I have been trying to download STM32CubeIDE for Windows, but the download never starts. Someone can help me with this issue?

Hi,I wanted to give Visual Studio Code a try and converted an existing STM32CubeIDE project. In the original project, the main.c (in Core/Src directory) file was compiled using g++, since it has some C++ content. However, VS Code invokes gcc, and therefore, build is not successful. How can I change this? One other thing, I noticed when converting the project, all source files are copied to the new location, but the .ioc file is not. Is this intended behaviour?

I started with the MC workbench and installed X-Cube-MCSDK Version 6.4.2. After installation the MC Workbench is opened, but the dialog is complete empty (except the caption). The behaviour is the same if i start the workbench via the desktop icon or as administrator.

Are there any Dual Core LoRaWAN Application examples for the STM32WL55CC that use the STM32Cube FW WL V1.5.0 (LBM) libraries?  If  there aren’t, will this be supported in the future? Thanks,Nick

i've just installed all necessary requirements for the STM32 vscode extension however it doesn't seem to launch cube mx or mcu finder when i click launch from vscode. not sure if its incorrect paths or permission issues?please see the screenshot for the path settings

I’ve started from the LWIP TCP echo server with FreeRTOS example from ST and have made a *.ioc2 file to support that example. The issue is that I’m starting from the NUCLEO-C5A3ZG (which I’ve configured the *.ioc2 project), but intend to use a STM32C593 in my final product. My understanding was that STM32CubeMX would allow switching microcontrollers, but keeping the similar configuration settings (e.g. LWIP, FreeRTOS, etc.). I’d like to have the project required configuration settings managed in a tool like CubeMX2, but this will not be possible/feasible if I can’t make changes without having to start completely from scratch every time we make a change. Is there a setting somewhere that I’ve missed to allow switching processors? Is this a planned feature that may not yet be released? Thanks in advance.

Hi,We are using the ST25R3920B NFC reader IC along with the NXP S32K312 MCU running an AUTOSAR OS for NFC card detection. We have observed that, after the NFC wake-up event, the NFC initialization and polling sequence takes approximately 300 ms before a card is detected. This startup time is longer than expected and is impacting our application requirements.Could you please suggest any configuration changes, RFAL optimizations, or best practices to reduce the NFC initialization and polling time? If there are any recommended settings for use with an AUTOSAR-based system or the ST25R3920B that can help improve startup performance, we would greatly appreciate your guidance. Thanks,Anitha

I am doing g3-PLC test by connecting two board of EVLKST8500GH-2  according to ST G3-Hybrid PLC&RF GUI Quick start guide, but i am not clear test envirionment 1) COM port of PC is connected with ST8500GH-MB or  NUCLEO-G070RB, when i connect with  NUCLEO-G070RB port is recognized but when i connect with ST8500GH-MB, port is not recognized in the PC.   2) I am using 30V(AC) power for Power line because " ST8500 Hybrid PLC&RF Connectivity Development Kit UserManual"  Safety precautions guide of " The kit is intended for use on extra low voltage (ELV): <50 V AC, <75 V DC." but i am not clear this 30V(AC) is enough for PLC. i want to know the level of Power   3) I want to know power line connection between two board EVLKST8500GH-2. serial or pallel ?

Dear ST Support Team,I am using the STM32MP157F-DK2 evaluation board with OpenSTLinux (Linux kernel 5.15).I am interfacing a Telit LE910C1-IN LTE modem through the USB Host interface. The modem is successfully detected by lsusb (VID:PID 1bc7:1201), and dmesg confirms successful USB enumeration. However, no /dev/ttyUSB* devices are created, preventing AT command communication.I also verified that the kernel configuration shows:# CONFIG_USB_SERIAL is not setCould you please provide the recommended procedure to enable USB modem support for the Telit LE910 on STM32MP157F-DK2? Specifically, I would like to know the required kernel configuration, drivers, packages, or any additional Device Tree or software changes needed to create the /dev/ttyUSB* interfaces.Below is relevant screenshot for reference.Thank you.

Dear STMicroelectronics Support,In our application, the STM32H7B3I-DK board is used in a "shield" configuration: it is mounted on a carrier/daughter board(PHOTO 2) (via the Arduino connectors CN19/CN20/CN10/CN11) which supplies its power. The daughter board therefore injects a 5V voltage directly onto CN19, pin 1 (5V_VIN), without going through a USB supply or through the standard VIN input of the kit.Power configuration5 V is applied to CN19, pin 1 (5V_VIN). JP1 is configured in the 5V_VIN position. VIN (CN19, pin 8) is left unconnected.MeasurementsVoltage before R114 (1 kΩ): 5.0 V Voltage after R114: 1.6 VThis corresponds to a voltage drop of approximately 3.4 V across R114, which indicates a current of about 3.4 mA flowing through the resistor.I would like to better understand whether this behavior is expected and the purpose of R114 in this circuit.Could you please clarify the following points? Is this voltage drop across R114 normal when powering the board through 5V_VIN? What is

Hi, I am planning to use IMU ASM330LHB for my project and test the sensor functionality using board STEVAL-MKI236A.I want to know whether I can plug STEVAL-MKI236A into the DIL24 connector of the SensorTile.Box PRO and test the functionality using SensortTile.box smartphone app ST BLE Sensorhttps://community.st.com/mems-and-sensors-62/getting-started-with-sensortile-box-192I want display the below values as mentioned on the link.Is it possible? Thanks,Sucheta

Good day,We are using a composite USBX device class combining CDC and MSC over USB Full Speed, built on X_CUBE_AZRTOS-H7 version 3.3.0 (USBX 6.4). During testing we discovered that a certain Windows PC sends a MODE SELECT(10) command (opcode 0x55) and causes an endpoint stall. After a rather long debugging session, it was found that the USBX source _ux_device_class_storage_mode_select() is explicitly not implemented — it stalls the OUT endpoint, UX_FUNCTION_NOT_SUPPORTED (which is not checked in the thread) and never recovers:The MODE SELECT(6) SCSI command is not even implemented and the storage thread falls through to the default case, also triggering a endpoint stall. So:- Are there any plans to implement these MODE SELECT(6/10) commands properly in a future USBX release?- Does anyone already have a workaround for this?- Wouldn't it be cleaner to reply with an ILLEGAL REQUEST instead of stalling the endpoint?System details:- MCU: STM32H7- USBX version: 6.4 (X_CUBE_AZRTOS-H7 3.3.

When using the FDCAN peripheral on a STM32H743 or a STM32H753 and the message filters are setup to only accept certain messages, does the FDCAN hardware ACK a valid message that is rejected by the message filter?

I am working with an STM32C542 processor using STM32CubeMX2 and the new HAL2 library framework. CubeMX2 generated the code and I imported the CMake project into STM32CubeIDE v 2.1.1.I am trying to configure Timer 2 for a basic 1-second interrupt to toggle an LED, but the callback function is never reached. Hi,first time TouchGFX user but not new to graphics programming and hoping to get some help understanding a TouchGFX problem I'm having on a Riverdi RVT50HQSNWC01-B I'm thinking of using for an automotive dashboard display. If I don't throttle my display changes, the display buffers don't have the same content. The buffer with the most complete looking content does have a small glitch towards the bottom right hand side of the RPM segmented display, so I'm guessing it's not as simple as TouchGFX didn't get around to doing all updates on both buffers but more like it ran out of space somewhere to manage the updates? I've tried putting invalidate()'s either side of making changes, as suggested in this (https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-touchgfx-and-gui/double-buffer-one-buffer-is-not-updated/m-p/165271#M9822) thread, but that doesn't help. The only thing that helps is to throttle updates inside the screen handleTickEvent() to every other tick (and not do them the first 3 ticks either

Hello STM Community,We are developing a battery-powered iot product using the STM32WLE5 (single-core variant) with LoRaWAN communication. Problem DescriptionAfter an under-voltage event, the SUBGHZSPI bit gets permanently stuck at 0. The radio becomes completely unresponsive. Key observations:The issue **persists across full power cycles** (battery removed for minutes, capacitors fully discharged) A **software system reset** (`NVIC_SystemReset()`) does NOT fix it  **Re-flashing the firmware** does NOT fix it The only known fix is using STM32CubeProgrammer To Reset the bit ( Done in the picture below ). The error is SUBGHSPISD stuck to 0. Once we set the bit to 1 we can resume normal operation.    What we have tried (without success):1.RF subsystem reset via RCC_CSR_RFRST LL_RCC_RF_EnableReset(); // delay LL_RCC_RF_DisableReset(); // wait for RFRSTF to clear 2. SUBGHZSPI peripheral reset (APB3 bus): __HAL_RCC_SUBGHZSPI_FORCE_RESET(); // delay __HAL_RCC_SUBGHZSPI_RELEA

Hello ST Community, I've noticed that the STHS34PF80 is now marked as EOL (End of Life) across distributor platforms. Is there an official ST replacement or successor planned? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everyone,I'm planning to build an IoT-based data logger using an STM32 microcontroller and would appreciate some advice from those who have worked on similar projects. The project requirements include:Reading multiple environmental sensors (temperature and humidity) Logging data to an SD card Sending data to a cloud platform via Wi-Fi or LTE Low power consumption for long battery life Ability to update firmware remotely in the futureI'm currently considering the STM32L4 or STM32U5 series because of their low-power capabilities, but I'm open to suggestions if another family would be more suitable.A few questions:Which STM32 series would you recommend for this type of application? Is STM32CubeMX sufficient for managing a project of this size, or would you recommend another workflow? Have you used FreeRTOS for sensor reading, data logging, and communication tasks? Was it worth the added complexity? Are there any common pitfalls I should watch out for when designing the hardware or firmw
