Hi allI have successfully implemented a single vl53l0x sensor, but wish to add more. I found the "AN4846 Application note Using multiple VL53L0X in a single design" documentation:https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/application_note/group0/0e/0a/96/1b/82/19/4f/c2/DM00280486/files/DM00280486.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00280486.pdfUnder "VL53L0X API management" it specifies:In vl53L0x_platform.h API file set VL53L0x_SINGLE_DEVICE_DRIVER macro to 0 so that API implementation will be automatically adapted to a multi-device context. But I cannot find anything called "VL53L0x_SINGLE_DEVICE_DRIVER" in the vl53L0x_platform.h file.Where can I find it? Or has the files updated without the documentation being updated? If so should this step just be skipped?

Hello,I'm working with an STM32U5 custom board.I use the LPUART1 to read input with an interrupt as shown below and to write it back on the same LPUART1 :  void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin (GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_8); HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(huart, (uint8_t *)aRxBuffer, 10); HAL_UART_Receive_IT(huart, (uint8_t *)aRxBuffer, 10); } If I execute the code above, the interrupt is fired only once. I can read text back on my terminal but I never gets executed again.

HiI am trying to set up a project based on FP-SNS-ALLMEMS1.When i set up a project based on STM32L476 Nucleo, I cant find the pack neither under "select components" nor under "manage software packs". see belowWhy??

HelloThe Nucleo/Dongle pair did not do the demo.So downloaded and updated them with P2Pserver and Client hex files.Still didn't work.Am now trying to upgrade the FUS in the dongle from .53 to current using stm32wb5x_FUS_fw_for_fus_0_5_3.bin, using 0x080EC000 as listed in Release notes, and it fails.10:39:11 : Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0:10:39:11 : Operation exceeds memory limits10:39:11 : failed to erase memoryDongle has the STM32WB55CGU6 MCU.Looks like the start address is wrong, but what should it be and where do I find this info.ThanksGiri

Hi st team, I am using the STM32MP135f-DK board and I want to enable CANFD drivers. First I checked if the CAN drivers are enabled in menuconfig using:  bitbake virtual/kernel -c menuconfig (everything has been selected) Then I went to ~/STM32MPU_workspace/STM32MP1-Ecosystem-v5.0.0/Distribution-Package/build-openstlinuxweston-stm32mp1/tmp-glibc/work-shared/stm32mp1/kernel-source/arch/arm/boot and modified the files as follows: stm32mp13-pinctrl.dtsi (configured the pins PG1 (pin 16 CN8) for TX and PG3 (pin 18 CN8) for RX) fdcan2_pins_mx: fdcan2_mx-0 { pins1 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('G', 1, AF9)>; /* FDCAN2_TX */ bias-disable; drive-push-pull; slew-rate = <0>; }; pins2 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('G', 3, AF9)>; /* FDCAN2_RX */ bias-disable; };};fdcan2_sleep_pins_mx: fdcan2_sleep_mx-0 { pins { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('G', 1, ANALOG)>, /* FDCAN2_TX */ <STM32_PINMUX('G', 3, ANALOG)>; /* FDCAN2_RX */ };}; tm32mp135f-dk.dts added: &m_can2{ pinctrl-names = "

I am attempting to install the appropriate software packages so I can use my STM32H723ZG. However the 1.11.2 file cannot be unzipped.  The IDE reported the error and I confirmed it by downloading the package and attempting to unzip it manually. Please help me remedy this as soon as possible.  Maybe a valid zip file needs to be uploaded?

Hello team, I am trying to connect external NAND flash with STM32H753ZIT6. my concern is with respect to FMC_ALE and FMC_CLE pins as, in Pin no. 80 and 81 these are multiplexed with address lines whereas pin no 98 and 99 can also be used as FMC_ALE and FMC_CLE. i just need to confirm both the pins are same or is there any difference in these pins?   Thanks Nikhil

i'm referring to the STM32H7S78-DK which specifically mounts the new STM32H7S7L8 mcu there is the possibility of driving a 1280x400 rgb 888 or RGB 565 tft display using a double frame buffer with reasonable performance  we can carry out an example (FPS) calculation using the PSRAM installed on the board for the frame buffer or identifying any unsolvable limit  how much processor time should I expect to lose in the GUI

I am developing an application based on a STM32WB35CE and have noticed that the code generated by STM32CubeMX limits available Flash to 256k and available SRAM to 32k (the WB35CE has 512k and 96k, respectively). I have flashed the stm32wb3x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin copro binary, so not having all memory available is expected.according to AN5451 I should have 363k of Flash and 57k of SRAM (across the 3 SRAM banks) available for my application. How can I use these?

Hello everyone, I have a board.STM32F429I DISCO1, I want to read, say, two bytes of parallel data from port A{15:0}, into the DMA buffer, every time a rising edge of some signal comes to the microcontroller from the outside. How exactly can this be implemented ?Can I , Configure DMA to transfer data from the GPIO port to a memory buffer ?because I dont see that , in CubeMX may support direct GPIO to memory transfer for this use case ?but can I manually handle this , ? for example #define BUFFER_SIZE 1uint16_t dma_buffer[BUFFER_SIZE];void MX_DMA_Init(void) {....................................................DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma;hdma.Instance = DMA1_Stream0;hdma.Init.Channel = DMA_CHANNEL_0;hdma.Init.Direction = DMA_PERIPH_TO_MEMORY;   ????????????????????????hdma.Init.PeriphInc = DMA_PINC_DISABLE;hdma.Init.MemInc = DMA_MINC_ENABLE;hdma.Init.PeriphDataAlignment = DMA_PDATAALIGN_HALFWORD;..................................................................}.............

I am facing the problem of data integrity, the logic is something as shown below i am taking the CAN rx data from the interrupt and processing in while loop.   uint8_t g_candata_u8=0; int main(void) { Initilializations(); while() { if(CanMessageReceived == TRUE) { LCDDisplay(g_candata_u8); } } void CanRxInterrupt() { g_candata_u8 = RxBuffer[0]; }   The problem i am facing is the g_candata_u8 is getting corrupted. The value g_candata_u8 which is acclerator pedal percentage from 0 - 100% received from vehicle shall be less than 100, but the value displayed on the LCD is sometimes shows greater than 200, most of the time it is less than 100 and as expected.  I am suspecting the above method of code implementation is a problem. What is the best method to process the rx data?

Hi Sir. Madam,For MB1791 Development Broad, there are 3 Type of design:MB1791-HighBand_HighPowerMB1791-HighBand_LowPowerMB1791-LowBand_HighPowerBut I doubt the BOM given, the part Description, Value and Manufacture Part Number are not tally for the Location: C8, C9, C26, C31:.Pls advise the correct value for MB1791-HighBand_HighPower.Thanks.

Hello AllCurrent Device setup:-NUCLEO-G071RB Eval boardSTM32CubeMX settings please find the attached screenshots.I'm trying to generate PWM signal using [ TIM3 channel 3] in NUCLEO-G071RB Eval board.Time period is 28 microseconds and width are 3 microseconds. As you can see in the below [image 1 ]only the first pulse is different or corrupted, which gives 32 microseconds time period and width are 7 microseconds .From the second pulse , we are able to get the expected pulse as shown below [image 2] Time period is 28 microseconds and width are 3 microseconds.Same behaviour is observed in STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.6.0 package code, given by STM32 Timer PWM output example code. Please provide the solution to resolve this issue. Image 1:- Image 2:-

I am trying to interface DAC for the STM32 MP157D-DK1 board I have. I am just curious does the board even support DAC. I dont see any mention of that in the datasheet. That is the only option that I can select when I do DAC Enable for M4 Cube in cube programmer. In NVIC settings only option is EXTI line 9 interrupt available for me to select.

Hello everyone,I am working on a STM32WB5MMDK. I already posted a question about the BSP example.I have few other questions about it.I wanted to replace the Button 1 by the Button 2 so I changed it in the main file (even the CallBack). I checked the other files and the configuration was the same for the two buttons, so i didn't think i should change anything, but it doesn't work. Moreover, I also wanted to test the Humidity and Pressure Sensors (I think it is included with the Temperature Sensor since it is written as a comment), but I can't make them work (i used the same program as the one for the temperature test and just change the parameters). So, I wanted to know if someone knew how to fix those issues but mostly if there were ressources to help understand the configuration (i prefer not to use a .ioc) because i don't really find the answers to my questions online. Thank you,Nour

Hello, I am using a Nucleo 144 F767zi Board.  I am try to get any command on the Virt COM Console. But I failed always. I tried very lot things from on youtube, on the Forum ... but I always failed.I see in the documentation um1974-stm32-nucleo144-boards-mb1137-stmicroelectronics.pdf6.9 USART communicationI see further that all pins are enabled by default. From my actual understanding, this means that the COM Port is not active because SB4 and SB7 are "ON" too?Is this correct? If this is true and I have to set SB4/SB7 off. How do I set SB4 and SB7 to OFF. I did found anything "how to change the state of a SB". Thanks for any hint to get the Console running. thanksbest regardsCarsten

I'm trying to use the STM32H563 HASH peripheral to speed up sha256 calculations. The examples all use HAL_HASH_Start() to write the entire message at once. However, I'd like to feed chunks of data to the peripheral. The OEMiROT mbedtls sha256_alt driver uses the same approach:STM32CubeH5/Projects/NUCLEO-H563ZI/Applications/ROT/OEMiROT_Boot/Src/sha256_alt.cHowever, I notice that this driver accumulates data in a buffer, then feeds the data chunk by chunk. The first chunk is 68 bytes in size, subsequent chunks are 64 bytes. My questions are:-do we really have to feed data in chunks? Reading the reference manual, it seems that data can be fed one 32bit word at a time?-why would the first chunk be 68 bytes instead of 64? Is this perhaps an optimalisation causing each feed (including the very first one) to start the intermediate digest calculation (because each first word of a new block will trigger the calculation)? Or is there more to it?

Hi, I have a STEVAL-WBC2TX50 Evaluation Board, and I am having issue with input power. Whenever I supply Vin to the board, it takes a lot of current at low Vin. Can you help me solving this problem? Thank you!

STM32CubeIDE v1.15.1Git v2.45.1.windows.1Windows 11 The software project includes the pre-build command,"git log --pretty=format:'%H' -n 1 > git_hash.h" (format string simplified for this post)On a fresh install on a new PC the following error prevents building the project,"fatal: bad object HEAD" Building on other computers doesn't produce this error.  On this computer, git works from the command line, including copying the string from the pre-build settings into the Command Shell Console in STM32CubeIDE.  Running STM32CubeIDE as administrator doesn't change behavior. The command 'where git' returns the same path in both cmd.exe and STM32CubeIDE console.  All git operations function normally from both the command line and a GUI tool (GitExtensions). Thoughts on the source of the git error?Could STM32CubeIDE be using a different git.exe than is mapped to 'git' in the system? Thanks!

I need to determine if the interrupts are enabled at one point of my code but I have not been able to find any reference for the STM32G474.  It doesn't look like there is a PRIMASK register which is mentions in another post.I know how do enable and disable the global interrupts: __enable_irq() and __disable_irq(),  but I don't know how to determine if the are enabled. How can I tell if the global interrupts are enabled?

Hi,Many of the MuRata CMWX1ZZABZ variant support "Opne MCU" such as the -078 variant; meaning the STM32 chip is programmable. Appearently some do not have the "Open MCU" feature even though they use an STM32. Was hoping someone could clear why this is the case or at least provide which variant allow programming via ST CUBE MX etc.-Thanks

I'm new to the ST development Environment and it is my first time to be using embedded systems. My aim is to make a project of one master that communicate with multiple slaves. I have already tried the ping pong example with 2 B-L072Z-LRWAN1 boards and it works fine. my problem is that i want to assign one board to be a transmitter only and the other boards receive only. can anyone help regarding this case keeping in mind that I am new to this field.

Hi, how long do you recommend that we keep our development project's in-sync with the IOC file used to generate them? Setup:MyNewDemo.ioc is used to create a demo monitoring the UART that responds to to toggle requests for its GPIO Scenario #1:Peripheral Updates - a month down later the uart baud rate needs updated to a new valueScenario #2:Peripheral Additions - next year a watchdog is added for safetyScenario #3:Software Additions - eventually, after the demo is established our team decides to add CanOpen to this demoScenario #3:Project Updates - e.g. Trace and Debug, where the project's Debug interface is changed Challenge:I typically use the IOC for project creation and then retire itThere have been requests in my team to 'keep the IOC live'; through the development stages and work Question:What is ST's lifetime for IOC file's in new project development?

Hi,What are the Vcore volage levels for the STM32H562 as applied by the VOS configuration bits? Datasheet -VOS0-3 = [1.35, 1.20, 1.10, 1.00] VSource - VOS0-3 = [1.2, 1.1, 1.0, 0.9] V The discrepancy lies in some outdated comments I think; maybe the values in source linked above (lines 326-347) are just an artifact that needs updated Are the datasheet values in Table 20 of this datasheet correct?
