LD5 is on RED on the STM32F767 and ST890 current limiter overheats, nothing works

ST890 current limiter on the STM32F767 gets very hot when i connect the USB to STLink to power the MCU. But the overcurrent LED LD5 lights up RED. And no power is sent to the MCU and nothing works, just the ST890 gets very hot.

How do i fix this?

LD5 USB power fault: LD5 indicates that the board power consumption on USB exceeds 500mA, consequently the user must power the board using an external power supply

You could have an invalid power supply situation. Maybe something is shorted to ground somewhere.

Look at UM1974 and verify your jumpers related to power are correct. Verify you don't have a short somewhere.

I have the same problem now. Did you fix it?

I plugged 12 V to an ADC entrance by accident and now i have the same problem as him.

Is it fixable?
