Hi, how do I configure launch.json to use hot plug?

I am working on STM32WL55 dual core in which the current consumption is as not as expected as according to the datasheet. It is hardcoded for high power only. and the current consumption is coming for +17dBm and +14dBm as expected which is 58mA and 45mA approax but when switching to the +20dBm and +22dBm it is getting capped at 68mA only. It is not going above 68mA at any way. I have hardcoded it to 22dBm but it is still getting capped to 68mA only. I want to do changes in the code in such a way that the current consumption changes. what are the possible reasons of it and what are the functions where the code modification can help in changing the current consumption. Is there that ST has capped it to +18dBm or +17dBM  and will never work above it? void SUBGRF_SetTxParams( uint8_t paSelect, int8_t power, RadioRampTimes_t rampTime ){uint8_t buf[2];int32_t max_power;if (paSelect == RFO_LP){max_power = RBI_GetRFOMaxPowerConfig(RBI_RFO_LP_MAXPOWER);if (power > max_power){power = max_powe

Hello, I'm working on a project using the STM32F401RE board to perform real-time fault diagnosis on machinery. The board receives vibration data in real-time via a USB-type accelerometer (Digiducer 333D01), and a lightweight deep learning model running on the MCU determines whether the signal indicates a normal or faulty condition. All of this is running under FreeRTOS and must meet real-time constraints. The accelerometer is connected through a USB breakout board (YwRobot ELB050209), and the STM32 board is configured to operate as a USB Host with Audio Class support. The USB connection and device enumeration process (including descriptor parsing) have been completed successfully. Interestingly, the Digidecer 333D01 is recognized as a USB Audio Class device, specifically as a microphone-type interface. The device presents itself with an Audio Control interface and an Audio Streaming interface (Isochronous IN), similar to a standard USB microphone.Although the data represents vibration (acc

Hello everyone,I'm a final-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) student aspiring to build my career in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry, particularly in areas such as Battery Management Systems (BMS), Power Electronics, Motor Control, Embedded Systems, and eventually R&D.I recently decided to learn the STM32 NUCLEO-F303RE as my primary development platform because I understand it is widely used for motor control, real-time embedded applications, and industrial systems.I am a complete beginner to STM32 and embedded systems (although I have basic C programming knowledge), and I'd like to learn it the right way rather than just following random tutorials.I'm looking for guidance on the following:What is the best learning roadmap from beginner to advanced for the STM32 NUCLEO-F303RE? In what order should I learn the peripherals (GPIO, Timers, PWM, ADC, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, DMA, etc.)? Which official documents should I read first (User Manual, Datasheet, Reference Manual,

Both Micron and Samsung are putting LPDDR4 memories to EOF.What is the guaranty that STM32MP2 can support other affordable memories e.g LPDDR5?

Factory flashing of the STM32MP135 will be part of some device testing (probably ICT) during production at an external manufacturer. So, SSP will play a part in this. Testing and flashing the device will be automated as much as possible with a custom app (GUI or CLI) running on a PC. This app will execute STM32CubeProgrammer_CLI with corresponding arguments in the background. As I understand it, once the whole SSP process has finished, it cannot be done on the same device again. I need a way to test the automation app numerous times before giving the whole package to the manufacturer. I didn't find a clear solution to this, and I don't want to buy many STM32MP135 development boards or HSM cards for it. For the HSM part: I read in the forum that the licence file can be extracted from the smart card and then use it with the STM32CubeProgrammer but I'm not 100% sure about that. So, my questions are:What is the recommended way to test flashing with SSP on a single device? Can a licence file

STM32CubeMX version 6.18.0.When generating “cmake/stm32cubemx/CMakeLists.txt” does not include source files from directory “Middlewares/ST/usbx/common/usbx_stm32_device_controllers”. My workaround is to add those sources in project CMakeLists.txt:# Set usbx_stm32_device_controllers code filesset(USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR ${CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR}/Middlewares/ST/usbx/common/usbx_stm32_device_controllers)set(USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_SRCS ${USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR}/ux_dcd_stm32_callback.c ${USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR}/ux_dcd_stm32_endpoint_create.c ${USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR}/ux_dcd_stm32_endpoint_destroy.c ${USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR}/ux_dcd_stm32_endpoint_reset.c ${USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR}/ux_dcd_stm32_endpoint_stall.c ${USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR}/ux_dcd_stm32_endpoint_status.c ${USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR}/ux_dcd_stm32_frame_number_get.c ${USBD_STM32_DEVICE_CONTROLLERS_DIR}/ux_dcd_stm32_fu

Hello everyone, I’ve been working for a few weeks on a TouchGFX project using a MCU that is working with CubeMX2, so I used the documentation (Using TouchGFX with STM32CubeMX2 | TouchGFX Documentation) to setup my project, which is working. However I tried to add an SVG Image and then I got the “undefined reference to ‘touchgfx::VectorRenderer::getInstance()’” issue. Normally this issue can be resolved by enabling vector rendering in CubeMX, but because I’m on CubeMX2 it’s not possible in my case.Is there any way to enable vector rendering manually ? Also just to be sure it wasn’t already activated I tried to put a SVG image with the example project that I started with (the NUCLEO-C5A3ZG + RVA15MD project), and I got the same error.MCU used is STM32C552RET6.

Hello,I am looking for a BLDC motor controller with Hall sensor and Encoder interface. Hall sensor is used for commutation and Encoder will be used for position control. I could not find a motor controller with above mentioned interface. Can you suggest a suitable controller? Thanks,Anand

after selecting the pins from cube MX, it will generate code in c but i want that in cpp

It appears that the longest spi operation that could be used to access the LSM6DSV (and related parts) would read a single fifo entry (7 bytes) and it is not possible to read all the available fifo entries in a single dma operation.  Am I missing something? Geoffrey

Hello, I'm trying to program a custom board equipped with an STM32WBA23CE.I've tried wiring it from a Nucleo board (MB1801D), but the programming is failing.CN3 pin5 -> Custom Board VDDpin9 -> PA13pin11 -> PA14Even when I press Connect in CubeProgrammer, an error dialog appears. It works normally when I disconnect the wiring to the custom board, so it doesn't seem to be an issue with the application or the Nucleo board. The custom board does not have 32 kHz support. Are there any resources or descriptions that might be helpful regarding this method?

I’m looking for a replacement of MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:C because it’s out of stock. So, I have found Samsung K4FBE3D4HM-TFCL LPDD4. From what I can see, it’s compatible with MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:C:Same voltage Same package Same pinout Single rank Follows JEDEC standardAre there anything else I need to know before making an order of that LPDDR4 memory?

Why does STM32MP257F-DK not having EMI-filters on RX lines for USB 3.0?Can it be like a common standard that the transmitter TX should always have:AC capacitors ESD protection EMI-filteringAnd the RX does not need anything of those, because it’s assuming that their transmitter already having these implemented? This picture is from mb1605-mp257f-c01-schematic.pdf

Hello,I noticed that in the STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.13.0 distribution, the folder \Drivers\CMSIS\DSP\Lib has disappeared. Is there a document available that explains how to compile these libraries, and what are the options and defines to set for an STM32H743?Thank you.

I’m starting FOC code generation for H5 using MCSDKBlocks I am configuring in MC Workbench include , STMH563ZI (Nucleo Bd) and IHM07M1 (Power module), and motor.  I noticed the PWM configuration is not for general purpose, it is specifically configured for L6230 in IMH07M1.But I’d like to configure PWM for general purpose,  such as for the STEVAL-LVLP01 board I have evaluated already, is this possible? Please let me know and thank you for your consideration.

Hi ST expertSTM32G473cbt6 and STM32G474cbt6 are pin-to-pin compatible, can their software projects be designed into one project?

Hello everyone.I will use my MCU to acquire big amounts of analog data and transfer them to a host using UDP.As DTCM is 128K and SRAM1 is 368K I would like to store those data in SRAM1. As an exercice I’m trying to configure LwIP in SRAM1.I’ve followed many tutorials (MPU is, I beleive, set correctly) :with a cache protected region where all the LwIP data should be (normally it should only matter when I’ll run this program) I’ve also configure ETH to point to this area :And Lwip is also configured with this same areaAnd the flash script is also set :But when I compile the code directly after importing from cubeMX, I get :Data are not in SRAM1, they are in the DTCM.Am I missing something ? Do I have to set some options in the compiler ?Also I’m a bit surprised to see that 4 descriptors x 32 bits = 0xa0 (0d160) ??? Or F777 descriptors are 40 bits ?Thanks to anyone who will take some time to help me.Best regards

I need to use 2 image sensors for tracking proposes, it would be nice if I could sync the two cameras.I see that provide configurable GPIOS with signals like PWM/ PULSE/ VSYNC/ START OF FRAME.Is there any application note/ reference design, on how to sync two image sensors ?  Do I need an external PWM for this? or one sensor can be master (to generate pulse) and to provide clock to Slave sensor? Also I would like to now if the two sensors can have the same clock source to sync MIPI clock.Thank you.

Hello,We are designing a custom board using the STM32MP157FAC1 device and need to provide one USB 2.0 High-Speed port.Kindly refer to the attached block diagram snapshot and review the proposed USB interface architecture of our custom board. Please verify whether the implementation is correct and let us know if any modifications or additional recommendations are required for reliable USB 2.0 High-Speed operation.Regards,PS

In position control mode, when the commanded angleand motion time are not properly matched, the motor speed sometimes exceeds the maximum speed limit. For example, if the motor’s maximum speed is 3000 RPM, after executing the command the motor speed may reach 4000 RPM. Its not generating error that this motion cannot be executed.

I am using STM32H753ZI and trying to bring up Ethernet (LAN8742, RMII) using HAL + lwIP in NO-RTOS  mode. I generated the code using STM32CubeMX with ETH enabled (RMII) and lwIP enabled (WITH_RTOS disabled, static IP). The PHY link comes up and RJ45 LEDs blink, but the board does not respond to ping and no ARP entry is created on the PC (Destination Host Unreachable). I have placed ETH descriptors and RX buffers in D2 SRAM, enabled MPU and D-Cache, verified RMII_REF_CLK to PA1, selected the LAN8742 PHY driver, and I am calling MX_ETH_Init(), MX_LWIP_Init(), and processing lwIP in the main loop. The FreeRTOS-based STM32H743 Ethernet example works, but I specifically want a HAL-only .

Hello Team, We are currently investigating an issue related to the SPI communication between the STPM34 sensor and the STM32F4 microcontroller. At system startup, all values measured by the STPM34 remain stuck at zero. Even when voltage and current are injected using an OMICRON test bench, no measurement values are received or displayed.Several tests were performed:If we power up the system and confirm that the issue is present, then electrically restart only the board containing the STPM34, the communication recovers correctly and the measured values are no longer stuck at zero.We also soldered wires on one of the SPI buses (SPI1). Since there are two STPM34 devices on the board, two SPI instances are used to communicate with each sensor. The purpose was to verify whether the communication between the sensor and the STM32 was correctly established.Interestingly, simply soldering wires on this SPI bus makes the issue disappear for this instance. However, on the second SPI instance,

Is there a version based on the STM32G4 available? Is the firmware package available for download?Best regards
