I am using an STM32G030C8T6.I have 10 boards built from the same PCB design and BOM. All boards use the same firmware.8 boards work correctly, but 2 boards show abnormal ADC readings.ADC channels used: PA1 = ADC_IN1 PA5 = ADC_IN5 PA6 = ADC_IN6 PB0 = ADC_IN8 PB1 = ADC_IN9 PB2 = ADC_IN10 VREFINT ADC configuration: 12-bit resolution Continuous conversion enabled Scan conversion enabled DMA circular mode Sampling time = 160.5 cycles VREFINT included in the scan sequence Problem:On the failing boards, when the battery is connected, some ADC channels become 4095.Example:LOAD_I_ADC = 4095PV_A_ADC = 4095BAT_A_ADC = 4095VREFINT_ADC = 4095Other channels still show valid values.Measured VDDA: Battery disconnected: 3.32V Battery connected: 3.33V To isolate the issue, I created a separate test project using only the following: ADC_IN9 (PB1) VREFINT Results with battery disconnected:adcBuf[0] = 1415adcBuf[1] = 1518These values appear normal.I then created another test proje

I’m setting up a new project in STM32CubeMX for an STM32L073RZ using the internal LCD controller in 1/3 bias mode.According to the STM32L0 reference manual (RM0367), the LCD voltage rails should be configured as:PB12 - VLCDrail1PB2 - VLCDrail2 However, in STM32CubeMX, the GPIO configuration only allows:PB12 - VLCDrail2PB2 - VLCDrail2There does not appear to be any option to configure either pin as VLCDrail1.Am I misunderstanding the LCD rail configuration for 1/3 bias mode on STM32L073RZ, or is this a limitation/bug in STM32CubeMX?Thank you!

The STM32G474RE support 3 FDCAN and that fit my design well.  When I checked the nucleo board, the firmware does not have any CAN example.  I searched the ST website, the user, programmer and reference manual do not have any information on the registers and their memory map information.  Although I found “STM32 FDCAN running at 8 Mb/s on Nucleo boards” helpful, it does not give me enough information of the FDCAN 2 & 3’s interrupt vector location, calls, setup and etc.  I need a example template to set up my FDCAN.  Where can I find that?

Hello Friends,I am looking for MCU. Kindly suggest. Below are the minimum requirementsNeed two SPI.  Need to read data of two sensors via SPI simultaneosly & continously. Need one UART  Need smallest possible foot print.  WLCSP12/TSSOP20/UFQFPN20 Do not want to use external cyrstal for clock. Want to use internal clock Robust for shock, vibration.  Pricing is no issue.Kindly suggest..

Hello ST Team, We are evaluating the STM32H747BIT6 in the LQFP208 package for our application. To verify the feasibility of our design, we created a CubeMX project and configured the required peripherals, including LTDC RGB888 (24-bit), FMC SDRAM (32-bit), USB FS, I2C1/I2C2/I2C3, USART1/USART3, SPI1 and TIM PWM outputs. While configuring the project, CubeMX allowed us to assign all the required signals, and all pins are shown in green. We also checked the LTDC and FMC SDRAM signals and found that they are assigned to unique pins with no visible pin conflicts in the pinout view. Could you also review the attached .ioc file and confirm whether there are any pin conflicts that we may have overlooked? However, CubeMX displays the following warning on the FMC peripheral"Partly disabled conflict with:FMC (SDRAM1): Clock and chip enable SDCKE0 + SDNE0 and/orLTDC: Display Type RGB888 (24 bits)". Could you please help us understand what this warning indicates and why CubeMX is reporting it? We

Split from this post.I’ve just tried testing the out FIFO depth.The STM32F427 is operating at 179.8MHz.The DMA2D is configured for memory-to-memory transfers (so only the out FIFO is used - this is how I intend to configure the peripheral to drive the DAC).The DMA2D dead time is configured for the maximum value (255), which allows one AHB transfer to the DMA2D every 1.4 microseconds.The timer generating the NWAIT signal is held low for several hundred microseconds after the DMA2D is enabled and then generates NWAIT pulses that allow the FMC to write a value every 8 HCLK cycles (every 44.45ns).This is the resulting output on the FMC NWE signal, with the controlling NWAIT signal (from the timer) also shown: This suggests the FIFO depth is 48 (16-bit) words.But what happens next raises another question.  This screenshot shows the first burst of 48 writes to the FMC, followed by the next 3 bursts:The subsequent bursts are only 16 writes long, and the time between them (the first interval i

Currently, I am using the STM32F412RGT6 64-pin package to drive an 8-bit MCU interface screen. However, I am unsure if this MCU supports FSMC.

What are the sizes and configurations of the FIFOs (foreground, background, and out) on the STM32F427 DMA2D (Chrom-Art)?

  When I was developing the stm32u575, I needed to set the threshold for the bor (power-on reset). I wanted the device to reset when the voltage was below a certain level. While configuring the bor threshold for the stm32u575, I followed the configuration process of the stm32f405, but it didn't work. The program got stuck at HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock(). Why did this happen? What was the problem? FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef OBInit; HAL_FLASHEx_OBGetConfig(&OBInit); OBInit.USERType = OB_USER_BOR_LEV; OBInit.USERConfig = OB_BOR_LEVEL_1; HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock(); HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&OBInit); HAL_FLASH_OB_Launch(); HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock();

I’m reading the getting started manual of STM32MP257 (AN5489) and it displays that there are internal pull-ups on CMD and D0, but not CK.Also there is a confusion if the dashed lines means they have internal pull-ups as well.My question is:If CMD, D0, D1, D2 and D3 have internal pull-ups. Why does the STM32MP257F-DK board have external pull-ups?Can I skip these external pull-ups? According to the datasheet of STM32MP257C/F (DS14284 - Rev 5), the CK, CMD and D0 MUST be high at initialisation of the BootROM.

For example, in this post:I use this link to a specific post in another thread:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-software/stm32cubemx-file-for-the-stm32h747i-disco-usb-webcam-example/m-p/745530/highlight/true#M57279But that doesn’t work - it gets directed to https://community.st.com/#M57279 - which just shows the “home” page of the new community. If I remove the /highlight/true#M57279 part, it seems to work.

Hi,I’m setting up a bash script (under Ubuntu Linux) to automate STM32H563 provisioning for my application using the command-line version of STM32 Cube Programmer. As part of this script, I’m setting it up to automatically perform Full Regression prior to new provisioning if the board is already provisioned. (This is being used for testing and software development, so I am likely to need to do this.)The help text tells me that I can use the “key”, “cert” and “per” arguments on the command line, along with debugauth=1, to specify paths to the key, certificate and requested permission to request debug authentication. However, the application seems to ignore these arguments completely and always asks for them to be entered in the console, so I can’t perform a scripted Full Regression as should be possible.I tried working around this by piping the output of a bash printf command into the application instead. Oddly, this seems to work for passing in the key and certificate but the selection

I m quite negatively surprised that suddenly (Ctrl+Space) stoped proposing any functions, as it is shown below:orI didn't change any settings, and suddenly it stopped working. That is why I ve searched for any similar issues like mine on the forum and I ve found:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/stm32cubeide-auto-complete-ctrl-space-is-not-working/td-p/342759orhttps://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/why-does-the-index-not-work-and-how-to-make-it-work/td-p/269134and none of these solutions worked for me..I ve also tried to revuild the C/C++ indexer or just simply to create a new project but still no changes...

I would like a “version control” tag in the forum.Sometimes there are questions related to version control such as generated code/projects not being git friendly or users need help with setting up a gitignore.

Example here: So it invites me to “edit tags”.It even lets me add more tags:But, when I press ‘Save’, it refuses:

Hello,I am ready to use STM32C531 in project. Right now, I am using Keil MDK V5.29 and it does not support this micro. Can anybody help to tell me which Keil version support this micro? If I do not use Keil, does any other IDE/Compiler support this micro develop?  Thanks,

Hi all! Thank you for taking time to assist me. I am attempting to make a composite USB Device on the NUCLEO-C562RE. I found the Middleware USBX examples and the core drivers exist in my toolchain at: STM32CubeC5/middleware/usbx However, I cannot seem to find the middleware configuration for USBX in STM32CubeMX2. My pack manager in the STM32CubeMX2 is set to this default value: "cube.packManager.cmsisPackRepositories": ["https://developer.st.com/st-pack-server/api/v1/pidx/STMicroelectronics.pidx"] Please let me know if I have missed anything or if you need further information from me to figure out the root issue. The examples, linked above, clearly auto generated the USBX files using the MX2 software, but I could not find the documentation that allowed me to generate those files. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me with this.   EDIT: I saw this forum that says support isn't out until Q3. Does that mean I have to write the generated cod
