STM32 IHM07M1 STM32F401RE Motor profiler

Hello,
Did anyone attempt to use the motor profiler toolkit with these boards : STM32 IHM07M1 & STM32F401RE? I configured mine following the "motor control mode" from ST website and the program starts but then nothing happens and the following error message appears : "The measurement is taking too time".
On the other hand if I use the motor pilot tool with some approximate motor parameters, everything woks fine, so I think the problem comes from the indications on how to configure the board in the beginning for the profiler.
Any help would be largely appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance

Hello @FCarl.2 ,
There is almost no board configuration required to use the profiler. The only parameters are the number of pole pairs, the Vbus and the approximate max speed.
When selecting the IHM07M1, just be sure that it is configured in 3 shunts. This can be changed with jumpers, but profiler supports only 3 shunts configuration.
Now, the message : "The measurement is taking too much time" can be due to your motor. Low inductance motors are pretty tough to measure.

Hello, yes thank you for the answer! Indeed, the motor I wanted to test falls into the category of low inductance motors, therefore I don't think the motor profiler can give satisfying results...

My problem is the profiler (and STOPLL) are giving negative speed feedback. Which is why it fails. Not sure how to get it to get it to estimate a positive speed. I also have a low inductance motor but I have had it work with the demo one, which is also low inductance.
