Posted on July 09, 2013 at 14:15 Hello, i have a doubt. The Daughter/adapter board SPC56ELADPT144S is for SPC56xxEL family. In SPC56ELADPT144S datasheet is written:  device supported SPC56EL60L5. But when i search in WEB page for SPC56xxEL family i don't find SPC56EL60L5. WEB page: http://www.st.com/web/en/catalog/sense_power/FM2098/SC963/SS1534 in MCU list there are SPC56EL60L3 or SPC56EL70L5. SPC56ELADPT144S support a MCU that it don't exists?  i think that's impossible! There is an error? However, error apart,  are MCU SPC56EL70L5 compatible with SPC56ELADPT144S? Posted on June 14, 2013 at 14:30Hi,I am designing a product that uses CR95HF transceiver IC and custom shape flexible antenna.According to ISO/IEC 15693 standard a vicinity coupling device shall generate a field of at least Hmin (150mA/m) and not exceeding Hmax (5A/m) at manufacturer specified positions (operating volume). It is also defined that a Vicinity Integrated Circuit(s) Card shall continue to operate as intended after exposure to a magnetic field of 12 A/m at 13,56 MHz.In my mind this specifies the operating conditions my design has to meet. I have been able to build a working system that can read and write tags but I do not have concrete evidence if my system works in boundaries explained by ISO/IEC 15693.I have studied basics of RFID-technology and read documents like AN3394. I can see the code to go on the M24LR board, but not the code for the USB connected RF transceiver. I'm considering modifying the code running this board, but I would be much happier if I had a working binary to reflash back to the board if I make a mistake - full source code would be even better, if possible.Thanks, #m24lr-discovery #cr95hf-firmware

Posted on March 14, 2013 at 08:40Hello everyone, I am interested in the maximal junction temperature of the M95256-WMN3TP/AB E²PROM. The maximum ambient operating temperature of  a grade 3 device is 125°C, so the junction temerature has to be higher. There is no mentioning of a maximum junction temperature in the data sheet. I also looking for junction to ambient thermal resistance of the M95256-W in the SO-8 package. Best regards, Thomas

Posted on February 15, 2013 at 21:47Hi, i downloaded SPC5 studio from ST web. look like a nice enviroment but i don't undestand what showld i do to purchase an activation code for compiler once trial period is expired. If i start my development with such enviroment i need to know how go ahead without stop and go. Second i'm not sure if Pictus line is supported by SPC5 studio configurato and compiler Thanks #spc56

Posted on February 06, 2013 at 22:37Hello, I have looked at the SPC5 studio preview and have a few comments/questions: 1.  When will a compiler be available? 2.  The SPC5 Studio seems to integrate the Chibios RTOS.  There is no documentation with the studio for the OS.  When will this be available?  The OS implementation does not match the Chibio documentation available on Chibios.org as the original OS was intended for z4 and z3 PPC cores.  What is changed between the original OS and the one used in the studio? 3.  Is there a possiblity to not use the OS but still use the drivers and configuration part of the studio? Posted on September 02, 2012 at 00:47I was trying to use malloc in a project  which has been ported from an other platform. I get the message that... _sbrk  ... is undefined. This is used by _sbrk_r which again is used by malloc. I found no solution herein but looked at the following at http://embdev.net/topic/129753   I am not very familiar to this so a little help would do. I can create the function if needed, no prob. but I find it likely that this has already been solved somehow for stm32fxx devices and i rather like the idea to have something dedicated instead for me trying to implement this myself. Hello superhero MCU enthusiasts,I'm playing with the STM32N6570-DK and have created a simple project with an FSBL that initializes the MCU and boots the Appl. Once booted, the Appl flashes a "Hello World" LED.Both can be loaded to external flash using the STM32CubeProgrammer.Now, I'm trying to map external PSRAM (XSPI1 -> 0x90000000) inside the FSBL, but it fails.To do that, I change a line in a file in the FSBL, stm32_extmem_conf.h, line 35 of (PSRAM disabled):#define EXTMEM_DRIVER_PSRAM 0Now I try to enable and map the external PSRAM by setting the definition to 1:#define EXTMEM_DRIVER_PSRAM 1However, it doesn't succeed.When debugging I see we land into a HardFault.The FSBL generates a HardFault when executing SAL_XSPI_EnableMapMode, because the function HAL_XSPI_MemoryMapped fails.I can't find the cause.Anyone?I posted a project here with a short Readme.md:https://github.com/AngryCarrot61/STM32N6570-DK_004Note: to see FSBL and Appl working one has to set EXTMEM_DRIVER_PSRAM
