I want to realize CDC function to transimit/receive data to/from PC via STM32F105RB. I get the code from Cube. Set clock, enable CDC and modify heap size to 0x1000. But when I power on deivce, "Device descriptior request failed" shown.1.I don't know where is the problem.2.By the way, For the PC driver, "Starting from windows 10, the STSW-STM32102 driver is no more adequate and the usage of the native inbox driver is recommanded", I don't konw where can get native inbox drive? This is mean I don't need to install driver in WIN10. Now I'm using win10 to do the testing.3.I also tired WIN7(32bit), still have the "Device descriptior request failed" problem. Please help me.

Hi, I performed a clean re-install of CubeMX and am now having network connectivity problems.Machine: Win10 Home (v1809)CubeMX Version: v5.3.0Install Loc: C:\Sw\stm\STM32CubeBoot Error: Updater Settings:Update Manager:I can browse online and ping google.com fine. How can I get the internet connection restored and my CubeMX installation updated?

Hi, I'm looking for what I think is a Mosfet with this print, see the attached picture.I need to replace it because it's burned, but I don't know the features.Anyone can help me about ?Thanks a lotIvano

Hi Sir/Madam,The Sensor Capacitor (Cx) is not connected in the below mentioned. Can you please provide clarity on the Cx connection with MCU.While configuring the shielding in TSC using STM32CubeMX, it is asking to configure Cs(Sampling Capacitor) in the same group. In the above mentioned figure, i didn't find. If it is need to be connected, please provide a reference. Its really helps me a lotIs RsShield connected in parallel to the all the touch keys? Please find the STM32CubeMx image regarding 1st point. Thanks & Regards,

We are to evaluating the L9916 (Multifunction alternator voltage regulator...). From the datasheet I learned that there are OTP registers which are programmed by I2C – as described in section “OTP Programming? on page 30. Okay, but in addition we need a list of the registers and possible values, information which is not included in the datasheet. Please help.NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We regularly review support cases and add any helpful ones here for all to benefit from.

Hi guys,The STM32F072C8 microprocessor has a total of 31 flash pages. Each page is 2 kb in size. Thus, the processor has 64 (2x32) kb flash memory. The interesting thing is that I can read / write on page 63. How is that possible? Thanks.

Hello,I have noticed that the latest version of X-CUBE-AI (4.0.0) has support for Tensorflow Lite. Therefore I tried to analyze a SSD Mobilenet v1 network that I found on this blog post:Link to blog postLink to .tflite modelWhen analyzing the .tflite model, I have an error: "TOOL ERROR: Unkown layer type CUSTOM, stopping". I suspect that this comes from the post-processing operations that implement the non-maximum suppression.Where can I see the list of supported TFLite operations? Also the list of supported Keras layers were removed from the Getting Started with X-CUBE-AI .pdf.I couldn't find those lists elsewhere. I would really appreciate some help! Thank you and kind regards

hello, i have an issue on update a vaiable textArea on a Modal Window (pop up..), the background images is ok but the text field stays empty after text buffer update & invalidate..the "funny" thing is that the .getTextWidth() on the widget returns 0 after update so it looks like it does not render the string..i'm wondering if i put the right typography attached correctly, where i've put all the needed "wildcard" ranges, 0-9,a-z, special characters and fallback.i suppose i do not understand/maste exactly the variable text machinery on the background, really..anway here some snippets on the gory details. provided that "TypedText()" are rendered ok..init on object istantiation:textCnt.setXY(10, 10); textCnt.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(200, 0, 0)); textCnt.setLinespacing(0); //touchgfx::Unicode::snprintf(textCntBuffer, TEXT_SIZE, "%s", touchgfx::TypedText(T_SINGLEUSEID11).getText()); textCnt.setWildcard(textCntBuffer); textCnt.resizeToCurrentText(); add(textCnt);and

Hi, I'm using STM32F103. I encountered a problem when using the system timer to generate a delay. The processor runs at 8MHz from reset, well I think, and I'm using that clock to generate a 1Ms delay. So, I've to load the SysTick LOAD register with 8000-1.But it does't work as I expected. I assumed it would generate 1Ms but actually it generates a 0.1Ms. I literally don't know WHY. My code and the simulated output are below in the picture. Thanks in advance!

I'm just setting up the input capture on timer 2, input capture 4. On page 411 of the reference manual for the CCMR2 register and the CC4S bits, it states "01: CC4 channel is configured as input, IC4 is mapped on TI4 10: CC4 channel is configured as input, IC4 is mapped on TI3".I'm not sure what TI3 and TI4 are referring to. I've done a search and this is the only place they are mentioned.

Is this function related to UART communication ?What void " vcom_Init( void (*TxCb)(void) ) " do ?And what is the argument of this function ? thanks in advence

Hi,I am working on STM32L475 ARM Cortex M4 board and writing code for it on STM32Cube IDE. I want to swap two memory regions of FLASH memory in my BootLoader program when some conditions are met. I already tried swapping using the normal method but it was not successful. Here is my code for swapping:-#define APPLICATION_ADDRESS 0x0800C000#define APPLICATION2_ADDRESS 0x08076400boolean swap(void){    char *app_1=( char*) APPLICATION_ADDRESS; //points to the 1st address of application1 char *app_2=(char*) APPLICATION2_ADDRESS ;//points to the 1st address of application2 int mem1= getMemorySize((unsigned char*)APPLICATION_ADDRESS);//returns the number of bytes in Application1 int mem2= getMemorySize((unsigned char*)APPLICATION2_ADDRESS);//returns the number of bytes in Application2 int limit; if(mem1>mem2) limit= mem1; else limit= mem2; char swap; for(int i=1; i<=limit; i++,app_1++,app_2++) { swap = *app_1; *app_1 = *app_2; *app_2 = swap } return TRUE;}

Posted on August 07, 2017 at 11:54Hello everyone,I am attempting to relocate the frame buffer of the 'STemWin_HelloWorld' supplied with the STM32F429 Discovery kit. I would like to use the internal SRAM instead of the external SDRAM. Our project only requires 240x320 8 BPP so the SDRAM is not required.  Has anyone any experience with how to do this?My steps so far are based on the demo code at C:\STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.16.0\Projects\STM32F429I-Discovery\Applications\STemWin\STemWin_HelloWorld. I am running the example code on the actual Discovery kit.I changed the &sharpdefine LCD_LAYER0_FRAME_BUFFER in LCDConf_stm32f429i_disco_MB1075.c to the address of the 112KB SRAM which is 0x2000 0000 (page 85 of en.DM00071990.pdf).When I run the code on the debugger the program stops in the HardFault_Handler() and the call stack is indicating it failed after CUSTOM_FillRect() calls DMA2D_FillBuffer().Any suggestions gratefully received.Regards,Andrew.#sram #ltdc #stm32f4

HiI am using the STM32G070CB in a new product.I have the GPIOD0 and 1 connected to be digital inputs (they are to be connected to open-colector device), as such i have enabled the internal pull-ups in the GPIO configuration. The strange thing, is that only PD1 is read as '1' (or have 3.3V) when the input is "open". Even checking with the multi-meter PD1 has 3.27V and PD0 as 0V.The pull-ups and other configuration related to GPIO seems to be OK.//Pins to be configured as Input GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = LL_GPIO_MODE_INPUT; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = LL_GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW; GPIO_InitStruct.OutputType = LL_GPIO_OUTPUT_PUSHPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = LL_GPIO_PULL_UP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = LL_GPIO_PIN_0 | LL_GPIO_PIN_1; LL_GPIO_Init(GPIOD, &GPIO_InitStruct);The peripheral clock is enabled for GPIOD. When seeing the RCC, GPIOD registers in the DEBUG everything seems correctly configured accordingly with the datasheet / Reference manual.I have tried to configure also PD2 and PD3 (although

HelloWhen I try to connect to my Nucleo board, I have the following message:Error in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: (4) No device found on target.I think I have this error message because I didn't disconnect the board physically before upgrading the firmware.I don't know what is broken the ST-link or the nucleo itself? Is there a way to repair the board?Bests

Hello,I want to use my project under git version control,so, my question is what should I control from TouchGFX folder of my project, and what should I add to .gitignore file?Thank you,Anton

I am programming a STM32MP157C-DK2 board using System Workbench. I have been able to run the OpenAMP_TTY_echo example project without trouble. Then I created a new project and generated OpenAMP middleware from CubeMX. No trouble while compiling and uploading the firmware. But I have been able to test the firmware because of this error (see image below).Am I missing something? Please share any hint that could help! Thanks,Tristan

Hello!I have problem with spi4 clock speed. I want to drive a lcd tft display but spi clock is max 500Khz, baudrate prescaler set to SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_2. Is very weird. Initial setup was made with CubeMX to 48Mbit/s. APB2 clock is set to 96Mhz. I tried with dma, and without hal but the speed remains the sameWhat is the cause of this very low spi clock output speed?

From STM32 CubeMX 5.2.1 release, the LWIP is grey'd out. What am I missing to include this?

I have some examples that I acquired through Google searches. There is some trouble right away with trying to init the data flash memory. The ECC will not allow initial writing and gens an IVOR2 fault.

Does the STM USB CDC driver support power negotiation? If so please could someone point me to where I configure a request for more than the default 100mA.I'm using STM32F407 and CDC is working nicely but the computer only shows that 100mA is requested. I need more than this to power peripherals which will be attached to the uP.Any help appreciated

STM32G070 is *NOT* supposed to have DAC, UCPD etc., at least not "officially"?!
