Hello! I would like to ask what is the meaning of setting the Latched state option in the red box as shown in the following figure? I didn't see any specific definition or explanation related to this in the SPC58 reference manual? Can you tell me where to view its related content? Thank you.

Hi ,I need to use MBED TLS and TCP in F429ZI board. I didn't see any example codes for the same . Can anyone Please share the example code.

Hello, I have a question regarding the subject.Thank you always for your great answers. They have been very helpful :grinning_face:[Reproduction Steps]1. In CubeProgrammer, select the following External Loader:MT25TL01G_STM32H750B-DISCO.stldr> C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer\bin\ExternalLoader> The Page Size is 0x1000, but according to the Datasheet, I believe the correct value should be 0x100.2. In the Erasing & Programming menu, select Full chip erase.3. Hi,I have two batch of boards with STM32F437 controllers.Batch1: It takes the controller 1.2seconds to come upBatch2: It takes the controller 200msec to come upBoth the hardware and the firmware are same.In the Batch1, when the power up is done it takes 1.2second, but when I press hard-reset switch it takes only 200ms to come up. But in Batch2, it takes 200ms with power cycle or with hard reset.By toggling a gpio pin for execution of every function, we got to the point where the delay is happening. It was in the image_validation() function in the bootloader code. Here the function does a CRC check using a while loop, that is taking 970ms in batch1 boards and 120ms in batch2 board. But how can a purely software operation causes this delay?! Apart from the bootup speed, all the other functionality is working as intended.We have already thoroughly analyzed the BOM, there to no difference that was seen.The only difference I can see is that the label imprinted on the STM32 controller i

Hello,I would like to make the system below using stm32mp157.- System Description -1. 100Mbps Full-Duplex Ethernet2. Cortex-A7 receives and transmits data from Ethernet on the PC. 3. Cortex-A7 calculates Ethernet data and sends the result to Cortex-M4.4. Cortex-M4 controls peripheral(SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO) using DMA and interrupt  Can I implement a program like the above??I've usually used F4 series or L4 series, so I don't know about MPU lines.If the program is implementable, please let me know what I need to know.If the program cannot be implemented, please recommend MCU or method that can be implemented.

Using STM32G030C8Tx and I'm having a difficult time trying to erase flash.  The function returns with no error, and stepping through appears to work.  But the flash is not erased (viewing through CubeIDE memory explorer, and writes fail with `FLASH_SR_PGSERR`).  Here's the code: #define APP_START_PAGE (10) // Corresponds to 0x0800_4800, each page is 2kb #define NUMBER_OF_PAGES_TO_ERASE (22) uint32_t PageError; FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef flashErase_handle; static uint8_t execute_flash_erase(void) { HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_OK; PageError = 0; // Configure the flash erase handle with the provided parameters flashErase_handle.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_PAGES; flashErase_handle.Page = APP_START_PAGE; flashErase_handle.NbPages = NUMBER_OF_PAGES_TO_ERASE; flashErase_handle.Banks = FLASH_BANK_1; if (HAL_FLASH_Unlock() == HAL_OK) { status = HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&flashErase_handle, &PageError); } else { status = HAL_ERROR; } HAL_FLASH_Lock();

Hello. I have made a custom project with STM32H735IGT. I use Touchgfx. I am using external flash and external RAM. The problem is when I place the framebuffer in external RAM. Some green pixels appear as in image 1. When I place the framebuffer in internal RAM, the image is painted well. I am using IS66WVH16M8DBLL-100B1LI RAM. I attached hardware configuration, the RAM is OCTOSPI2.  video of the problem and .ioc: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1I96eqnh-5-xjDEKxfkxy-vVqeLvuVDY3?usp=sharingWhere is the problem?

I have two SPI buses activated SPI1 (flash memory) and SPI3 (nrf24l01) on my STM32F407. Separately, they work fine. But, if I transfer something via SPI1, SPI3 read from the register always returns 0 (and in DR register for SPI3 is also 0, BUT sometimes it has value 3 (though has to be 46)). And I don't know where to look and dig dipper. Let me know if you need additional code or screenshots.

The memory map shown on page 76 of the reference manual for the stm32f76xxx shows the following figure:I believe the addresses in blocks 5...6 are not correct and that it should be as follows:

Hello everyone,I am an avid petalinux user. I know that STM32MP1 has had a big place in the market for many years. But I've never had to use it before. I want to use this in a project right now. And I'm a little confused about where to start. I have a few questions; 1) What exactly is openstLinux? Is it something like petalinux distribution? 2) Let's say I compile an stm32mp1 project with yocto. I couldn't find any information about how to import the resulting image files into cubeide? 3) Which of the dtb files created with cubemx should I use? 4) When I select cubeide and the mp1 family from the project opening and say "setup openstlinux", I get a manifest version error. How can I fix this? Thank you very much in advance. Kind regards

Hi, where can I find the S2-LP chip library and examples on C. Also does STM provides any protocols with open code for frequency hopping and mesh based on sub-1 GHz external radio chip?  I've found just sw package with gui to configure radio S2-LP and only for windows. I'm also happy to read any other open source solutions with frequency hopping and mesh support if you can recommend for me. Thanks in advance

Hello, I am using a P-NUCLEO STM32WB Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 Nucleo Pack including a USB dongle.While trying to update the FUS of the USB Dongle to set up a Thread network, I encountered several errors.Initially, I was able to connect in DFU mode, but after attempting the update, Windows no longer detected the USB dongle.I then used the ST-Link to try to perform the update, but encountered these errors:You can also find some informations related to the dongle.Is it still possible to recover the USB dongle? Any help would be appreciated,

Hi,I am building a product where I have to store calibration data and retain it even after power off.I am using the STM32H745ZiT6 and would like to use its flash to read/write data. As I have setup communication between the two cores I have the current setup on the MPU:void MPU_Config(void){MPU_Region_InitTypeDef MPU_InitStruct = {0};/* Disables the MPU */HAL_MPU_Disable();/** Initializes and configures the Region and the memory to be protected*/MPU_InitStruct.Enable = MPU_REGION_ENABLE;MPU_InitStruct.Number = MPU_REGION_NUMBER0;MPU_InitStruct.BaseAddress = 0x38000000;MPU_InitStruct.Size = MPU_REGION_SIZE_64KB;MPU_InitStruct.SubRegionDisable = 0x0;MPU_InitStruct.TypeExtField = MPU_TEX_LEVEL0;MPU_InitStruct.AccessPermission = MPU_REGION_FULL_ACCESS;MPU_InitStruct.DisableExec = MPU_INSTRUCTION_ACCESS_ENABLE;MPU_InitStruct.IsShareable = MPU_ACCESS_SHAREABLE;MPU_InitStruct.IsCacheable = MPU_ACCESS_NOT_CACHEABLE;MPU_InitStruct.IsBufferable = MPU_ACCESS_NOT_BUFFERABLE;HAL_MPU_Confi

May I use the onboard debugger on the SPC582B-DIS Discovery board to download debugging programs for the AEK-MOT-MR200G1 development board? Can you tell me which specific pins need to be connected? As shown in the following picture!

I’m experiencing an issue while developing firmware on a STM32L431CCU6 connected to: Xbee module (XB3-24Z8CM-J) via UART1RS485 driver (ST1480ABDR_ Via UART2 HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(USART1_IRQn, 0, 0); HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(USART1_IRQn); HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(USART3_IRQn, 2, 0); HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(USART3_IRQn); The communication to the xbee works perfectly fine until the RS485 interface is polled at which point nothing is received via UART1 (no interrupt recorded), I’ve checked the interrupt priorities and UART1 has a higher priority.Each interface works on its own but when attempting to use the interfaces together it seems to have a conflict somewhere. Would you have any suggestion/recommendations? Appreciate any help and thanks in advance.   if(huart == &huart1) { Receive_test2(Rx_byte);//stores received byte into an array Uart_Receive_raw(&huart1,0,1);//wait another byte TIM15_reset_count();//timer overflows if no further bytes received

Hi, If you are getting this kind of error when you try to run your OpenOCD in AutoDevKit Studio 2.2.1: Then most probably you have not updated the search path of the config files. From main AutoDevKit menu, select Run > Debug Configurations   In the new window, select “GDB OpenOCD Debugging” drop down and the “SPC582Bxx_RLA AutoDevKit Studio generic” entry. On the right hand-side, please choose the tab “Debugger”     The issue is in the “Config options” field. The path present should be identical to your installation path. If you did not change anything from the installation default, the correct path should be:   C:\AutoDevKitStudio-2.2.1\openocd\scripts   If you installed under other path, please put the correct installation path. Repeat the same procedure for all the generic AutoDevKit Studio per type of microcontroller. To double check, you can look at the installation file and check for the missing .cfg file: In standard case, the installation path is

Hello, We've been developing a tank level monitoring system using these sensors: VL53L4CD (18° FoV)VL53L3CX (25° FoV, multitarget)VL53L4CX (18° FoV, multiobject, multitarget) First question is the definitions and distinctions between the terms multizone, multitarget, and multiobject. We couldn't get a clear information about these on the datasheets.Secondly, we are just using example libraries to get measurements. We are still discovering how to filter the readings that are not within the central zone. We've made a spreadsheet that we'll be happy to share privately. It shows the minimum tank diameter and the maximum tank depth that won't cause signal bouncing around the inner walls.Thank you.

I am trying to use second half of OCTOSPI pins in single memory mode by setting MSEL bit for QUAD SPI communication with Flash memory. Even though i set the MSEL bit to send the data through 7 to 4 pins, still data is going through the 3 to 0 pin only. Am i missing something in configuration? Please see the below code for your reference.  uint8_tXSPI_WriteEnable_IO_7_4(void) {XSPI_RegularCmdTypeDef sCommand;XSPI_AutoPollingTypeDef sConfig; /* Enable write operations ------------------------------------------ */sCommand.OperationType = HAL_XSPI_OPTYPE_COMMON_CFG;sCommand.IOSelect = HAL_XSPI_SELECT_IO_7_4;sCommand.Instruction = WRITE_ENABLE_CMD;sCommand.InstructionMode = HAL_XSPI_INSTRUCTION_1_LINE;sCommand.InstructionWidth = HAL_XSPI_INSTRUCTION_8_BITS;sCommand.InstructionDTRMode = HAL_XSPI_INSTRUCTION_DTR_DISABLE;sCommand.Address = HAL_XSPI_ADDRESS_NONE;sCommand.AddressMode = HAL_XSPI_ADDRESS_NONE;sCommand.AddressWidth = HAL_XSPI_ADDRESS_24_BITS;sCommand.AddressDTRMode =

Hi, my program required a large amount of RAM memory, how can i know which external memory i can choose? and which peripheral is dedicated for this?

Hi There,I have searched a lot about the  HAL_I2C_Mem_Write_DMA problem and seems like i have not found anywhere else this issue has been solved.Can anyone contribute if someone has solved it. Thanks

Hi I am working on a project using stwlc38 and stwbc86.They charge well, but the charging distance is an issue.I need it to be able to charge at a distance of around 2.5T, but when I go beyond 2T it won't charge.So, I put a Tx coil like the one I used on a ready-made Tx module and tested it, and it charges up to 2.5T.What should I improve to increase the charging distance?Rx, Tx, Coil, or any method, please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!The product used is the 5W product

Hi, I'm having issues on our custom board jumping to the system memory bootrom.Likely i have a software issue but would like to clarify the system memory address for the bootloader. This is usually listed in AN2606 but there is no explicit mention of the STM32h7b0.https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/cd00167594-stm32-microcontroller-system-memory-boot-mode-stmicroelectronics.pdfI've been assuming that it is the same as the STM32h7b3 as its just a low flash varient, But as I'm facing issues it would be good to confirm.Tim

I'm a beginner at STM processor, and I'm trying programming software interrupt using GPIO port as EXTI line at STM32L4R5QI(STM32L4+ series) processor.Then, I was wondering when I was reading the reference manual of STM32L4+ series.  It seems that the EXTI interrupt is OR condition between the hardware interrupt signal and software interrupt signal as below:In addition, for using EXTI line, I configured the GPIO port as EXTI and configured GPIO mode at STM32CubeMX as below:In other words, I concern that the software interrupt might be occurred by unintentional hardware signal(ex. noise) at configured GPIO-EXTI pin.Therefore, I want to take a countermeasure to my concern.  In detail, I think I have to become disable the "Falling trigger selection register"(EXTI_FTSR) and the "Rising trigger selection register"(EXTI_RTSR) manually, but I don't know my idea is correct because there is no configuration at STM32CubeMX.  ("manually" means setting those register "disable" in my

I've followed some answers from a post here:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/57283327/how-to-change-the-uart-baud-rate-after-running-on-stm32-boardBut still can't seem to get the baud rate to change.
