Hi - I'm trying to get a single PDM mic (ST MP34DT01-M) working with an STM32H7, using SAI. It's outputting static when I send the DAC each SAI *freq* interrupt. Some questions:
Is the DFSDM peripheral required? If so, what does the value of the SAI xDR mean when configured for PDM? The RM describes the SAI peripheral of converting from PDM to PCM - if this is the case, how does DFSDM tie in?
How does the software library for filtering mentioned in the AN apply? In addition to DFSDM? Instead of?
The RM only discusses stereo mode, while the AN implies there's a mono mode too. Is this the case? (eg with 1 mic)
The RM implies the data for each channel is interleaved in 8-bit sections per the 2 channels, while the AN implies each bit is interleaved. Which is the case for a single mic?
