Dear STMicroelectronics Support Team,I am writing to request technical clarification regarding the wake-up configuration of the L99DZ300G's EI1 pin. We are currently debugging an issue related to sleep mode and false wake-ups in our system.[Background]An external controller inputs a 50Hz (20ms period) PWM signal to the EI1 pin for Crash Unlock detection. The signal operates as follows: Steady State: High 16ms (80%) / Low 4ms (20%) Crash State: High 4ms (20%) / Low 16ms (80%) [Current S/W Configuration]The EI1 pin is configured to Cyclic Mode using Timer 2: EI1_FILT[1:0] = 0x01 (Cyclic mode with Timer 2) Timer 2 Period = 20ms (T2) Timer ON Time = 0.1ms (ton1) [Our Analysis & Concerns]Based on the datasheet, our understanding is that the "blanking time 80% of timer ON time" applies to the 0.1ms ton (i.e., 80µs), followed by a brief 16µs sampling window ($t_{WU\_cyc}$).Since the monitoring period (20ms) matches the input PWM period (20ms), we suspect an aliasing/phase lock issue

  I am using STM32F411CEU6 Black Pill from WeAct. Stlink was working I was able to flash the code but now after testing when I tried to connect it wouldn't connect I keep getting this error. I am using stlink clone.  USB under DFU mode gets connected, full chip erase works but when I try to flash the code I get this error      Please help me out

Hi,I struggled a while to find out why my STM8S I2C was always “Busy”.Even AI had some headaches (except only one put me on the track ...)This device requires to configure the definition of I2C pinout in special FLASH.To do this, compile your project and open ST Visual Programmer.Load your “My_project.s19” file. There are three TABS in the window: PROGRAM MEMORY, DATA MEMRORY and OPTION BYTE. Click on option byte, select AFR6 and change it for “I2C SDA SCK” instead of “AIN4 AIN5”. Save your “My_project.s19” file.When your will burn the device, it will write the new parameters in the FLASH and the device will always be configured for I2C. You do this exercise only once.Hope it will help ….

Hello,I am trying to use the M95M04 as a SPI slave device from the ADI DS28E18 one-wire bridge. A picture has been uploaded to show the entire hardware setup. My main issue is that whenever I try to send data to the EEprom and then read that data back, I only get FF as a result. When setting write enable or write disable, the MISO line pulls low like would be expected and returns 00. I have used an oscilloscope with a bus decoder to ensure that the correct commands are being sent out of the DS28E18 to the M95M04, and they are. We never see the WIP bit go high, and we have tried many changes in both the hardware and the software. Our current hardware setup is based off of the schematic image I have posted, but there have been some modifications. C1001 has been changed to 10uF X7R, C1002 has been changed to 1uF X7R, and 10k pull-up resistors have been added on the S# and D pins. When using the STSPIN32G4 chip, the ADC uses an external resistor for non-inverting amplification to determine the value, but in reality, the ADC-OUT output is always at the maximum of its internal LDO. Changing the external feedback resistor can't change the output value of its op-amp. What could be the reason for this? Also, the voltage difference on the non-inverting side of the three op-amps is inconsistent: two are 0.27, and one is 0.35. I’d like to ask the experts for advice.

Hello,is the breakdown voltage of a TVS (e.g. SMAJ5.0A) a guaranteed value?Background: I whish to protect a circuit from overvoltages on the 5V supply which can be normally range from 4.4V to 6V. AN316 would then suggest to use a  SMAJ6.0A or better 6.5A as it says, that the maximum operating voltage should be below the Vrm voltage.But if I read the datasheet right, the Vbr voltage states a minimum (tested?) voltage at which the reverse current reaches / exceeds 1mA.If I want to have the protection level as low as possible, I would prefer the SMAJ5, as it has a VBr of 6.4V. I know, if my supply goes up to 6V that I get a higher reverse current, which I can to tolerate. But I would expect, that this current is not higher than the test current of 1mA for the Vbr and therefore the dissipated power in the TVS should well below 10mW. Does an elevated voltage near to the breakdown voltage cause problems over time?

Dear ST Team,As per datasheet, found on page 30/36: Parts marked as “ES” or “E” are not yet qualified and therefore not approved for use in production. I need help in interfacing STM8S208 with BU97530 LCD driver IC

The STUSB4500 cannot communicate with my I2C bus. The voltages measured on the chip's 1V2 and 2V7 capacitor pins are 3V and 5V, respectively, and VBUS is also 5V. I tried to read the chip ID, but the result was 0, which is obviously incorrect.The following schematic showswiring diagram.

Hi, I’m trying to identify the part number of a STMicroelectronics LDO that is on one of our boards to verify it is the correct part through the device marking. I saw on another forum post that the device marking decoding information is something that only STMicroelectronics has access to internally. Could I please get help identifying the part circled in red by it device marking? It looks like it say 8L533.
