I upgraded STM32CubeIDE to 1.14.0 and then when I went to open an ioc file I got this message:This project was setup with STM32CubeMX V6.9.2 using STMCube FW_G0 V1.6.1.There are two options to proceed:-Migrate:Migrate your project using the current STM32CubeMX version (6.10.0)-Continue: Continue to stay compatible with the old STM32CubeMX version 6.9.2I chose the 'Migrate' option, which was probably a mistake. Now when I try to open the ioc file it just goes blank. Any advice please?ADDED LATER: In the meantime, I tried opening a different project, but selected the 'Continue' option. Again I got a blank tab when I tried to open the  .ioc file

While loading .ioc file, when clicking continue to when pressing ok ,

What ability to view the contents of the call stack in CubeIDE is present?, i.e. what functions were called before the crash, preferably in the form of a tree

HI I have a motor which I've used for while with many 6-step controllers, including commercial ESCs. I profiled this motor and it works well with the ST sensorless FOC, but using the same motor profile in a 6-step app gives very bad results, the motor works OK at low RPM, but above 1K or so it makes a terrible squeeling sound and operates very inefficiently.. I had a quick look at the scope but nothing jumped out at me A couple other Qs:-Where in the MCW config do I configure the PWM input control? -Is there an example of controlling the speed with the Potentiometer on the B-G431B-ESC1 Motor control workbench Version: 6.2.0STM32CubeMX Version: 6.10.0STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.14.0Controler/Driver: B-G431B-ESC1 kitMCW application: Electronic speed control on B-G431B-ESC1 kit (6Step)

I've purchased a B-G431B-ESC1 kit and loaded it up with software (Details below)and soldered Phase, Power, and PWM/+5/Gnd wires.A couple problems and questions: -On most of my motors, there is no motion produced just some clicks, even though I've matched up motor parameters I think (Is there a way to find motor parameters?).  -On one gimbel motor with higher phase resistance(17ohm), I'm able to get it spinning, but it only spins for a second or 2 then stops, rather than keep going and have speed constantly adjusted. -I am sending a ~490Hz PWM signal with period between, 800us and 2000us (if I don't do this, the controller just sits ther and beeps -Is there a program availabe which just does standard 6-step commuctation without FOC? -Can I run the MotorPilot app without the 490Hz WPM?  Motor control workbench Version: 6.2.0STM32CubeMX Version: 6.10.0STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.14.0 Controler/Driver: B-G431B-ESC1 kit MCW application: Electron

Since updating the Cube IDE last week it's listing  9 link errors on compile related to the MCU tools, nano lib, but if I just compile it again the errors disappear! Before the update this didn't occur. If anyone else has this or knows a fix, please let me know.Thxs

Hello,I am looking for a evaluation board for STMF427 MCU. Is the board NUCLEO-F429ZI the right evaluation board for it?Are the MCUs F427 and F429 different from each mainly from graphic features like the display interface? Kind regards,Neo

Hello Everyone i am using stm32G031J6 Microcontroller. I want to generate a PWM signal from Timer 1 working as slave in gated mode, that has a pulse width = 10us and pulse period = 44us  In this microcontroller i am using Timer 3 as a Master which has a PWM signal that has a Burst width = 7ms and Burst Period = 16.67 ms. Hello,I am working on a custom board based on STM32MP157A . For USBPHYC i am referring the driver from Linux(V5.13)  and some of the registers like STM32_USBPHYC_MONITOR mentioned in the driver file are missing in the reference manual (RM0436).So i just wanted to know is it the only register missing in the reference manual (or) are  there any other registers missing .If yes, could you help me in finding those registers with their offset addresses and their functionality  or suggest me the  actual  reference manual. please find the below attached link for the driver file i am using : https://elixir.bootlin.com/linux/v5.13/source/drivers/phy/st/phy-stm32-usbphyc.c Thanks&Regards,Srikanth.

I was trying to build the sample project in GitHub [https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeL4/tree/master/Projects/NUCLEO-L476RG/Examples_LL/I2C/I2C_TwoBoards_MasterTx_SlaveRx] for NUCLEO-L476RG board.I have tried the below methods to import the project.File -> Open Project from File SystemFile -> Import -> General -> Existing Projects into Workspace (Enable Copy Projects into workspace)File -> Import -> C/C++ -> Existing Code as Makefile ProjectI am facing the issue below while building the project after import. The same error will occur after Clean and Build the project. Error message for 1st and 2nd method:15:25:22 **** Incremental Build of configuration Debug for project I2C_TwoBoards_MasterTx_SlaveRx ****make -j4 all make: *** No rule to make target '/home/Desktop/Src/main.c', needed by 'Example/User/main.o'. Hi, I am using a stm32h753 controller for my project, in which I need to store public key which could be updated during runtime. Is there any way I could store it inside the controller securely? Also do the stm32h753's flash has OTP? I could not find one in the reference manual.Aswath

I have version 6.7.0 of STM32CUBEMX, version 8.1.0 of X-CUBE-AI, and my stm32 development board model stm32h743iit6. using the Analyze button on STM32CUBEMX works. But when I generate c code for my onnx model and deploy it to the development board, my model fails to initialize. When I traced how the problem happened, I saw the ai_platform_network_create function. It's a black box function and I can't get inside it (it seems to be an officially provided function). I can compile and burn normally using the Keil software, but I can't proceed further when I run into this function. When I use debugging and click on the Stop button while stuck, my Call stack+Locals window prompts an HardFault_handler error. How do I get my model to run properly?

Hi all. This is the first time I am using CubeH7 + FreeRTOS + LwIP. I have tried to trace down how Ethernet MAC interrupts have been enabled. If I got the code correctly:+ I enabled "Ethernet global interrupt" option from CubeMX "ETH".+ I enabled "LwIP" and "FreeRTOS" from CubeMX.+ "LwIP", "FreeRTOS" and "ETH" are all owned by Cortex-M4.Then when I trace down function calls MX_LWIP_Init() -> netif_add() -> ethernetif_init() -> low_level_init(). Seems there is no Ethernet interrupt enabling code...And when I setup a breakpoint to HAL_ETH_IRQHandler(). It's not getting called as well...I am now using:STM32CubeMX v6.9.2STM32CubeH7 v.1.11.1Maybe I setup something wrong? Thanks!

How does the program get loaded into the microcontroller from Stink can somebody please explain

Hi,I am assessing to use ST95HF chip or ST25R95 chip for Bluetooth pairing (use NFC Data Exchange Format) application and reader mode of NFC Tag URL.I would like to know if above two functions can work on the chip at the same time. And does the software package contain Bluetooth pairing and read NFC Tag URL for reference?ST95HFST25R95Best regards,Sam Cheng.

Hi,I would like to use this device: STM32H753VIT6 to communicate withan SD-card in SDR104 mode.As I understand it would require an I/O voltage on the card side of 1.8V. This is where I become insecure if the given device can generate this voltage internally or I need a voltage translator?Thank you

Hi,We develop a device based on STM32H7B0. We use this microcontroller with QSPI external flash. In the internal flash we keep our bootloader and in the external flash resides application code. We are now testing our devices and we had 3 cases when the internal flash got erased. In result the devices act "dead" becuase there is no code to initialize and start the application from the external flash. Why does it happen? Nowhere in the bootloader nor in the application code we use instructions to unlock the internal flash, not speaking of instructions to erase it. Is there any other option for the internal flash to get erased?Regards, Piotr

On Thursday, June 29, 2023, I attended the "STM32H5: Ultimate combination of performance, integration and affordability" workshop, which I find very interesting. Workshop participants were informed that the slides and a voucher to order the STM32H5 development board would be sent by e-mail. Unfortunately, I have not received any e-mail so far (I have checked the spam folder). The same problem (lack of materials and voucher) also applies to the workshop "STM32C0: Your next generation 8-bit MCU is a 32-bit", in which I participated on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.Best regards,Mirek

All I want to do (for now) is build the ESC software and download it into the B-G431B-ESC1 board.1. After alot of searching, I installed this: MC_SDK_6.2.02.  I ran MotorControl Workbench 6.2.0, loaded the "Electronics Speed control on B-G431B-ESC kit", Click "Generate the Project"3. I get error: STM32CubeMX not found - ver. "6.0.0" or higher is required4. I install STM32Cube 6.1, and also it's "patch" (which the instructions for applying are extremely confusing) Well, that didn't help. I installed STM32CubeMX , tried again and I see the same thing: Logfile from my project:2023-12-06 02:36:22,256 DEBUG [WB_to_MX.lambda$run_gui_mode$0] Arguments: [-mx_timeout, -1, -pack, assets/MotorControlPack/MotorControl.zip, -exp, templates/wb-defines_where_and_what.txt, -ftl, templates/wb_ioc_template.ftl, -xdm, C:\develop\st_workbench\ElectronicSpeedControl_ESC-G4\ElectronicSpeedControl_ESC-G4.wbdef, -ioc, C:\develop\st_workbench\ElectronicSpeedControl_ESC-G4\Electron

STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.12.0     We have an older Atollic TrueSTUDIO workspace that we want to migrate to a STM32CubeIDE. The original plan was to take one of our newer STM32CubeIDE projects, change the processor and then import the older source code files. The question we have is that there does no seem to be an easy way to change the processor in STM32CubeIDE, even under the Device Configuration Tool. In Atollic you could go into the project settings and use a pull-down to simply change the processor. Do you have to create a new project and then import the the original code into it to change a processor? Thanks

Hi dear friendsI am controlling a current source DC-DC converter using a stm32g474 microcontroller. I am using all 6 HRTIMs to generate 12 PWM signals for my 12 switches. My converter has different operation modes and in each one, these 12 timers have their compare value register (CMP) values and different phase shifts relative to each other. The problem is that when transitioning from one mode to the next mode, these compare values and phase shifts must change and among this mode change, the HRTIM outputs give arbitrary signals for 3-4 switching cycles. This means that the switches do not receive correct modulation signals and transistors burn. How I can control the HRTIM outputs exactly cycle by cycle when a flag for mode transition becomes high and gives the order for mode change? I must mention that the converter is a current source converter and I cannot switch off the timers for some cycles to reconfigure them and turn them on. It will burn all the transistors. I need to cha

I have a custom board with STM32G070RB micro. I programmed the board several times for debugging in the development phase using theST-LINK//V2 in CubeIDE.Now I would like to generate a .bat file to program the boards, but I am facing some problems. My command line is the following (I am using ST-LINK/V2):STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD freq=4000 mode=UR -e all -w "file.hex" -v -ob RDP=0xBB and it worked well.In order to reprogram the board I did: STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD freq=4000 mode=UR -ob RDP=0xAA. After this I can reprogram the board using the first command. Everything looked good at that moment, but I tried to program the board again from the CubeIDE (like I did for several times) and the programming from CubeIDE failed. I thought that I have to put the read protection to level; 0 and I tried to send the command STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD freq=4000 mode=UR -ob RDP=0xAA but no more worked. It responds with "Error: No STM32 target found!" message.I tried t
