and 0xfff8 in random patterns.SPI for STM32F4 is set to 16 bits with Mode 0 Configuration and I am checking the data using Logic Analyzer which check out that the data sent from the MCU is 0x4FE8 but receiving is 0xfffc and/or 0xfff8

Hi, Could anyone help with this problem? Its driving me mad!!! I have designed an ethernet interface  for an F746-100 MCU I have changed pins to avoid using Port G and I have used the  circuit below. The RJ45 connector is a standard RB1-125BAG1A and the ethernet chip is a LAN8742A Can anyone tell me if there are any mistakes in this? I cannot get any connection at all - F746-100 will not ping. Green LED ON and Yellow LED flashes continuously. I have an STM32F746 - 144 Nucleo with the same software (apart from the two pins that are changed) -works fine. The 25MHz xtal works OK (same signal on both boards) and the LAN8742_STATUS_OK returns 0  on both boards when I debug. There appears to be no errors in the setup LAN8742.c or the ethernetif.c when I debug. This code works OK on the NUCLEO board and I can display a small webpage. Both sets of code use only ETH and LWIP, fixed IP, on a standard Cubeide setup. I assume that the only difference is the two GPIO allocations (PG1

Hi, i'm using my Nucleo STM32F401RE as a HID Device for a MIDI Keyboard projectI have configured the following:Connectivity --> USB_OTG_FS --> Device OnlyMiddleware --> USB_DEVICE --> Human Interface DeviceI followed a video tutorial to configure the USB MIDI Descriptor in the file usbd_hid.c and it worked, my notebook detects my Nucleo as a USB Device and I have made a code to send only MIDI Note On and Note Off messages up to now, when pushing the Nucleo switch. The problem comes when trying to use a potentiometer to send Control Change messages. I tried to use the ADC with interrupt and with DMA but when i use it, my notebook fails to detect the board as a USBIf i comment the line that initializes the ADC (HAL_ADC_Start_DMA) it works, but when uncommenting it again the ADC works fine but the HID doesn'tI'm not sure if i have an issue with the configuration of the ADC or USB or if maybe they are incompatibleThe code in the main.c is the following:    /*
