I'm working on an android app and using your SDK (using version 1.5.1).The app can read the Tag name and UID, however, I have not been able to make it read the memory size or the content of the NDEF message.String tagName = mNfcTag.getName(); TextView tagNameTextView = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.tagNameTextView); tagNameTextView.setText(tagName);   String uidString = mNfcTag.getUidString(); TextView uidTextView = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.uidTextView); uidTextView.setText(uidString);   mTagSize = ": " + String.valueOf(mNfcTag.getMemSizeInBytes()) + " bytes";   TextView tagMemSizeTextView = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.tagMemSizeTextView); tagMemSizeTextView.setText(String.valueOf(mTagSize));   NDEFMsg ndefContent=nfcTag.readNdefMessage(); String contenu=ndefContent.toString();   TextView ndefTextView=(TextView) findViewById(R.id.ndefScanTextView); ndefTextView.setText(contenu);mNfcTag.getMemSizeInBytes() on line 9 and nfcTag.readNdefMessage() on line 14 bo

I have the X-Nucleo-NFC30A1 with the Cr95HF chip. My question is: Is the Listen Mode supported for Type A tags?I used the X-Cube-NFC3 v2.0.0 and managed to get the Tag Detector working. But I am trying to implement the Listen Mode and am facing problems. When I build the project by making changes to the platform.h as:#define RFAL_FEATURE_ISO_DEP_LISTEN      trueand#define RFAL_FEATURE_LISTEN_MODE        trueI get undefined references to st25r95Listen, st25r95RearmListen and st25r95SPIGetLmState. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank You.

I am working with 560B54L5 discovery board. I am using runtime IO component with uart test application. I am able to send data at one channel at a time(one channel).my issues arehow to receive the data using interrupt in case of runtime IO?How can I use three channel at a time in case of runtime IO?what is the parameter in runtime io function (fd and flags)? If I can not use runtime IO for 3 uart channel than can you please suggest me some alternate for removing the delay component after write function.status = sd_lld_write(&SD1,command,getStrlen(command));osalThreadDelayMilliseconds(200);Thanks Rewatee

I used the stm application fot configuaring the Timer.1.first picture shows the timer is working for just 4 seconds but i want it to run continously i used the stm_lld_enable inside the for loop and it is not working i dont know why.

I have a big problem when using USART on STM8L-DISCOVERY. I studied the reference manual but it didn’t help me. I use library SPI. Could you send me a project working with usart on STM8L-DISCOVERY please!!!! NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We regularly review support cases and add any helpful ones here for all to benefit from.

How can I have more info about this device? Datasheet, examples and so on..Why I can't find it on the CubeMX (neither in Keil device list) also installing the F0 v1.0.0 package?Which device I've to set in Keil? Thanks in advance,Antonio

Hi,I've been following the guide over at:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157C-DK2/Let%27s_start/Execute_basic_commandsI'm using a Windows 10 as a host, but I was hoping I'm not the only one. I don't have access to a Linux environment at the moment.I'm at the point where I need to connect to the device using the UART/ST-Link, power on, and press reset on the device to see an output on the terminal. My setup is:Host is Windows 10Terminal is called Termite 3.4 (no install version)DK2 is powered from a dedicated USB power (500mA source)DK2 boots up fine (the display works and the demo environment seems to work ok)Serial settings I have as follows: COM3 9600 bps, 8N1, No Handshake8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow controlThe output in the terminal, after pressing reset, is all jumbled and garbage:[00] TÙ@¾"#VŠÿ£[1B][18]Äã[12][07]€Åÿ‹3[15]"[03]ª¢AÄ&KûÇÊ[0B]K[13]ÿ[05]˜C[13]àÕC BQpZ•®§#qS‚[03]?ƒˆJ##B¥[05]í½ÇõOEüc½½[08][1A]0Aáqú[07]¨ú[08]F[17]

I would like to use TouchGFX in a project and need to show some (animated) videos with sound from the SD card.

HiI want to implement Modbus slave RTU/ASCII protocol on STM32F103VET6. I have read many forums about Modbus and examined several libraries, but unfortunately I couldn’t do it and I’m disappointed. In this blog: https://blog.naver.com/eziya76/220970378890 (this is Korean, I translated it with google) there is a full explanation of running Modbus, but when I test with ‘Modbus poll’, the error ‘Time out’ occurs. The library is here: https://github.com/cwalter-at/freemodbus Maybe I’m missing something or doing something wrong. I uploaded my project and schematic of my discovery board. I’m using Usart1 (PA9 , PA10 pins) for Modbus and connect it with Usb cable to PC. After all, if you have a good manual or know a better library, please let me know.I really appreciate if someone helps me. This is very important for me.Thank you very much…

Hello, everyone:I just migrate my development job from MDK to STM32CubeIDE. But I've got a little problem, details as follows:1.environment STM32H750 + SDRAM(FMC), with bootloader in the AXI flash, but app was copied from spiFlash to AXI SRAM by the bootloader when system starts.2.problem when I DO my job on the MDK, i can define an huge array in the SDRAM using the statement like this:unsigned char MemoryEx_Pool[MEMORY_EX_MAX_SIZE] __attribute__((at(SDRAM_BANK_1_ADDR)));where SDRAM_BANK_1_ADDR is defined as the start address of FMC 0xC0000000. Then nothing left to do, the compiler tools can deal with this automatically well. But on STM32CubeIde, it seems not that easy to get this work, I made some changes while migrating from MDK Project:1). I changed my statement in the source code to define this array in the sdramas follows:__attribute__((section(".sdram"))) unsigned char MemoryEx_Pool[MEMORY_EX_MAX_SIZE];here i intend to put this huge uninitialized array into section 'sdram' defi

Hi all, I'm using SPC570S0DISP DEMO Board(SPC570S50E1) to lean how to config CAN's filter. And the attachment is my config and source code. In my config,i just want CAN ID 0x112 to interrupt fifo callback function. And then i get the data in callback function. But unfortunatelly,ID 0x112/0x200/0x312/0x400/0x512/0x600/0x712 can interrupt fifo callback also. So,can anyone help me correct my configuration and explain it?thanks.Jer.

I have this code that works and i can turn an LED on:#include "stm32f10x.h"   void RCC_Init(void){   RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_IOPCEN; }   void GPIO_Init(void){ GPIOC->CRH |= GPIO_CRH_CNF13_0 | GPIO_CRH_MODE13_0 | GPIO_CRH_MODE13_1; }   int main(void){ RCC_Init(); GPIO_Init(); GPIOC->BSRR = GPIO_BSRR_BR13; while(1){ } return 0; }but when i change my port it doesn't work:#include "stm32f10x.h"   void RCC_Init(void){ RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_IOPAEN; }   void GPIO_Init(void){ GPIOA->CRL |= GPIO_CRL_CNF7_0 | GPIO_CRL_MODE7_0 | GPIO_CRL_MODE7_1; }   int main(void){ RCC_Init(); GPIO_Init(); GPIOA->BSRR = GPIO_BSRR_BS7; while(1){ } return 0; }Based on the datasheet and the clock table shown, it should work. Can anyone point out the problem to me?

Hello,is there any way to find out by the CMSIS headers if some given Timer has the RCR (Repeat Count) Register? Is it possible to find out at runtime? Or do all TIM1/8/20 15/16/17 Timers do have the RCR register?

Hi,This is for SPC560Bxx. I need clarification on set address for bootloader and the 32-bit address that shall be mentioned on UART/CAN frame. There is one column in firmware updater component, where we are supported to choose it the set address, here 0x0010000 or 0x0018000, yes, it is mentioned in 28-bits. There shall be another address sent via UART/CAN line, in step 2 of boot process after valid password verification. I got bit confused here and would like to have a clarification on both its usage. So,What is the set address, we are speaking about in firmware updater component? What is the range of load address that can be used for SPC560B54L5? And this is a 32-bit address. Thanks for your time on helping me out.Regards,Prashanth

Is it possible to compile the application only with Gcc (free) so do not use GHS or Hightec and flash and run the compiled code?I can tolerate that this compiler is not efficient as those not free.

I would like to migrate an older projekt based on stm32l151.I created a new config with STM32CubeMX5.2.1 with firmware package STM32Cube FW_L1 V1.9.0. I used USB CDC to create a virtual COM. But I don't get any device listed on my Host PC.I compared most of the code with the old projekt and everything seems similar. Are there any known bugs for the stm32l151?The compiled software runs (flashing LED via GPIO) but ony the USB stack seems not to work.

Goodmorning,    I've been using the STM32 MCUs for a while. Now I should start a safety critical project, nothing complicated, I just have to monitor a signal at precise time intervals and set some GPIO (an interrupt based on a timer and little else) but safety critical.Since the SPC5s are classified as safety critical MCUs, I wanted to understand if they could be suitable for this project. In particular, how do SPC5 differ from STM32? Whay SPC5 si a safety critical MCU?Knowing well the toolchain for STM32 (cubemx + Truestudio) how difficult would it be to switch to the toolchain for SPC5?Thanks in advance,  Federico.

For starting with development on SPC56ELxx what I need is:the discovery board : https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/evaluation-tools/product-evaluation-tools/mcu-mpu-eval-tools/spc5-automotive-mcu-eval-tools/spc56l-discovery.htmlSPC5 Studiohttps://www.digikey.com/products/en?WT.z_cid=sp_497_0928_buynow&Enterprise=44&lang=en&Vendor=497&mpart=SPC5-UDEDEBGhttps://www.digikey.com/products/en?WT.z_cid=sp_497_0928_buynow&Enterprise=44&lang=en&Vendor=497&mpart=SPC5-UDESTK-PLUSBetween 3 and 4 is not clear for me if one is the hardware debugger and one is the license, so I have to buy both, or one of the two is sufficient.Thanx

Preferably free

with standard CAN in normal mode ..i find that example in spc studio difficult and hard to understand..
