Hi,I created a Windows batch file trying to build STM32CubeIDE project, but somehow it always got the workspace error and please help to clarify, thanks.Here is my batch script.  set CUBEIDE_PATH=C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.13.2\STM32CubeIDE set WORKSPACE=C:\Users\James.Shih\STM32CubeIDE\workspace_1.13.2 set PROJECT=vB+STM32G070 set CONSOLE=-vmargs -Dorg.eclipse.cdt.core.console=org.eclipse.cdt.core.systemConsole set HEADLESS=--launcher.suppressErrors -nosplash -application org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.core.headlessbuild %CUBEIDE_PATH%\stm32cubeidec.exe %HEADLESS% -build %PROJECT% %WORKSPACE% %CONSOLE%  Here is the error logs. !MESSAGE Application error !STACK 1 java.lang.IllegalStateException: Workspace is already closed or not ready yet. Consider tracking the org.eclipse.core.resources.IWorkspace service (using your favorite technique, e.g. Declarative Services, ServiceTracker, Blueprint, ...) instead of calling the static method here to prevent such issues!&nbs

Hello,I've configured SPI1 on STM32H742VIT6 connected to pins PA4-7 using AF5.Here is a dump of the relevant SPI1 registers:SPI1->CR1 = 00000001 SPI1->CR2 = 00000000 SPI1->CFG1 = 70000007 SPI1->CFG2 = 20400000 SPI1->SR = 00001002The MCU should be the SPI master and I am trying to control the NSS output as follows (NSS is on PA4): __INLINE void bsp_spi_nss_assert(void) { GPIOA->BSRR = GPIO_BSRR_BR4; } __INLINE void bsp_spi_nss_release(void) { GPIOA->BSRR = GPIO_BSRR_BS4; }I find that the NSS signal is asserting though and remains low forever (so I don't think the bsp_spi_nss_release function is working).Can someone recommend anything to try which I might be missing?Thanks!-Brian

Hi there,When setting up my CAN bus using the cube mx generator tool, I found that switching from using an external clock source for my CAN peripheral to the intrenal one (HSI48) to be exact my CAN comms began to work.Im not sure as to why this is possible as I though th extenal crystal were more accurate than the internal ones?Any help shedding light on the situation would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,We are using ASM330LHHTR in our design. Could you please share the TARIC code details for this particular component? Additionally, could you provide the information on the End-of-Life status of this part?Regards,Sowmiya

Hi,I am doing my absolute baby steps in the STM32 environment. My MCU model is STM32F756VGH6. After days of debugging I finally managed to connect my STLINK V3 to the MCU but not run the led blinky :(This TFBGA100 package on a custom breakout board might not be the best for learning. However, the STLINK can read the core ID and connect to the MCU, so I suspect my wiring is right, I have enough decoupling capacitors, USB, BOOT, NRST and other crucial pins are at their needs as well.. #include "main.h" void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MPU_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); int main(void) { MPU_Config(); HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); while (1) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_14, 1); HAL_Delay(1000); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_14, 0); HAL_Delay(1000); } } //--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- void SystemC

Just wondering if it's possible to add an extra sensor (SPI) on the STEVAL-SMARTAG1? Can the SPI sensor be replaced to complete the acquisition?

Hello STM Community team:I'm working  with a vl53l3cx sensor on a custom board with zephyr rtos but i am not able to get a reading.To use the sensor I just modified the zephyr driver for the vl53l1x, on the .c file inside the driver I made the following changes:1) added a VL53LX_MultiRangingData_t member in "struct vl53l3cx_data".2) in function "_read_sensor" changed the "GetRangingMeasurementData" for GetMultiRangingData, using the new MultiRangingData_t member as argument.3) in function "_channel_get", changed to get NumberOfObjectsFound instead of RangeMilliMeter.4) Replace the VL53L1X API functions for the VL53L3CX API functions, as indicated on the UM2778. the result is that the number of object found is always 0, this is independent of the distance mode . What I am doing wrong? Any suggestion to get the sensor made a reading.Let me know if I can clarify anything, and thanks in advance for any help.

Hello, ST team.We are happy to report new bugs, because the old ones have already been resolved)When I try to edit the value of a variable in the Live View window, the variable of type "double" takes on a random value. Variables of the "float" type are edited without problems and accept the entered valuesюBut if I using popup window to edit structure variables it is working correct with "double" types.using STM32F411 MCU1. Trying to edit "pid_pressure_struct.kd" input 0.3, but shows -2.53...e-185

Beginner's question here. I have Nucleo-L476RG board and trying to learn more about the code CubeMX generates. To this end I started a new project and answered 'no' to setting up the peripherals, to make it as simple as possible.As part of MX_GPIO_Init() the B1_Pin is configured. I can't find any reason for this. The pin does not get a mention in the pinout view or the system view, and I can't find any reference to it in the generated code following its configuration.Here is the relevant code:__HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE();followed by:/*Configure GPIO pin : B1_Pin */GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = B1_Pin;GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_IT_FALLING;GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL;HAL_GPIO_Init(B1_GPIO_Port, &GPIO_InitStruct);

Hello,Here is an example of what I am trying to make in TouchGFX Designer.     So, since I need different text colors for text inputs, I am using 2 text area inputs here. Both inputs are wildcards and should change value dynamically. I am having trouble centering them on the screen, as I would like that no matter the length of each value the texts are centered in the container. (like in the attached image).If I were to present this as one text area with 2 wildcard inputs I would just remove auto-size, expand text area to full width of the container and center it. But here I am using two textareas.Is there a way to do this in Designer alone or do I need some code added later on to fix the positions?

I found in "Figure 11. Memory map" of "Datasheet - production data for STM32F103x8", the address span between Port A and Port B is 1024(0x4001 0c00 - 0x40010800 = 32*32 bits), while I found in "RM0041 - Reference manual STM32F100xx advanced Arm ® -based 32-bit MCUs", there are only 7 32-bit registers for Port A, and there are not preserved space there, so my question is what is the other 25 32-bit space, are they used for remapping "I/Os alternate function configuration"?

Hello everyone, I'm trying to use the Wifi module MXCHIP EMW3080 from the STWBXCS1 so I want to start from this example on a B-U585I-IOT2A since these boards share the same µC and Wifi module. I think I just need to change the use of SPI2 for wifi control in the original project, to SPI1 on my board. I have changed yet : Calling Wifi_handle_SPI hspi1 instead of hspi2The pins for MISO, MOSI, CS, CK, Chip_en, Flow and NotifyFor the clock of the SPI I chose PCLK2 with a prescaler of 8.It is still not working as expected because it waits indefinitely for the Flow signal to be raised by the Wifi module.Did I forget something ? or is the principle of trying to adapt a code made for another board simply wrong? Thans for your help!

I've been trying to set up the AES peripheral so that it's only using the hardware derived key from the SAES peripheral (without setting any clear text key). However, the only method mentioned in the reference manual on using the DHUK is through the shared-key mode, where a clear text key is encrypted and passed on to AES. I would like to know if there is a way to use AES with no clear text key (key is entirely hardware generated).Any insights or alternative approaches would be greatly appreciated.

I have integrated the ST25R3911B into an ARM64 Linux development board, using rfal_v1.3 for communication via SPI.I am able to poll and read cards successfully, but I've observed higher CPU usage.Upon inspecting the perf.svg, it appears that the st25r3911ReadMultipleRegisters function is consuming a significant amount of CPU.Could you assist in analyzing this issue? here is my pltf_spi.c  /****************************************************************************** * @attention * * <h2><center>© COPYRIGHT 2018 STMicroelectronics</center></h2> * * Licensed under ST MYLIBERTY SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT (the "License"); * You may not use this file except in compliance with the License. * You may obtain a copy of the License at: * * http://www.st.com/myliberty * * Unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, software * distributed under the License is distributed on an "AS IS" BASIS, * WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR COND

I'm using NUCLEO U575ZI with LPTIM1 configured as Quadrature ENCODER with 32kHz internal clockIn RUN mode peripheral works properly but when I switch in STOP2 mode peripheral doesn't count.I can assume the peripheral is powered ON because when I exit STOP2 counter value is steel the same before entering STOP2.I'm also using L4 and it works properly in RUN and STOP2 mode.Any idea to solve the problem? Alex

Good morning,I am creating an application that would require the use of several stm32wl55.The idea is to have one microcontroller configured as a LoraWan EndNode communicating with TTN and a set of Slaves communicating via subghz (which will be slaves).I was able to implement both solutions separately but I would like to know if anyone has ever tried to combine the two functions so that a microcontroller communicates with a ttn gateway and simultaneously is a master of a ping pong network.Or if there is a similar methodology.thanks to those who can help me

I started to use TouchGFX version 4.21.1 recently. Noticed that code generation in Designer is changed compared to some old versions and this renders unusable many tutorials and documentations that can be found on net.   My problem is that I can not display variable using TextAreaWithOneWildcard.Basically invalidate function does nothing.I prepared new typography with more or less default settings (-,+ as default wildcard characters,  A-Z,0-9 as Wildcard ranges).According many tutorials on net, code generator should generate buffer for this TextAreaWithOneWildcard.But I can see in MainViewBase::MainViewBase() textArea1.setTypedText(touchgfx::TypedText(T___SINGLEUSE_CPF7)); and no buffer for user use.I have added my bufferUnicode::UnicodeChar myBuffer[20];and in void MainView::setupScreen()I have added the line:textArea1.setWildcard(myBuffer); I expected after execution of this codevoid MainView::update_text_field(uint16_t new_val){Unicode::snprintf(my

Hi,I'm looking for the max size of SRAM allocated for the GATT database for the STM32WB series.I've found the informations for WB55 and WB15 but I can't find the information for WB10/30/35/50/. Does anyone know these values or how it can be calculated ?I'm asking this question because I'm working with WB10 and I'm close to the max size permitted (2.7kB). I would like to know if the SRAM allocated for the GATT database is bigger for WB30.Thanks for your help.

Can anyone please tell me? how can I separate gpio s which can be operated with 5v and 3v.

I configured the SWT to Generate an interrupt on an initial time-out, reset on a second consecutive time-out.The interrupt is well raised on the initial time-out.The problem is that the reset is not occurred in the next time-out.here the initialisation sequence of SWT :/* Disable Software Lock */SWT_2->SR.B.WSC = 0xC520U;SWT_2->SR.B.WSC = 0xD928U; /* Wait until Software Lock is disabled */while (1U == SWT_2->CR.B.SLK) {/* Empty while */} /* disable the SWT */SWT_2->CR.B.WEN = 0U; SWT_2->CR.B.FRZ = 0U;SWT_2->CR.B.SMD = 0U;SWT_2->CR.B.WND = 0U;SWT_2->CR.B.STP = 1U;SWT_2->CR.B.RIA = 0U;SWT_2->IR.B.TIF = 1U;SWT_2->TO.B.WTO = 0x00088B80U; /* Enable the SWT */SWT_2->CR.B.WEN = 1U; I tried also Generate a reset on a time-out(without interrupt) but also the CPU does not resetPS: To have the time out I'm in empty while(1) {}; I missed something in configuration ? The following uses machine translation:    I am currently using the chip ST25R3911B for custom protocol communication with another device of mine, but I cannot find the configuration flow for "stream mode" in the specification and would like to know where to find the reference routine for stream mode.    In addition, it seems that the transparent mode can also realize the communication of the custom protocol, but the configuration information provided in the specification is too little, can you provide the configuration process of the transparent mode?Best regards
