I am unable to change profile/username name can someone help me out 

Mostly, the forum converts a link to a post/thread to a “preview” showing the author’s avatar and post title.But sometimes it doesn’t.Example:Both of those links came from the menu ‘Copy link’ option.Here: In the above case, it was the same both in the editor and after posting.Sometimes, the “preview” doesn’t show in the editor, but does show once posted.

I was trying to edit my post here:https://community.st.com/feedback-forum-118/inconsistent-presentation-of-links-167657?postid=747370#post747370 After inserting images and links and stuff, the “Send” button was grayed out. I had to hit “Cancel”, edit the post again, redo everything, and hit send (which was not grayed out this time). No indication as to why it was grayed out. 

Just now:Notifications of 2 different posts marked as ‘Best Answer’ for the same question at, essentially, the same time. Also had similar earlier this morning:This time five ‘Best’ answers! What’s going on?! ​@nbsown and ​@Rafo were you, perhaps, trying to mark multiple post all as ‘Best Answer’ ?Or did you just change your minds ?

I’ve started a thread before the migration. Now as it received the best answer, I would like to close it by marking that answer, but I can’t as the appropriate item is missing from the posts’ menu.To exclude some potential issue with this incarnation of the forum: can Moderators please confirm that this is consequence of the migration, or is it something else?JW

This morning I got this notification, for a post it says was “1 hour ago”: But it links to this post - which is 4 days old:  I think I’ve seen this before.

I typed up a reply, all text, and hit submit. Then a message pops up saying Something’s gone wrong and my entire message is erased. No indication as to what happened. I’m logged in normally, nothing special going on from my side. Guess I have to copy my message to clipboard before hitting send. 

I created the following topic under MEMS (sensors) with the tags MEMS sensors, E-Compasses and STM32F4 series:“Can MotionMC v2.9.0 calibrate with constrained Alt-Azimuth motion only?” After publication, the topic appears under STM32 MCUs → Others: STM32 MCUs related, and only the STM32F4 series tag remains.Could you please move the topic back to MEMS (sensors) and restore the relevant MEMS sensors and E-Compasses tags?Thank you.

The new forum seems to be wrapping lines within source code blocks; eg lines 44 & 45 here: This really messes with the layout - surely, it’s one of the things which a code block specifically should not do ?

The old forum used to identify locked (read-only) threads in the topic listings.The new forum doesn’t: The highlighted ones are all read-only.This needs to be identified in the listings. PS:See also: 

In this thread:There is a PDF attached.On the old forum, attached PDFs could be viewed online - without having to download.I can’t see how to do that now - clicking, or right-clicking and choosing ‘open in new tab’ both just try to start a download.Am I missing something?

I just got a notification to tell me that a solution has been marked in one of my own threads.I really don’t need a notification to tell me that - because I did it myself! In general, it’s only the thread creator who can mark the solution - so the thread creator should never need a notification of this.(the exception would be when a moderator marks a solution, but that is an exception - not usual)

In Notifications, I have a link to a post, which - judging from the poster’s name (Lowtaperfades haircut) - was an attempt to spam and has gotten deleted.There are two issues with this:-- a removed post should perhaps be removed from my Notifications, too-- more importantly, a post which was there and has been removed, should not lead to a generic “page not found”, but there should be a “we’ve removed this post” landing page for this particular case (it also perhaps shouldn’t be titled “Join the conversation”Also, the widespread usage of the phrase “Something’s gone wrong” does not inspire confidence… :-)JW

When you type ‘@’, you get a list of thread contributors.It would be useful if that list identifies which one started the thread. Also, It seems to me that the thread starter (almost?) always appears at the very end of the list - which seems unhelpful. PS:Also, the list includes my own username - which seems pointless ? Example: 

The old forum had a facility to report a User Profile; eg, an inappropriate avatar or username or for spamming.This was separate from reporting Posts.I don’t see that on the new forum ?
