Hello,

I want to use my project under git version control,

so, my question is what should I control from TouchGFX folder of my project,

and what should I add to .gitignore file?

Thank you,

Anton

Hi @qqAnton,

I suggest you add all auto generated source to the ignore list, so the following folders

/generated

/build

/simulator/msvs/.vs

I will let you decide if you want to add the touchgfx framework to your ignore list. It will always be added by the designer if it is not found in the application.

If you are using CI in your workflow, i suggest you use the tgfx CLI tool to generate the UI code before compiling on the build server, the command is:

tgfx.exe generate -p [project-path]

The CLI tool is place beside the TouchGFX Designer in the installation directory.
