ST: will there be a firmware package for LoRa Basic Modem on STM32WLxx?

Dana Myers

When will ST support Lora Basics Modem and, perhaps, Relay, FUOTA?

Thank you,

Dana

Throw the STM32CUBEWL V1.3.0, ST is already implementing LoRa Basic Modem that will let you create an end-node application operating on SubGHZ frequencies. FUOTA it is also implemented on the Same SDK. You may refer to the AN5554. Finally, for the LoraWAN Relay, we Plan to integrate it on the coming releases of the STM32CubeWL. But for now, you may need to do the implementation since is not yet supported on the current stack.

Thank you so much for the timely answer!

Looking at FW v1.3, it appears to retain the source structure of the LoRaMac reference stack; do I understand functionality has been merged into this from the LoRa Basics Modem stack? (rather than the LoRa Basics Modem stack being entirely adopted in v1.3)

Not complaining, just want to understand more depth. I truly appreciate the quality of FW v1.3 and have deployed 1k+ LoRaWAN nodes based on it.

Thanks,

Dana
