Hi,I am using LSM6DSV320X for my project. Initially to save power I have Low G accelerometer with 15Hz ODR and 16G with fifo enabled. Once an activity is detected i want to switch on High G as well with 4000 Hz (with High Accuracy mode) and use both high G and Low G accelerometer for data collection. Is this possible if I dont use FSM or ASC and will High Accuracy then work ?. or can this only be achieved with FSM ? I look forward to your reply.

Hello,I have a couple of devices using LPS28DFW pressure sensors.The sensors are configured as follows:INTERRUPT_CFG = 0x00, THS_P_L = 0x00, THS_P_H = 0x00, IF_CTRL = 0x00, CTRL_REG1 = 0x3C, CTRL_REG2 = 0x00, CTRL_REG3 = 0x01, CTRL_REG4 = 0x02, FIFO_CTRL = 0x02, FIFO_WTM = 0x64,All other registers are left at their default values.Usually they work fine, filling the FIFO with new data and generating an interrupt every second. However, I occasionally encounter an issue where the sensors appear to stop filling the FIFO for a period of time. The duration of this stall is not consistent, it can range from a few seconds to a permanent lock-up. During this locked state, I can still successfully read the temperature, and reading back the configuration registers confirms they are set as expected. After a power cycle and reconfiguration, everything returns to working correctly.Have you ever experienced this issue? Do you have any idea what might be causing it?

Hello, we are planning to use LSM6DSO in Mode 1, but PCB is fixed and pins 10 and 11 are connected to GND. This conflicts with LSM6DSO datasheet but I was wondering if it is still OK to connect them to GND. Can you clarify on this?

Hi,Hardware: STEVAL-MKI109D (STM32H563ZI), ISM330DHCX on DIL24I'm developing custom bare-metal firmware for the STEVAL-MKI109D motherboard (STM32H563ZI), flashed via DFU, to communicate directly with an ISM330DHCX sensor on a STEVAL-MKI207V1 DIL24 adapter — not going through MEMS Studio.Problem:I can't get a valid SPI response from the sensor — WHO_AM_I consistently reads back as 0xFF. I've verified the following are correct against the ISM330DHCX datasheet:GPIO alternate function mapping (AF5, SPI1) confirmed via register dump SPI1 configuration matches Mode 3 (CPOL=1, CPHA=1), master mode, 8-bit frames, software NSS Read command format (0x80 | reg + dummy byte) and HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive sequence match the datasheet's read protocolThe sensor and DIL24 socket are confirmed good — sending the stock firmware's power-on/voltage-set commands over the same UART interface correctly reads WHO_AM_I = 0x6B.I'm currently using PA4/PA5/PA6/PA7 for SPI1 CS/SCK/MISO/MOSI in my firmware, but I sus

Hello Team,We are using SensorTile.box Pro, and the board has been successfully flashed with the DataLogExtended.bin firmware.However, we are unable to establish a BLE connection with the board, even after flashing the DataLogExtended firmware. The top line is S4 then there is a QR Code and then 513. I think it to be one of the iNEMO Inertial Modules but I don’t know how to go about checking which one. I don’t know the dimension of the package  

Hi community, I have been having trouble with finding the correct steval-mki217v1 motionFX 9axis fusion Sensor orientation: NED, ENU, SEU, NWU. the only resouce I had was from IKS01A1 Nucleo eXpansion board. I had tried several combination and had the best combination shown below.Please feel free to correct what I got wrong here.Could someonr confirm this sensor orientaion I use on the right is correct as well as how can I determine the north east west south from this shield? 

On a garage floor a small limestone block 150 mm by 50 mm by 20 mm on a fixed roller support XXXXXXXXXXXXXAF              RSensor at A, the F and R are small wooden blocks and a roller.  I pick up the electrical signal to 420 Hz.  The limestone is vibrating at 460 Hz quite nicely as it is a heavily degraded block so the Sensor TileBox Pro is quite good, but should I normally see electrical signals this high, the CX1 stops at about 180.  

Hello All,We are adding the IIS2MDCTR magnetic sensor in our existing product.The concern we share is that this is a magnetic sensor and will it affect the MRI machine or its results when installed in the MRI Room.Our product is an Emergency Exit Light a manadatory product but as of now without the magnetic sensor. Please share your feedback. 

I am trying to flash the HSDatalog.bin (from Datalog1) firmware onto the STEVAL_STWINKT1B board using the STLINK_V3MINIE and the STM32 Cube Programmer, following the user manual provided. When I connect to the STLINK on the Cube Programmer, the led flashes red and green. After opening the HSDatalog file and clicking download, the USB light on the STEVAL_STWINKT1B turns off, and the STLINK continues to flash green and red, pausing on green for a second, before continuing to flash. A popup comes up in the Cube Programmer that the file download is complete. I then disconnected the STLINK from my laptop and the development board, leaving just the development board connected. The power LED is on and the USB LED flashes, but it does not come up as a USB device. When I try to open the USB_DataLog_Run file, it says that there is no device detected. I am wanting to use direct data transfer via the USB for conditional monitoring, but cannot figure out why it is not showing up as a USB device. I am trying to use the STWIN.box - SensorTile Wireless Industrial Node Development Kit to detect vibration on X-ray tubes. I know the sensor has screw holes but the tube doesn’t have screw holes. I was wondering what other options I had for mounting?

In the stm32 cubeMX Board selector menu I cant find board MKI-109D.How can I develop the board firmware? 

I am using ADXL203  analog inclinometer. I would to compensate the offset variation with temperature.As the ADXL203 itself does not have an internal temperature sensor, could you give me any advice on how to measure the temperature?Thank anybody for the attention.GF 

Sensor is LSM6DSV16X.When I use this .h file in my MCU driver. There is no wrist tilt, but “Wrist tilt detection with accelerometer and gyroscope” can.I don’t know why?

So, I was showing some friends in England how to use the Sensor TileBox Pro to measure a building, using the modified CLI_EXAMPLE program.  So starting analysis, the X axis now representing gravity vector in the table, I knew I had the box sitting on its side in a slot in the column, so if I am looking at the box, I was wondering what axis system matched the box and the unit.  Your data sheet showsThe whit dot is importantI think the white dot is in the bottom right hand corner, is the white dot on the board an indicator so X is parallel to the short axis of the box laying down, the Y axis is parallel to the long axis lying down and the Z axis is vertical.   Please confirm, as I have no desire to take the box apart.

The I2C bus has been configured in the JSON configuration file for the LSM6DSVTR. Use Case Requirements:Configuring both IMU sensors using the SSC driver with an I2C-based interface Using interrupt pins for data-ready signaling Specifically:INT2 must support an external pulse: Current Status:In the current driver implementation located at:source/adsp_proc/ssc_drivers/lsm6dsv From the driver code analysis, we observed that data is currently being received using a FIFO-based mechanism.Additionally, it appears that the default driver implementation supports only the INT1 interrupt, while there is no implementation observed for INT2. Problem Statement:Our requirement is to generate an INT2 pulse for every sensor data sample

So I am stumped, which is not unusual.  If I run the SENSOR TBP on a Intel NUC it will run for a long time, days.  It I run the TBP on a lap top of common origin, it might run for 40 seconds, or a few hours, but never days.  Both have Windows 11 and both are good computers. This happens across two NUC’s so it is not a random act of chance.  Neil: Any thoughts?I went through the TBP documentation last night as I now have two more and I could not find an orientation sketch.   

Hello.I would like to use ST AIoT Craft with a SensorTile Box Pro and the MKI234AA DIL24 board to have an external LSM6DSV16BX IMU (different from the onboard LSM6DSV16X).Six months ago, in December 2025, the accelerometer and gyroscope data logging from the LSM6DSV16BX was visible in the ST AIoT Craft interface, and I was able to collect data successfully.Today, I can no longer select the LSM6DSV16BX device because it is no longer visible in the available sensor choices. As a result, I am no longer able to collect data from it.I find this situation rather surprising, and I understand that ST AIoT Craft has evolved since the version I was using in December 2025.However, when creating a new project, it is still possible to select the SensorTile Box Pro and then choose the external board STEVAL-MKI234KA. The issue is that during the data logging phase, the LSM6DSV16BX sensor never appears among the available sensors, making it impossible to collect accelerometer and gyroscope data from t

We have been using the ST MP23DB01HP microphone to measure the shockwave signature of assault rifles. When comparing the time signal with measurements performed with other microphones (e.g. B&K model 4948), we noticed that the typical N-wave signature looks different with the ST microphone. The initial compression wave of the shock appears negative when measured with the ST microphone, which is counter intuitive. Also, the expansion phase of the shockwave, which appears relatively clean when measured with the B&K microphone, is severely perturbed when measured with the ST microphone. Could it be that the perturbation observed with the ST microphone is of internal nature, e.g. caused by some internal flow due to the shockwave and not properly vented out of the casing? What other possible causes would you see? Exceeded acoustic overload point? Tthe shockwave has very strong gradients, that might interact negatively with the ST microphone.

Hello group,I'm a humble hardware guy integrating the LSM6DSV16X into a robotic application.We are going to use it in control loops, between 3kHz and 5kHz sampling.Between the main mode and the OIS mode, there are tons of ODR to choose from.However, is there a way to make the ADC sample at EXACTLY 5kHz?? Like a triggered or synced ODR?Or do I have to set the ODR at 7.68kHz and read the latest value from the FIFO and deal with the small discontinuities?I see the Triggered-ODR section 6.6 in the datasheet. Does it means enabling this will sync the ADC with an external INT2 pulses? Does the new values appears in the FIFO after a defined short delay?Thanks!
