Does stm32cubemx not support generate project with makefile?

I try to use STM32CubeMX generate project with makefile, but the option is gray. It's can not select. Does the cubemx not support generate makefile on stm32mp1 platform ?

I confirm CubeMX does not support "makefile" project generation for STM32MP15.

Can you elaborate why you want/need to use this format?

Hi @Community member​ , thanks for your reply. I want manual build and debug the project on cm4 of stm32mp1. The stm32cubeide sometime have failed or error when debug with cm4.

The issue you are facing with STM32CubeIDE debug have to be understood and fixed.
