Can we test the demo application for STM32F407 Discovery board with Ubuntu 18.04 desktop? If so what are the software and hardware utilities I need and where can we get those? We are from a firm. Please provide the details.Thanks.

I followed the instruction in the link

But while installing I get the following error.

I took the latest version.

Is there any previous versions that has no issues with Ubuntu 18.04?

Seems you have installed somethink segger jlink

...which is also in package jlink 6.449

try uninstall it and repeat

I could not figure it how to uninstall segger Jlink in ubuntu. It's not showing Software Center. I could not get help from web how to identify and uninstall through terminal.

But compiler and IDE was installed and I am able to use it.

jlink will be used for debuggging and flashing through JTAG interface. This part is remaining

Please help.

Segger jlink is for user , that own and use it. For you isnt required.
