Hi,
I am learning motor control by using ST Motorcontrol workbench. I'm using P-NUCLEO-IHM002 pack which contains NUCLEO-F302R8, X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1 and power supply.
While I trying to use this board, in the user manual they said some changes in the jumper configurations.
In the schematics of IHM07M1 power board, I observed that there is no provision for 5V generations. So, I assumed that I gets 5V from controller board, and I also observed that by closing the jumper J9 in the power board causes direct flow of 12V to the control board, so I opened that jumper and given 5V separately to the board and for running the motor alone, I have used 12V only.
While running the motor profiler, the motor starts and runs for few seconds and return an error.
Help me to resolve this.
And I also have a doubt that, In the Youtube tutorial videos they are using only one 12V supply, but how the controller board (NUCLEO-F302R8) withstands 12V?
Thanks in advance.

Hello @Sanjay_Periyasamy,
On IHM02 kit, on MCSDK WB 6.3.2, using "Pole pairs"=7, "Max speed"=15000 and "Max current"=1.0A, profiling ends successfully. Refer to User Manual documentation available through "Workbench tool">About>Documentations>Documentation>"User manual" tab>"Motor Profiler Application Note" link.
