STM32 MCUs Motor control

Moving the motor in small steps how to avoid phantom steps, I notice for example the the stepper moves 50 times 10 steps, moves 15 to 25 more steps, could you describe how to stop when a motion is completed.ATT  

We are designing an independent current monitoring circuit for a motor driven by the powerSTEP01. We are using a 0.1 ohm low-side sense resistor (RSENSE).When probing the voltage across this sense resistor with an oscilloscope, we are observing a distinct PWM waveform where the negative voltage pulses have almost the exact same amplitude as the positive voltage pulses (flipping symmetrically below ground, e.g., +0.5V and -0.5V. )Screenshot: RSENSE voltage generated across 0.1ohm when motor is rotating in current mode  Before I modify my external analog front-end (currently using an RC filter, a clamp diode and an op-amp) to handle these negative swings, I want to double-check my findings.Is this symmetrical negative voltage pulse an expected physical phenomenon of the powerSTEP01 H-bridge operating in Fast Decay / synchronous rectification mode? I purchased the EVLGANSPIN2-3PH evaluation module. I added a definition for this module in the MCSDK. I connected a BLDC motor from a well-known drill operating at a nominal voltage of 230VAC to it. I measured the resistance and inductance of the windings, as well as the number of poles. The code was generated in MCSDK v. 6.4.2 in FOC mode with the profiling option – it can only be generated in STO-PLL mode, so the HALL sensors are not used. The PWM frequency is 10 kHz, and the overcurrent control option is enabled.I started all tests at 70 VDC with a limit of 800 mA.After starting the profiler, the motor hums quietly for a moment, and profiling freezes at about 30%. I can't get the profiler to work properly.I started the MotorPilot, and the motor only squealed. Current consumption is about 250 mA.Redesigning the project to STO-Cordic mode allowed the motor to start in MotorPilot. It starts slowly but smoothly and gains speed. The current draw also increases until it reaches the power

MCU: STM32G4Motor: DFA90L048017-ADC bus: 24 VPole pairs: 11Hall sensors: 120°Hall pins:    H1 = PB6    H2 = PB7    H3 = PB8Motor rated speed: 1900 RPMHall electrical phase shift currently: 120° Problem:- Motor starts and runs.- At approximately 500 RPM command, actual speed oscillates.- Motor can accelerate toward ~1000 RPM.- Motor then briefly rotates in the opposite direction.- Motor Pilot also shows approximately the same behavior.- Hall interrupts are continuously generated.- All six Hall states 1..6 are observed.

We want to activate a 3-phases motor. We wchosse the STM32G474BCx6 microchip, we created a custom board but cant connected it to any motor, we get the message “No algorithm is available for this hardware configuration”, how can we solve it ?attached the “custom board “ we created. Thanks

While driving PMSM motor using STM32303E-Eval with IPM20B driver card, Motor is jerking and spinning abnormaly. I am using sensored feedback method such as encoder having 1024 ppr.

Hello everyone,I am working on a project where I need to control a BLDC motor with integrated hall sensors.I saw this feature on RM0440 Document ‘29.3.28 Timer input XOR function’I decided to use the TIM2 as the ‘Interfacing Timer’ and TIM1 as the PWM generating/motor driving timer.I can read the time period between the hall sensor changes via TIM2->CCR1 register but I can not get the COM event with TIM1. My goal is to use an AS5048A absolute magnetic encoder for sensored FOC and position control.MCSDK already runs the motor correctly in sensorless mode, and I can reliably read the AS5048A. However, integrating it into MCSDK has been much less straightforward than expected.Current implementationI use TIM1 CH4 to trigger TIM2. TIM2 starts the AS5048A SPI transaction approximately 3 µs after the trigger. The target application operates at 24V DC with a continuous output power of 350W (approximately 15A RMS continuous current). The hardware is designed to support evaluation of both sensorless FOC algorithms and sensored Hall effect positioning. Could you please verify the following parameters in my attached KiCad schematic:1. We’ve been using the Nucleo-F446RE + IHM09M2 + IPMM15B hardware setup. We’ve tested voltages of 50V, 80V, and 100V using transformer modules connected to a GPS-2303 DC power supply. We’ve also tried 167V with a different power supply.However, only the 50V setup worked properly with the Motor Profiler. The only issue with 50V is that the motor could not reach a sufficient speed to “start profiler” and got stuck at 28%. The other voltages failed to even complete “Offset Detection”, getting stuck at 7% while displaying a “Driver Protection” error simultaneously. What factors could be causing this issue?

When using the STSPIN32G4 chip, the ADC uses an external resistor for non-inverting amplification to determine the value, but in reality, the ADC-OUT output is always at the maximum of its internal LDO. Changing the external feedback resistor can't change the output value of its op-amp. What could be the reason for this? Also, the voltage difference on the non-inverting side of the three op-amps is inconsistent: two are 0.27, and one is 0.35. I’d like to ask the experts for advice.

mcsdk no option to use stm32f103RCT6 to control TWO BLDC motors with hass sensors with pot to control speed what to do any other old version

 MCSDK 6.4.2 has FreeRTOS support for G4 family.I noticed that FOC code generation is only for bare metal not FreeRTOS on the H5 seriesAre there any plans for upgrading MCSDK to support FreeRTOS for H5?  If there are plans, do you have a timeframe.Thank you!

what i suppose Is this: the PIN BST attached to the inductor keep switching to a value higher and lower than VDH, when he goes lower than VDH then the diode Is off, and nothing Is supplying energy to VDH pin, thats why that capacitor Is there, It acts a reservoir, i came to this explaination by imaging the circuit without that cap. Is this assumption right? Thanks all for the help
