Speed Control Issue with Hall Sensors in MCSDK Workbench 5.4.7 (15-Pole Pair BLDC Motor)

I am working on a BLDC motor control project using ST MCSDK Workbench 5.4.7. The motor has 15 pole pairs.
When I configure the system to use a quadrature encoder, I can rotate the motor and successfully control its speed in both directions using the Workbench.
 
However, when I switch to Hall effect sensors (HALL _H1, HALL_ H2, HALL_ H3), I can still rotate the motor in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, but speed control does not work. The motor spins at a constant speed, and changing the speed setpoint in the Workbench has no effect. Kindly help me in this.
 
1.What would be causing the speed control to fail when using hall sensor?
2.Are there specific settings or configurations in MCSDK workbench for Hall sensors that might be affecting speed regulation?
