 I am using STM32WB55 with 32 MHz HSE and am trying to find out which input clock frequency I should use for TIM16. Unfortunately it is not clear in the diagram from the datasheet. Where can I get this information? Greetings,Andreas

I am trying to get the accuracy of the model by validating of desktop. But when I provide npz files for Validation inputs and outputs it gives me an error as shown in the screenshot. When I give only one1 npz file validates successfully but cannot give accuracy because of no output data.

Hello,I am developing on the STM32H7A3ZGT and I am trying to use both OCTOSPI instances that are on the microcontrollerI am able to use both of them separately (only initialising one instance) but when I do both the initialization only the last initialised instance is working fine.I get no errors codes from any function on the first octospi instance that is initialised, but the data that I receive are all "0".If I switch the init order it switches the instance that is working.I am working on cube MX V6.6.1 but I tried generating a new project on the latest version and I get the same resultTank you for your help,Best regardsAugustin

Hello All,I needed a very fast vector addition routine for the H7 so I wrote it in assembly. However, I discovered that very small changes in the code caused huge differences in execution time. Both of the following functions add a 16-bit vector to a 32-bit sum vector. The vectors are 32-bit word aligned. The sum vector is in DTCM and the other is in external SRAM. The first routine adds sequential data to the sum and the second adds every fourth point of a 4x larger vector to the same size sum. So both process the same amount of data, but the first is 3 times faster. Does anyone know what would cause such a large difference in execution time for these nearly identical functions?ThanksDan 3X faster one loop:LDRH r3, [r0, r2, lsl #1] // load 16bit raw data in r3LDR r4, [r1, r2, lsl #2] // load 32bit sum in r4ADD r4,r3 // add raw data to sumSTR r4, [r1, r2, lsl #2] // store new sumSUBS r2,#1 // next data pointBPL loop Slower one loop:LDRH r3, [r0, r2, lsl #1] // load

I imported the project to CUBEIDE and after building , it is showing below errors.arm-none-eabi-gcc: error: unrecognized command-line option '--no-warn-execstack'arm-none-eabi-gcc: error: unrecognized command-line option '--no-warn-rwx-segments'make: *** [makefile:72: railcard.elf] Error 1 Please suggest the solution. I have added --no-warn-rwx-segments' & --no-warn-execstack in C/C++ Build-> MCU GCC Linker -> Miscellaneous   but still seeing error

Hello,I want to enter the decimal part of a number in to filed "Float" (Advanced Features -> FSM -> Converter).The Decimal Separator in the Regional Settings of the system I use (KDE/plasma) is a comma.It seems that the "Float" field only accepts a decimal point as decimal separator, but I cannot enter the decimal point character in this field: after pressing "." key nothing appears in this field.I can enter the "," character as decimal separator, but after conversion I get the wrong result in the field "Float16".Am I missing a some option in MEMS-studio settings to solve this problem?Additional info: if the "Float" field already contains a decimal point, I can enter "." character, but if the field was initially empty, then I can't enter "." character.P.S. I remember I had the same problem on Windows and in the previous version of MEMS-studio. MEMS-studio v1.3.0My system: Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6

Hi, Does STM32WBA55 MCU support Bluetooth classic BR/EDR along with BLE Audio? @STTwo-32 @TDK  @KDJEM.1 @IssamosThank you!

Hello, I am using STM32H745 to setup and communicate with LIS2DW12 accelerometer via SPI 4-wires. I am trying to setup the accelerometer and I started with reading the WHO_AM_I register. It's default value is (43h) and I changed the value of the first bit to '1' so that my STM32 can read the value. The SPI communication is setup as follows: With the read and write fucntions set like this:     HAL_StatusTypeDef spi_write_LIS2DS12(uint8_t regAddr, uint8_t *pData) { HAL_StatusTypeDef ret; uint8_t address = regAddr & 0x7F; uint8_t sendData[2] = {address, *pData}; //HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_4, 0); ret = HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi2, sendData, 2, 20); //HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_4, 1); return ret; } HAL_StatusTypeDef spi_read_LIS2DS12(uint8_t regAddr, uint8_t *pData) { HAL_StatusTypeDef ret = 0x01; uint8_t address = regAddr | 0x80; // Set the Read/Write bit to 1 for read operation uint8_t sendData[2]= {address,0}; ui

Hi I recently purchased DK board and connected to the phone to check the dumped code.But, I couldn't listen to any music nor call. I realised only few selected mobiles with BLE Audio can be used to test the board.Any solution to this? @STTwo-32 @KDJEM.1 Thanks in advance!

Hello,I've added the OEM2KEY AND OEM1KEY to the RDP Level 2 protection in order to perform the same steps as in the 'Getting started with STM32CubeU5 TFM application' for enabling Production Mode.Following the steps and executing the HARDENING.SH file, I'm no longer able to modify the board or revert to RDP level 0. It's showing me the following error: Error: ST-LINK error (DEV_TARGET_NOT_HALTED)If I enter Hotplug mode, it shows me the following: Error: Uploading Option Bytes bank: 0 failed Error: Initializing the Option Bytes failed. Any help?

Hello there. I've been developing a project with STM32WLE5CCU with LoraWAN included. I've used ST's utilities like LMhandler, UTILITIES_timer, and SEQUENCER to handle tasks and different functions.I've encountered a strange behavior though. When I change the optimization level to O3 there are times where code asserts to an error and the error handler is called to reset the device.I've done some search regarding the state of the registers in the MCU and I've found out that BFSR.IMPRECISERR register was set.    .... In the guide to using the VL53L5CX multizone Time-of-Flight ranging sensor it's described that for periodic temperature compensation the function vl53l5cx_set_VHV_repeat_count has to be called.I can't find the function in any header or c file.

Hi,[EDIT 3] there is no need to configure GPIOC pin 0,1 and 2 as secure to be used by ADC1 since all GPIO are secure by default when TZEN = 1. cf. RM0456 § 3.5.6 "activating TrustZone security". This is why you do not find an of this in generated code by MX. [EDIT 2] : I fixed few typo, and also fixed my explanation : I made few confusion when reporting my notes ==> both DMA channel 10 source and destination are secure, with source == ADC1 channel 10 and destination (via linked list) is a buffer in SRAM3.A bit of context: I have to start ADC conversion on 3 channels, with ADC1, and it must be done in Secure world.To do things step by step I first started with no TrustZone activated, and from STM32CubeMX I successfully generated code to use ADC1 on 3 channels, with DMA in linked list mode, without Trust Zone activated.Note: the code generated by MX does not include anything to "link" the ADC1 with the DMA linked list, so I had to take the code from the example available "ADC DMA

Iam using STM32WBA55 and i tried to configure STM32_WPAN BLE application but the generated code has a file not found error.ask me for any further details regarding this problem because i don't know what to put in my post that might help in this problem.

Hi,Currently, my development boards are X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 with STM32G0B1-Nucleo.May I know how the X-CUBE-NFC6 library demonstrates Bluetooth pairing on the X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 expansion board?And next I would like to modify the Bluetooth device address, local name of Bluetooth record when ST25R3916B in Card Emulation mode.Could ST give me some advice? Thank you.Best regards,Sam Cheng

Hello together, I'm using a STM32F769-DISCO Board with STM Cube IDE.LWIP is activated.No DHCP, static IP.Most of the LWIP is default only disabled the DHCP and TCP parts.First, sending UDP packages is working fine. My Issue is:that the receiving udp callback function delivers a udp data length of 22 (p->len = 22). But I only receive 2 Bytes of data in the Rx-buffer (p->payload). The 2 Bytes are filled correctly with data. The rest of the data array is 0.   Does someone have any advise regarding LWIP UDP receiving?I tried allocating (pbuf_alloc) the buffer and using pbuf_take() , but I did not see any difference. I think there could be some issues with the buffer address, but I'm honestly at a loss here... Here the udp init and the receive callback function in "lwip.c":   uint8_t testbuffer[100] = { 0 }; err_t udpServer_init(void) { err_t err = ERR_OK; ip4_addr_t destIPAddr; ip4_addr_t myIPAddr; upcb = udp_new(); IP4_AD

Greetings. Please help me identify this component. Thank you Another variation?

Instead of completing development of STM32CUBE Programmer - every one now need to follow some manual steps with unknown versions of firmware with many undefined startup addresses and even when all steps are completed with success - development board still not programmed properly - examples are not working!!!

I am asking a question of application rather than capabilities of MCU itself.I hope to build an handheld board that is powered by batteries and using this board update other board's settings, especially date/time configurations.This requires a parser and i hope i can find some JSON for MCU that will work fine. However, i hope to use this method with pogopins instead of dupont or similar to even more simplify this process.It is obvious that as addition to TX RX couple, GND pin should must be included for different power sources. I can start communication with a button on handheld board to simplify process. But during pin connection, it is obvious that some noise will be generated that ruins data transfer.I am not very familiar with UART itself, i just used it on modules. Is there any adequate method for this kind of updating progress? How can i ensure a stable communication randomly just whenever i touch pins? Or what should i use additionally to these RX TX GND pins?Software is another

Hi all,I am currently designing a board based around the STM32F303xC MCU, and had a few questions regarding information on the datasheet.- For boot modes, the data sheet states the following:"At startup, Boot0 pin and Boot1 option bit are used to select one of three boot options:• Boot from user Flash• Boot from system memory• Boot from embedded SRAMThe boot loader is located in the system memory. It is used to reprogram the Flash memoryby using USART1 (PA9/PA10), USART2 (PD5/PD6) or USB (PA11/PA12) through DFU(device firmware upgrade)."How would the BOOT1 option bit be set? I do not see a pin or specific firmware instructions for where BOOT1's option bit is located. I plan to boot from Flash memory by sending data through USB.- In the datasheet, Table 21 states there can be a maximum V_DD-V_DDA voltage difference of 0.4 V. All my analog inputs can output a maximum of 2.0 V, and ideally I would like to power the MCU with 3.3 V. Would there be issues with these voltages, as it exceeds t

Hi,when you have multiple projects loaded in the IDE (pane on the left hand side) and also multiple files opened (each from different projects) how do you know which one belongs to which project? AND... how can you tell which project is the active one being compiled? In pretty much every other IDE environment when you open a file it automatically highlights it name in the tree on the left side. But not on the CubeIDE... For example if you have two main.c open you have no idea which one belongs to which project currently loaded in the IDE... Thank you :)

The power supply part of the board I made myself did not use "stpmic", but used a discrete power supply. I encountered an issue when porting OpenSTLinux (5.1.0). After modifying the power supply in the "u boot" device tree and using "STM32CubeProgrammer" to download, it kept downloading repeatedly, as shown in the following figure:I have modified these positions: under "i2c4", the "pmic: stpmic@33 All nodes have been deleted, and the following content has been added to the root node:vddcore: regulator-vddcore {        compatible = "regulator-fixed";regulator-name = "vddcore";regulator-min-microvolt = <1200000>;regulator-max-microvolt = <1350000>;regulator-always-on;        regulator-boot-on;};     v3v3: regulator-3p3v {        compatible = "regulator-fixed";        regulator-name = "v3v3";        regulator-min-microvolt = <3300000>;

Hello,I want to write my own ID in the STM32WL55 memory. For this I use STM32Cubeprogram and the ST-LINK V3.My question is: is there a small flash area where I can write this identifier and which does not interfere with the code and data so as not to be deleted.I looked at the memory organization in the documentation but it's a bit confusing.Thanks.

Hello ! I've been working on with LIS3MDL a magnetometer from STM, but there was one problem because reading X,Y,Z it was showing good values but sometimes instead of value it just spitted 0, for example X = 0.14, Y = 0.30, Z = 0.14 and sometimes it just randomly zeroed random axis like X = 0.14, Y = 0.0, Z = 0.14The culprit was here :   uint8_t data[6]; HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c1, LIS3MDLTR_Address, LIS3MDLTR_X_Y_Z_Axis, 1, data, 6, HAL_MAX_DELAY); The problem  firstly I used int8_t data[6] instead of uint8_t data[6], I don't know why HAL had problem with it ?? Binnary it should be the same data but somehow it didn't work. Someone know maybe why ?  *x = ((int16_t)data[1] << 8 | (int16_t)data[0]); *y = ((int16_t)data[3] << 8 | (int16_t)data[2]); *z = ((int16_t)data[5] << 8 | (int16_t)data[4]); Here I still changed it into int16_t so the binary data is not interpreted differently decimally, but in HAL_I2C it should make any differ

In the code I have written here, I am trying to send data from UART4 within the main function and simultaneously receive data through interrupts if data arrives. However, the data transmission part works for a very short time and then stops, and the data received from the interrupt is corrupted. I am providing the code from the main.c and stm32f4xx_it.c files below. Can you help me?main.c: #include "main.h" #include "kibar_nextion.h" #include <string.h> uint8_t main_buffer[5]; uint8_t main_buffer1[8]; int main(void) { __HAL_UART_ENABLE_IT(&huart4, UART_IT_RXNE); uint8_t last_data[] = {255, 255, 255}; while (1) { for(int i = 0; i < 360; i++) { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart4, (uint8_t*)"main_screen.z0.val=", 19, 100); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart4, (uint8_t*)kibar_return_array_char_from_32_t(i), kibar_size_integer_data_32_t(i), 100); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart4, last_data, 3, 100); } } } stm32f4xx_it.c: #include "main.h" #include "stm32f4xx_it.h"
