Hi,i tried the SAI_AudioPlayback example for the h745 discovery board. I'm using Keil and with the keil 5 armcc compiler everything works fine. Now i switched to armclang 6 and replaced the "libPDMFilter_cm7_keil_wc16.lib" with "libPDMFilter_cm7_gcc_wc16.a" i can compile & run the program but soundoutput is not working.i attached a screenshot. for the input i get pdm values but pcm is always zero. If i compile with armcc the pcm values are not zero.is there something i have to configure? i think maybe it is some signed/unsigned problem? does anybody have a hint what can cause this error?Regards

Hello.I am a student who is currently studying related to stm32 at the university.I'm learning how to install and use the program because it's my first time using the stm32 board.I would like to apply the expansion package that you gave me to the NUCLEO-H743ZI2 board. The professor gave me a file in exe, and when I ran exe and installed it, there were many files, but among them, there were four Tests folders in the projects folder -> NUCLEO-H743ZI folder -> Applications folder -> STL folder. And when you go into one of the files, it's in the SW4STM32 folder. There were two files, the cproject file and the .project file.I'm curious about how to open and apply the expansion package installed like this.No matter how much I look for it, I don't think it shows how to apply the expansion package, so I came here.It may seem strange that I am not in the English speaking area, but I would appreciate it if you could reply.

Does anyone know how to import an IOC file into an existing project?I was trying to have two IOC files; one for issue 1 of the hardware and one for issue 3 and swapping between them, but something's gone funky with it and now the project won't recognise the IOC file even though it's there in the directory. If I move the two IOCs out of the project directory and then try and import them, but right clicking on the project, selecting import and then import IOC file, Cube spits its dummy out and tells me"Project is already existing within current workspace" Whatever than means.I have valid IOC files, why won't Cube accept them and what do I do to fix this please?Ta.,

Hello,I have a test app that starts in wake for 5s (with "high" current and GPIO output high) then enters STOP Mode 2 (with "low" current and GPIO output low). It remains in that mode until the EXTI 1 interrupt is triggered by a button press, which wakes it up (current and output go high). That much works.5s after waking up from the button press it then reenters STOP Mode 2. Pressing the button again does nothing. After seeing that, I added the code below to reinitialize the GPIO both in the EXTI callback function and just before calling HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode() - neither one of those made it work. Note that the EXTI callback function calls SystemClock_Config() and HAL_ResumeTick() before the code below is called. Using the debugger, I can see that EXTI1_IRQHandler() does not get called after reentering STOP Mode 2.What else could be missing? (If I press the button multiple times after the first press but before it reenters STOP I do see the IRQ trigger each time - it'

What do you when your LD1 turns red everytime you plug-in a cable? The name of my board is nucleo-g071rb, I'm using cubeIDE. I am trying to do an STLink upgrade, but it says I'm not connected and should check my cable. LD3 and LD4 turn green, but LD1 turns red.

Hi. We have this applications where we use a different type of flash chips that we are able to read/write as we need but some of the boards have this particular flash 45e10svp and we are not able to read/write at all. At this point we just replace 45e10svp with the ones we are able to read/write , but unfortunately is getting harder to get supply them. It would be great to get the datasheet for 45e10svp or any information how to read/write. Thank You

Hello Everyone,I'm developing a WPF(.NET Framework) application in which i'm using the CR95HF.dll also I'm using the CR95HF Demo Board to read some ICs like M24LRxxE and ST25DVxxKI've made some readings using VB.NET since all the information I found is for VB. and it works fine for me because I've read some tags.Unfortunately my final application is based on C#, so my question is if there are some code samples or some docs that give instructions on how to use C# to make the connections.or how to declare those kind of functions to be able to work using C#Public Declare Function CR95HFDLL_USBconnect Lib "CR95HF.dll" () As LongPublic Declare Function CR95HFDll_Idn Lib "CR95HF.dll" (ByVal mystring As String) As LongPublic Declare Function CR95HFDll_SendReceive Lib "CR95HF.dll" (ByVal mycmdstring As String, ByVal mystring As String) As LongPublic Declare Function CR95HFDll_STCmd Lib "CR95HF.dll" (ByVal mycmdstring As String, ByVal mystring As String) As Long

HiI find these issues with the system_stm32f4xx.c file which CubeMX "generates":(a) CubeMX has Bank1, Bank2 enabled.  Code generated is only for Bank1.(b) CubeMX setting of pins (e.g/ AFR, MODER) does not match CubeMX Pinout.IOC attached. It seems that the system_ file may be a generic file (I have seen this around for years with the same flaws) and not generated based on CubeMX settings.  This seems wrong.  Once known the workaround is easy (i.e. write your own for each project, modifying the code as you need).  If not you may (will) get Failure to Launch if your stack / heap is in the SDRAM.RegardsMark

I have stm32f769i discovery card. I want to install a 7 inch 800px 480px screen on this card instead of a 4 inch 800e 480 screen. What adjustments need to be made for this?I can change the resolution via cubemx but I don't know how to do it for inch.

Hi ,I am using stm32wl55ccu 48 pin QFN MCU to drive a 3 phase brushless motor using 3-phase complementary PWM output signals using TIMER 1. I have seen at the datasheet that this 48 QFN package is missing the complementary output of TIMER1 ,Channel 3, TIM1_CH3N (which is present at the BGA version). Is it possible to generate the 3-rd phase complementary output PWM signal in another way ?(like using timer 2 in a master/slave configuration).Thank you, Joe.

I have created a bootloader and application.  My bootloader appears to launch my application successfully; however, the interrupts are not functioning in the application.  I used memcpy to copy the vector table into RAM. Below shows the results of the memcpy command.Below is the code I use to copy the vector table and hopefully start to use the new RAM based vector table.FLASH_VECTOR_ADDRESS = 0x08003000VECTOR_TABLE_SIZE = 48void copy_to_ram_vector_table(uint32_t *destination){__disable_irq();// Source address in flash (FLASH_VECTOR_ADDRESS)uint32_t *source = (uint32_t *)FLASH_VECTOR_ADDRESS;// Number of uint32_t values to copysize_t num_elements = VECTOR_TABLE_SIZE;// Use memcpy to copy the datamemcpy(destination, source, num_elements * RAM_VECTOR_DATA_SIZE);__HAL_RCC_SYSCFG_CLK_ENABLE();__HAL_SYSCFG_REMAPMEMORY_SRAM();__enable_irq();}I have been able to verify that my main loop is running, but none of the interrupts are firing.  I have also verified that I success

Hi,I have some problem with STM32CubeIDE, since when I start a new project everything works well as long as I delete the file: "home/STMCubeIDE/workspace_1-13.1/.metadata/.plugins/.org.eclipse.e4.workbench/workbench.xmi".However, when I exit the project, closing STM32CubeIDE, and I reopen it, recalling integrated MX, either a blank page or the MCU only is shown. I'm not allowed to do anything.STM32CubeMX standalone works correctly, without problems.I tried to find some solution online, nothing works but deleting the file indicated above and restart the project Here's my system informations: Computer HP HP 250 G5 Notebook PCSSD 500 GiBMemory 8.0 GiBProcessor Intel® Celeron(R) CPU N3060 @ 1.60GHz × 2Graphics card Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 400 (BSW)O.S. Can STEVAL-ESC002V1 be applied in a electronics of quadcopter? For example, is it possible to connect to betaflight FCU or Pixhawk?

I have follow the Integration of the LSM6DSM drivers from here : https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Linux_IIO_drivers/blob/linux-4.4.y-gh/README.md & https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Linux_IIO_drivers/tree/linux-4.14.y-gh/drivers/iio/imu/st_lsm6dsmNow I am able to get data through sysfs devices :grep "" /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio\:device*/name /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device0/name:lsm6dsm_accel /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device1/name:lsm6dsm_gyro /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device2/name:lsm6dsm_sign_motion /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device3/name:lsm6dsm_step_c /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device4/name:lsm6dsm_step_d /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device5/name:lsm6dsm_tilt /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device6/name:lsm6dsm_wrist /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device7/name:lsm6dsm_stap /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device8/name:lsm6dsm_dtapI have then follow the HAL integration into my AOSP folder : https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Android_Sensor_HAL_IIO/blob/STMems_Android_Sensor_HAL

Hello! In my project I'm using STM32L476VCT6. I don't want to connect external voltage reference, only internal. Could I leave floating pins VREF- and VREF +?  I saw in the datasheet that these pins could be tied internally to Vdda and Vssa correspondingly.

I set several unused pins in stm32u5 to floating as hardware and set them to low output by pushpull for ESD protection. The microcontroller was heating up abnormally when I looked at it with a thermo camera, and I found that the current consumption of VDDA was mysteriously high, and the current consumption changed within a few seconds. When the unused pins were set to analog input, the current consumption of VDDA dropped by about 30 mA, and the current consumption became the same all the time.It is very strange to me that the VDDA current consumption increases instead of the VDD current consumption increasing. Is there any possible cause for this?

In STM32CubeIDE, the NOR Flash seems to work fine that data was correct both by reading to variable and reading 0x90000000 of memory mapping address. But if terminate the session and restart and just read the data, it is all gone. And there is another experiment I did, if comment out chip earse then just writing/reading data, data can be saved at next session, is there any idea?

When I try to use X-CUBE-FREERTOS on H573 board, there is a warning sign and it is impossible to install. How do I install X-CUBE-FREERTOS bundle for CubeMX?Thanks!

The last time, admittedly a while ago, I tried creating a touchGFX project. It didn't work.  Nothing would link or compile properly.  Most of the included files/referenced files could not be found.I used CubeMXIDE, while including the TouchGFX files and trying to make it an ordinary project. That didn't work.  One problem I remember is that one thing (TouchGFX?) needed to be compiled under root and Cube MX did not.  Or vice versa. The only way I found to get anything working was to use the TouchGFX tools to combine an existing program.  Using CubeMX did not work at all. Before I try to make TouchGFX working, has this been solved? Is there a way to simply encorporate the TouchGFX files in a standard CubeMXIDE project?

Hello,I'm using the current version of STM32CubeMonitor (1.6.0) under Windows and would like to check in my flow if the configured exefile in the STMicroelectronics variable node is the intended one (e.g fits a regex). For this I would like to read out the exefile parameter. Using a debug-node I can see it is written but 'undefined'.Is there a workaround for this or is it possible to give the exefile as input parameter to the variable node?My output looks like this:  object groupname: "STM32G0 Binary Production" variablelist: array[19] mode: "direct" snapshotheader: "" triggerstartmode: "manual" triggername: "my_unused_variable" triggerthreshold: "" frequency: 10 accesspoint: 0 exefile: undefined Thank you!

I programmed stm32G030kt6 controller as slave .it need to send requesting packets to master . what is happening is  alternative packet is  getting skipped from my buffer as shown in below image .uint8_t tx_buffer[41] = "\x29""\x3F\x4F\x5F\x6F\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF""\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF""\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF""\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFF";kindly help in solving this. i can provide more information on this if it is needed

Hi,I am using MCSDK6.1.2, STM32CubeMX6.8.1, and STM32CubeIDE1.12.1 to make a control for 24v 8-pp motor with hall sensor. Motor pilot 6.1.2, Motor profiler, and 24v motor works well on NUCLEO-STM32F302R8 and X-NUCLEO-IHM07M1. I prefer to use the function void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) to handle the command data(maybe use if else function to identify the command data to enable MC_StartMotor1(void) or change the hFinalSpeed value in void MC_ProgramSpeedRampMotor1( int16_t hFinalSpeed, uint16_t hDurationms )) to control motor rather than Motor pilot 6.1.2. Because I still can’t understand how to use the MCP command ID to use the command in mc_api.c even though I have read ASPEP document. So I make some modification on void USART2_IRQHandler(void) in the stm32f30x_mc_it.c. I have modified USART2_IRQHandler(void) (by commenting all code generated by STM32CubeMX and adding HAL_UART_IRQHandler(&huart2); and printf("Hi!\r\n");  for testing wheth

Does MCSDK support hrtim?

Dear ST Community, I would like to address an issue we have encountered while flashing the program on the STM32L562VETb microcontroller using different versions of the STM32 CubeProgrammer software. Our observations indicate a significant performance difference between STM32Programmer version 2.13.0 and version 2.8.0 when it comes to flashing the bin file of size 248 KB  onto the STM32L5xx. Specifically, version 2.13.0 takes approximately 1.07 minutes, while version 2.8.0 completes the same task in approximately 10 seconds. Are there any known reasons why the newer version of STM32Programmer (2.13.0) might exhibit slower flashing performance compared to the older version (2.8.0)? Could there be specific configurations or settings that need to be adjusted to improve the flashing speed? I have attach the Document and bin file please look into it Thank you for your attention and assistance. Best regards, kavan
