Motor Profiler not computing any parameter

Abhishek_n17

Dear Support team,

I am currently working on a NucleoF401RE and IHM07M1 driver to run a 24V PMSM motor (rated at 3600 RPM, no load).

1. I am using STM32 Motor Control Workbench version 5.4.8 for motor profiling. The motor profiler doesnt compute any parameter and throws the following error - "The measurement is taking too time".

2. Anyways, I tried to run the motor with the motor parameters I know, and it immediately goes into speed feedback error.

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

Hello @Abhishek_n17,

Why do you use 5.4.8 ? I would advise you to test with MCSDK 6.3.2 or MCSDK 6.4.0

Did you check that your IHM07M1 is properly configured in FOC mode & 3Shunts? this is mandatory to run the profiler.

Did you check our wiki to measure the motor parameters yourself?

How To manually configure the motor parameters - stm32mcu

It can happen that the motor profiler does not success to converge, but that does not mean that you would not be able to control it correctly.

Hope it helps.

Regards
