now I'm about to try 2 PWM outputs on STM32G4, one is 1/2 time-base delayed from another one.I think that it is difficult with using only 1 timer, and if using 2, is it possible?maybe like following..  using TIM2 & TIM3 for example,  both are PWM generate mode (up/down counter)  master = TIM2, slave = TIM3, TIM3 start at TIM2 counter overflowI'm glad to hear someone can advise me.Regards.

I bought stm32f407g-disc1. I downloaded stm32cubeide. While I am creating a project, I am constantly downloading firmware files and getting the following error. (code generation could not be done most probably because the necessary firmware package is missing). I looked for the solution of the error on the internet but couldn't find anything. it didn't help those. Also, I had a nucleo card before, I didn't have a problem with it, in the mx and ide parts. I will be glad if you help.

Hello, I am trying to boot from the external flash memory that the nucleo-h755zi-q has(addres->0x09000000), but I am having some issues. The idea I was following is :1. Create a Bootloader project, in this project I configure the QuapSPI in the internal flash memory to memory mapped mode2. create the App project (with a basic toggleLed) changing the .ld flash direction to the 0x09000000. Once the project is created I get back to the Bootloader and in debug configurations I linked the Bootloader with the App, so when the Bootloader is debugged the App will too.3. In the Bootloader file I created a function called 'JumpToAplication' that tries to Jump to the app when the quadspi is done. Here is the code of the function ( I also tried using the commented code) :typedef void (*AppFunction)(void);void JumpToApplication(void) {AppFunction appEntryPoint = (AppFunction)APP_START_ADDRESS;//__disable_irq();//SCB->VTOR = APP_START_ADDRESS;appEntryPoint();}Nothing is working and I don´t kno

Hi, I'm currently working on a project that uses TrustZone with non-secure peripherals, but I'm having problems with non-secure interrupts. When I configure USART3 as a secure peripheral in my project, USART3_IRQHandler and GPDMA1_Channel0_IRQHandler interrupts are working fine (in Secure/stm32h5xx_it.c). However, when I configure USART3 as non-secure, these same interrupts don't fire now (now in NonSecure/stm32h5xx_it.c). I verified that the interrupts and DMA are enabled, and that they are included in the NVIC_NS. The USART3 seems to be initialized the right way because using HAL_UART_Transmit works in secure and non-secure modes. However HAL_UART_Transmit_IT and HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA work with USART3 as secure, but not as non-secure.To deepen my investigation, I wanted to see if the problem was with ALL non-secure interrupts. In a different project, I configured ThreadX as non-secure (using TIM1 as SYS) with the same USART3. The TIM1_IRQHandler is firing, but I get the

hello everyone, i'd like to know if i can use the EVALSTDRIVE101 add-on board driven by an stm32-nucleo to drive BLAC motors. Because the datasheet says that they are suitable for BLDC AND PMSM.Otherwise there is some other board that allows driving  blac motors?

Hello everyone,I'm trying to write a driver for the ILI9341 display (8 bit parallel mode, not SPI) using the ST HAL. I couldn't get the libraries I found online working, I imagine for the same reason I can't get mine to work. Obviously I have double checked my wiring.I took an existing Arduino library, stripped a bunch of code away and verified it worked on an Arduino. Then I changed the Arduino specific calls (pinMode, digitalWrite, digitalRead and delay) and converted them into ST HAL equivalent. The code I attached is supposed to print the display ID (I have removed the auto-generated comments). On Arduino it prints `0x9341` (which is correct), instead the ST version prints `0x1a1a1a1a`.I'm using a Nucleo 64 STM32L053R8T6 board and STM32CubeIDE. I have attached a screenshot of the configurations of the pins, but I also configure them at runtime (see the functions ILI9341_PrepareDataPinsForWriting and ILI9341_PrepareDataPinsForReading)I have also added a screenshot of the IDE and of t

We would like to test if the Teseo-VIC3DA module and its corresponding RF connector have been soldered correctly on the carrier board in production environment. For this it would be easiest to just apply a 1575.42 MHz continuous wave signal (un-modulated L1 carrier) to the RF connector and read out the receive signal strength from the Teseo-VIC3DA module. However, in the "Teseo-VIC3 software instructions" documentation we could not find any command for reading receive signal strength within receiver bandwidth. Is there a method to test the module's RF input without GPS signal simulator?

Hi Team, I'm currently trying to enter low power mode mode stop 0,1,2,3 and standby mode with Trustzone enabled using Threadx. The device is entering low power mode when interrupt triggers the thread is not resuming it still in the low power mode. Is there any material to proceed low power mode in trustzone enabled in Threadx.

In your application note AN5020 and related to JPEG reception. i have some questions and hopefully you can answer them so every thing work. Each JPEG stream is divided into packets, which have programmable sizeWhat does JPEG Stream means? is it JPEG frame or what exactly? What packets mean? Minimum Code Unit (MCU) or what?also how many packet can be received between every HSYNC, one packet or more?how this packets can have programmable size and which register responsible for this?

Hello, I have a Nucleo H745ZI-Q  board  in this am working Ethernet fallowed some examples when doing ping test response is Destination host unreachable(am using CM7 and  done memory configuration also).

Hello everyone, I use stm32f4 discovery. I want to communication of mpu6050 sensor with I2C. When I push to run button Led 7 is burning. Why is that. ?  Give me comment .Thankss

Hi,I'm using STM32H743ZI with STM32CubeMX 6.9.1.I used to work with an really old STM32CubeMX , and I decided to move to the latest version of both IDE and MXso I had to configure the IOC file from scratch manually - since migrate wasn't possible (too old)I copied the same configuration like the old IOC file , and the same for the clock configuration - but in the clock configuration I saw an issue - I can set the SPI123 to <=200 MHz while the max size is 480 MHzso I searched online and saw few solutions that didn't work such as:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcu/stmh743zi2-cubemx-clock-setup-max-frequency-not-allowed/m-p/148775https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcu/cubemx-stm32h753iikx-clock-configuration/m-p/98576#M2796this is my clock configuration:also my RCC configuration:pls I need your help :)thanks

I'm using the nucleo-f302r8 and I want to turn on then turn of the user led (the ones on the stm32 board) thanks to a push-button on my personal breadboard. How to achieve this? Hardware : a nucleo-f302r8, a breadboard, a push-button arduino, 2 male-female wiresSofware : STM32CubeIDE

Is it possible for STM32H5 to monitor the CAN bus when MCU is in sleep mode? Upon CAN bus activity detection, MCU automatically performing the wakeup sequence to be back in normal run mode.

My setup is as follows: I have a NUCLEO-H563ZI with an STM32H563ZIT6 and I am communicating through I2C with the 6D IMU, ISM330DCL. Moreover the ISM330DCL is on the STEVAL-MKI182V2.My I2C-bus is very confusing. First I get everything set up exactly as this guy does in the following vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isOekyygpR8&list=PLEBQazB0HUyRYuzfi4clXsKUSgorErmBv&index=14.Well I didn't use the same setup but of course I used the respective registers which have to be used in my case, instead of those in the video. Then I get everything running and I get a bunch of "0.0g" readings. So I decide to unplug a pull-up resistor to see if it's even working and to my surprise it did the "Error, TX" message came up and I was satisfied that it picked that up. I put the resistor back in and the "Error, TX" message doesn't go away. I rewire everything a thousand times it still didn't work. Until finally, I changed My WHO_AM_I address to "0xD5U" instead of "0xD5" and it worked

Dear Sir,I am trying to develop my own VB.NET application to communicate with st25dv64k through CR95HF board.I am using latest DLL Version 1.2 & the firmware loaded in CR95HF is also latest i.e. 3.7.1.The Sequence I am trying to follow to setup the CR95HF is as below,1. Get DLL version using CR95HFDll_GetDLLrev2. USB Connect using CR95HFDLL_USBconnect3. Reset SPI using CR95HFDll_ResetSPI4. ISO 15693 selection using CR95HFDll_Select5. Long Frames using CR95HFDll_STCmd ("02A8" and getting answer as 00020397)6. Inventory using CR95HFDll_SendReceive ("260100" and getting TAG UID as answer)7. Read Dynamic Config using CR95HFDll_SendReceive (02AD020D)8. Write Dynamic to enable MB using CR95HFDll_SendReceive (02AE020D01)8. Read Dynamic again to confirm (Getting answer as 80050001CE1E)9. Sending Mailbox write using CR95HFDll_SendReceive (02AA020A and application bytes)10. Read Dynamic Register to check the response from device (Getting

I'm working on SPI communication between two Nucleo-H743ZI boards. I'm using ST's HAL, and the SPI polling API HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive.It's working fine until a bandwith of 12Mbits/s (SPI kernel clock at 200Mhz and prescaler 16, the CPU is always at 400Mhz) but fails above (smaller prescaler).I want to understand since 24 or 48 Mbits/s doesn't seem much even in polling with a poor quality software. With prescaler set to 8, I don't have SPI error like overrun or other (I checked directly in registers), however the data are not correct. looking closer to the data, I've noticed that there is only a shift of one bit.More precisely I should receive (in hexa :( 0x30 0x31 0x32 ... And I receive 0x18 0x18 0x99...In binary:expected 0011 0000 0011 0001 0011 0010...received 0001 1000 0001 1000 1001 1001...If I shift the received bitstream to the left I get exactly the right result.Does it ring something to you ? Could it be due to a bad configuration ?Obviously master and slave have the same confi

Hey all,I'm trying to locate the datasheet of the following device:I think that it is a Zener, but I am not 100% sure.I've done the usual "Google" for the text, but I can't seem to find it.Thanks.

I have an application that requires a large number of digital outputs, but they can be very slow. The "true" SPI ports in my design are already in use for higher-performance peripherals, so my plan is to use a USART in synchronous mode to generate the data and clock outputs from the MCU to the shift register chain. So in my case, this would require the use of USART_TX and USART_CK. Because these are just output shift registers, no data "comes back," so the receiver on this USART isn't needed for anything.Reading the STM32L051 datasheet and register reference, it seems like the CK and TX functionality can be assigned to suitable pins as alternate functions without having to also assign RX (which I don't need) to a pin. And then beyond that, I could also disable the receiver functionality of the USART itself. This would let me use this USART to latch out data and clock without having to waste an IO pin on the unneeded USART_RX. Can anyone confirm that I'm understanding this correctly

Almost all sample projects have support of STMCubeIDE in the development board B-U585I-IOT02A except following bootloader projects.SBSFU_AppliSBSFU_BootSBSFU_LoaderOn release note it is mentioned that, will be added support in the next release but date is not mentioned. May I know the date by which we will get the STMCubeIDE support?

Hi everyone,I observed a strange behaviour while creating software for a STM32F091. I am using CubeIDE and HAL. FreeRTOS is used as well. The application is running as expected so far, but when I try to run it in debug mode it does not work. It crashes at different locations within the HAL_Init() function. Did someone experienced a similar behavior and probably has a solution?Best regards

Hi , I am using STM32L031x4 MCU for my project. In the document it shows 2 UART ports, can I use these 2 UARTS simultaneously ?I need 2 different UARTS for sensors.

Dear CommunityI recently acquired a STWIN.box development kit and proceeded step by step according to the document "Quick Start Guide High-Speed Sensor Datalogger application for STEVAL-STWINKT1 (HSDatalog)" but I can't get the CLI examples to work (slide 27).When I start the CLI batch file "USB_DataLog_Run.bat" the output is:STWIN Command Line Interface exampleVersion: 2.0.0Based on : High Speed Datalog DLL v2HSD_DLLv2: DeviceManager createdNo devices, exitingPress any key to exitI've noticed that when I connect the STWIN.box via USB, the computer doesn't seem to recognize any devices, resp. there is no notification by a system sound nor any change in device manager windows.I'm also not sure which FW should be loaded on the STWIN.box, the Android app shows a long list, and I haven't found any information about the different FWs.Could you please give me a hint how to proceed? Thanks in advance

Hi everyone,I'm a french student in internship in a company and my project is about using 3 products : the NUCLEO-F302R8, the X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 and a BLDC motor from Trinamic. Please consider me as a total beginner in this and so please use simple words.I watched few videos how to turn on or turn off a motor with this kind of devices and I found out using ST Motor Control Workbench is what I need and the following tutorial could be really useful : https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32StepByStep:Getting_started_with_Motor_ControlI launch the ST Motor Profiler then enter the pole pairs (4), the max speed (4000rpm), the max current (5A, the real max current my motor can handle is 6.67A but my generator can't supply above 5A) and the voltage bus (36V). However when i try to click on Start Profile button after connecting the board after few second the board start smoking (the motor do spin a little) and then the profile stop because of overheat fault. What's the issue? Thanks

HI"I am using an STM32G071CBT6 controller, and I am receiving data using the receive interrupt. I have received some values in my buffer memory, and now I want to convert them to float. If you have any examples, please share them. My buffer memory is of type uint8_t rx_data[1] /* USER CODE BEGIN Header *//**  ******************************************************************************  * @file           : main.c  * @brief          : Main program body  ******************************************************************************  * @attention  *  * Copyright (c) 2023 STMicroelectronics.  * All rights reserved.  *  * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file  * in the root directory of this software component.  * If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS.  *  *****************************************
