FDCAN bootloader for STM32H750VB?

DBign.1

I use a STM32H750 chip and I would like to use the emdedded bootloader with the FDCAN1 interface. AN2606 specifies pins PH13 and PH14 for this version. However, the package I use (STM32H750VBT6 LQFP100) doesn't have these pins exported. Does it mean that there is no FDCAN bootloader option for the 100-pin package?

Thank you in advance for your answer,

Dorian Bignet

Hello @DBign.1  and welcome to the Community :),

For STM32H750, you can activate the FDCAN bootloader with only by PH13/PH14 pins.

Ok, thank you very much for your answer.

What does that mean "you can activate the FDCAN bootloader with only by PH13/PH14 pins."?

@DBign.1 Those pins dont exist right?

we dont need to firmware by ourselves, lets talk

It means that those are the only pins you can use - you cannot use any other pins.

Which is, presumably, why the datasheet doesn't mention FDCAN as a bootloader option:

Similarly for the stm32H743ZI:

if you go look into AN2606 youll find there is supposed to be a canbus bootloader for this mcu

we dont need to firmware by ourselves, lets talk

Yes, looks like AN2606 makes some sweeping generalisations - which aren't always true.
