Hello !With my TouchGFX designer, the digital widget and the analog clock widget do not work with the STM32G071 application template (at least with the simulator, I can not confirm with the board). When I say it does not work I mean it is well displayed but the value (or animation) is never updated. The widget is frozen to the original value.

Hello.I have created a project with STM32H7, and in the project, I have included TouchGFX and ThreadX.I have an external memory controlled by SPI5. Everything works correctly. However, on some occasions, the function: status = HAL_SPI_Receive(hspiDFW25, bufferRX, bytes_to_read, 1000);returns TIMEOUT.If I give higher priority to the task where the HAL_SPI_Receive function is called than to the TouchGFX task, the error occurs less frequently. However, it still persists.Any ideas?

Hello. On a custom board with STM32U535CEU6TR, I can't have HCLK set to 160 MHz. At that speed, I get random hard faults. If I set HCLK to 80 MHz, then everything is fine, no more random hard faults. On the same board, with STM32U535CEU6QTR; no problem with HCLK set to 160 MHz.Here is the MCU power supply (same for both boards revision) :Clock initialization is borrowed from CubeMX generated code : /* Init HAL */HAL_Init();/* Configure the internal regulator output voltage */__HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE();HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1);/* Initialize main PLL */RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = { 0, };RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSI;RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState = RCC_HSI_ON;RCC_OscInitStruct.HSICalibrationValue = RCC_HSICALIBRATION_DEFAULT;RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLState = RCC_PLL_ON;RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLSource = RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSI;RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLMBOOST = RCC_PLLMBOOST_DIV1;RCC_OscInitStruct.PLL.PLLM = 4;RCC_OscInitS

Hi,I'm trying to understand SPI communication for your L9963E.In the data sheet for your L9963E IC is missing the definition of how SPI shall be configured. It doesn't say anything about MSB/LSB bit send configuration for SPI. In the picture below we can see that you have defined the order for IC frame which seems to mismatch with the actual code. From the picture below we can see that CRC should be sent the first in the frame, but in your source code in AutoDevKit Studio, CRC is packed the last spiWord[4]. Probably I misinterpreted your IC frame definition or example code. Can you please explain the right order for both receiving and sending SPI frame, as well as, how should SPI be configured?

I am currently working on stm32H7B3l-EVAL having currently gotten a custom screen to work over RGB interface but I am having problems with the touch interface. The board comes with FT5336 touch controller and having tried to modify the registers to match the GOODIX-GT911 documentation. when logic analyzer is coupled on the connector the correct start address is sent but no ACK is received.I found this GT911 library on github ---https://github.com/DiveInEmbedded/GT911-Touch-driver/tree/mainI got this working on the board without touch GFX but when I try to use the library with the STM32TouchController.Cpp The inclusion of GT911.h does not give any errors but all the internal functions from GT911.c gives errors as seen in included pictures. I have tried several guides because I have a gut feeling that the tgfx touch controller file still cannot see the driver fully.is there a easy way to get external library to work with the STM32TouchController.Cpp or is there a easi

Hello,I have already seen some old post about this topic, but without a clear explanation and solution. I have the following function, to configure and enable timer with the desired period. void HW_TIMER_Enable(uint32_t period){  LL_TIM_SetAutoReload(TIM6, period);   // reset counter register and prescaler counter register  LL_TIM_GenerateEvent_UPDATE(TIM6);  LL_TIM_ClearFlag_UPDATE(TIM6);   // enable timer and update event interrupt  LL_TIM_EnableIT_UPDATE(TIM6);  LL_TIM_EnableCounter(TIM6);} If I execute this function without optimizations (-O0), it works well. But if I activate optimizations, that inlines the LL functions code in the caller, eliminating the LL functions call overhead, it doesn't work any longer. In this last case, the IRQ is triggered immediately, and not at the end of the expected period. The reason seems to be due to necessity to add a delay between the UG and the UIF clear commands.Indeed, if I add a

Hi. I am using stm32L010C6Tx. After installing the program with ST-LINK, when I turn off the power and return it, the last program I installed does not work. I need to reload the code. I wondered if it wasn't writing to your Flash, but it looks full in cubeprogrammer. The NRST lead is connected to GND with a 100 nF capacitor. Boot0 end is idle. Any ideas as to why it might be?

Hi,Does anyone have an idea what i am doing wrong.I want tot test the X-CUBE-EEPROM v6.1.0 on a nucleo-C031C6 but get below errors when building the project.I import the project with import --> Existing projects into workspace C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.12.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.11.3.rel1.win32_1.1.1.202309131626/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/11.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/lib/thumb/v6-m/nofp\libc_nano.a(libc_a-closer.o): in function `_close_r':Description Resource Path Location TypeC:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.12.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.11.3.rel1.win32_1.1.1.202309131626/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/11.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/lib/thumb/v6-m/nofp\libc_nano.a(libc_a-lseekr.o): in function `_lseek_r': NUCLEO-C031C6 C/C++ ProblemDescription Resource Path Location TypeC:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.12.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools

Hi there, Just wondering if there are any 3.5" - 5" displays that are compatible with the Nucleo-H755ZI-Q. I require a standalone screen that is not attached to a development board. I am currently using the below screen: https://www.dfrobot.com/product-2107.html Any information would help. Thank you, Isaac

We are using interrupt of timer function.Currently, Period and Prescaler are set in the initial settings (MX_TIM6_Init), but what should I do if I want to dynamically change Period and Prescaler? [IDE]STM32CubeIDE 1.14.0[board] STM32F412 Discovery kit

Hello,Using CubeIDE v1.14.1, I would like to download memory to a file, for import into a worksheet, etc.  But I've not located the ability to do that, via the IDE menus.  Is there such a capability?  I'm initially dealing with floating point values, do it'd be ideal to download to a file in that format.  But any download format would be good, and could be massaged into float format after-the-fact.Regards,Robert

Hi there, I recently purchased the B-G431B-ESC1 and when I connect it to my USB port, immediately a red flashing light appears. There are two other solid green lights. I am also not able to connect my ST-LINK to flash firmware, and this may be related. But for that I am having issues installing the necessary drivers on my Windows10 laptop. I have downloaded the relevant drivers and upon installation I am told that they were installed successfully, yet when I launch Device Manager I am not able to see them anywhere. Furthermore, when I try to launch the ST-link utility software I am told it is unable to launch because of some missing DLL files, namely mfc140.dll, VCRUNTIME140.dll, and MSVCP140.dll. With a little online research on forums I see many suggesting I reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable. So I do that just (I remove what I had and installed Visual C++ Redistributable). But it did not help at all. Any help to get me started with this board would be

Hello  everyone,It is a quite basic question, I have this stm32767zi nucleo board with a LAN driver and rj45 connector, and I intend to test the basic ping/web server examples. So for now, I do not have a router with me, so I was wondering, if I could use my laptop as a router itself , if it is connected to the WiFi and connect my board to laptop using an Ethernet cable.

So is this chip now completely released or not?The product page is available and says it is active, but it does neither offer a reference manual nor a price indication.Form what I understand it is basically a BlueNRG-LPS with more Flash. Meaning the peripherals are all BlueNRG compatible but maybe not STM32 compatible? So if I have µC drivers for e.g. I2C and UART for the L0 and WB Variants of the STM32, are those easily portable or do I start from scratch (no I do not like to use the cube drivers, but that's a different discussion)?

Hello. I am confused about the amount of flash on an STM32F105VBT6. From the overview for the STM32F105/107 devices, I gather that this MCU should have 128 Kbytes of flash. And in STM32CubeProgrammer, in the lower right, it says that the target has 128 Kbytes of flash as well. However, I was able to program 139 Kbytes of flash, and it seems like I can successfully write 0x00000000 to the 4 bytes at 0x0803FFFC to 0x0803FFFF. So, the MCU seems to have 256 Kbytes, which is what an STM32F105VC should have. Does anyone know what's going on?

Hi,I am trying to assign Adc.Raw[0] and Adc.Raw[1] to Vref and Vtemp as in below code snippet. But, Vref and Vtemp gets 0. These variables never updated with Adc.Raw values.Could you please point me in the right direction ?

Hi there,I was wondering if the memory used to save the values in the device registers for the VL6180X sensor are volatile or non-volatile. This would affect how the sensors behaves during a power cycle. Could someone clarify this for me if possible? Thanks in advance.

I am experimenting with PWM DMA on STM32F407VET6. The code creates pulses of increasing width. If I enable the output compare preload, the number of pulses is 2 instead of 6.The first pulse at startup is the default setting from the configuration in MX and not the first DMA value. This makes sense as preload of output compare means to load when timer = 0 (if I am not mistaken). To make sure PWM values are not one off, I disabled the preload of the output compare register. In that case I get only 2 pulses and pulse generation stops? Why do I get only 2 pulses in that case?void HAL_TIM_PWM_PulseFinishedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { HAL_TIM_PWM_Stop_DMA(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_1); printf("HAL_TIM_PWM_PulseFinishedCallback: Transfer completed\n"); }     /........................../ Main loop extract:   for (int i=0; i<6;i++) pwmData[i] = 1+5*i; /* USER CODE END 2 */   /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHI

Hello, I am using an STM32L462 microcontroller with a crystal from Wurth: 830 016 178This crystal has a load capacitance of 6 pFI calculated the two load capacitors CL1 and CL2 to be 4.3 pFNow, everything is working OK, and the RTC is running fine...But as soon as I measure the signal with an oscilloscope ( 10 M ohm probe 12 pF) the signal diminishes to zero)Now, I understand that I add an additional 12 pF to the loop, but I am afraid that my solution is not stable. The drive level in the firmware is set to low.And if I turn it to high, it makes no change. The traces to the micro are 4mm and the other 5 mm long. In the reference manual of the STM32L462 they use also a chrystal with a load capacitance of 6pF ( with stopmode specifications they tell), but they have 6.8 pF capacitors can anyone advise me?

I have a B-L475E-IOT01A2 board. I'm trying to use the onboard microphones to record audio, using the DFSDM peripheral, and then send the data over UART to my PC to play it back. The thing is, the data I get is basically just static. Here is how I configured the DFSDM peripheral in CubeMX, based on the "DFSDM_AudioRecord" example for the eval boardsSource for output clock is audio clock. Hello, I have some trouble with FDCAN.Please let me know what is wrong with my settings. 1. Current problem: My STM32H7 transmit only error. (Logic Analyzer) (PCAN View)Same error signal repeat endless and if I connect PCAN, many other error and stuff error occur and can bus status become BUSHEAVY. I check where does HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ() return HAL_ERROR.First transmission, HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ() return HAL_OK(but in Logic analyzer and PCAN, it is just error) and in Second transmission, TXFQS is 0x00 20 00 00 and enter a if state under and return HAL_ERROR.I think it is become there was no ACK from PCAN. Therefore Tx Que in STM32 will not reset.Maybe PCAN can't give ACK to STM32 because STM32 didn't transmit hole CAN frame as you can see upper logic analyzer screenshot. 2. How I test CAN communication. This is what I setup for debugging.* I didn't attach 120 Ohm terminal resistor because length of CAN bus is short. (it is shorter th

We plan to design a stm32mp13x board equipped with 8MB psram using FMC interface as system RAM. It's going to be very slow but that's fine for our application, and standby power consumption is the topmost priority in this project. How should we deal with all DDR related pins, including both power and signal? Can all VDDQ_DDR and DDR_VREF pins be left floating? Or these power supplies is mandatory, at least a LDO with a few milliamperes output capability required? And how about all addr/data signal? I assume it is safe to left those pins floating but expect an official confirmation for assurance.

I encountered a weird problem when configuring user USB (CN13) of NUCLEO-F446ZE as a virtual COM port. If no other board (e.g., NUCLEO-IHM07M1) is stocked on, this USB can be recognized as a COM port in Windows 10. However, once NUCLEO-IHM07M1 is mounted, immediately the following message pops up. Any idea about the reasons? How to fix such an issue?

Hi, Regard I Problemed with stm32h747xi mcu. #Setting   - Power mode control is direct smps supply mode  - clock 480MHz  - VScale0 Setting  i saw stm32h7 user manual direct smps supply mode doesn't setting with 480MHzSo now I Know. But I don't know why it doesn't boot well at low temperatures. It seemed to boot well for 4 years at room temperature. When I tried to connect ST-link V2/V3, I checked that it didn't connect either.
