Solved

Hey all, I want to port this https://github.com/ArduCAM/STM32/tree/master/STM32F103 package to use for an STM32F446RE development board. Can anyone offer any advice as to the best practices of accomplishing this? Would it be modifying mapping of GPIOs, clock speed, and peripherals?

I'm working on CBM model for predicting maintenance on Motor and trying to analyze the bearing frequencies I have few questions to develop a solution based on STWIn-BX1 1) Mounting of the Board - is it necessary to mount the board on the Motor near the bearing? 2) the operating temperature range of the board is just up to 35degc, but the accelerometer and vibratory sensor is rated for 105degC, how to use the board for extended temperature range? 3) I currently use FP-data log firmware to capture the data and do analysis with math lab to predict the bearing frequencies. is there any way i can create a model to include the list of bearing frequencies that will enable me to create failure alerts based on magnitudes related to bearing and implement a decision tree. Using following settings:IDE : VS Code Programmer : Stm32Cube programmerStlink Debugger OS: Zephyr MCU: Stm32u5 series  I'm trying to use following link in order to sign application image: https://docs.zephyrproject.org/2.7.5/guides/west/sign.htmlIt keeps reporting invalid image after flashing the image. As shown in the screenshot shared below.Image is signed. Also tried unsigned but same issue. Can anyone please suggest what can be potential issue or are there any specific changes required in MCUboot from zephyr to make it work with STM32?

Hi,I am trying to debug both cores in STM32WL55CC chip. When trying debugging CM0+ i get error. I am using STM32CubeIDE ver 1.14.1 and also tried STM32CubeIDE ver 1.8 per a suggestion in older post, both don't work. The followings are the configurations and error I am getting. M4 running under debug:and now starting M0 under debug:   M4 code is indeed running but debugger seems preoccupied with it and won’t share the resource for M0 debugging.Thanks.Ayman

Hi,the STM32WL55's reference manual states:> BW[DSB] > BR + 2 x frequency deviation + frequency errorHowever, in the SubGHz_Phy_Per example, FSK is configured as follows:   #define FSK_FDEV 25000 /* Hz */ #define FSK_DATARATE 50000 /* bps */ #define FSK_BANDWIDTH 50000 /* Hz */   Therefore, "BR + 2 x frequency deviation" would be equal to 100000Hz. But the bandwidth is set to just 50000Hz. But the example still works. Why? The gaussian filter (BT=0.5) reduces the bandwith, but not that much. The reference manual also states:> In receive mode, the bandwidth is automatically adjusted to match the selected data rateDoes this mean I don't have to specify the bandwidth? Is the following interpretation of the FSK frequency parameters correct?

I'm trying to update the duty cycle of 3 channels of timer 1 simultaneously with just one DMA event.

Hi,I have scoured the web for a solution to this problem, but I cannot find one, typically the replies are the same, but the solution is never found. I have tried every other solution you will find.I was playing around with the cube mx trying to solve my problem with this, and I'm not sure what changed, but the cube mx generated a program which actually made HAL_Delay work correctly.I have used the STM32CubeIDE with CubeMX generated code for many projects in the past with relatively no issues.STM32F105STLINK_V3Firmware Package: STM32Cube FW_F1 V1.8.5STM32CubeIDE version 1.13.0MXCube Version 6.9The Problem:To summarise the problem, the application will freeze at HAL_Delay();  The reason for this is because within the file stm32f1xx_t.c , the SysTick_Handler will not be called, and hence HAL_IncTick(); will also never increment the uwTick counter.  Clearly the Systick Interrupt isn't being triggered. void SysTick_Handler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN SysTick_I

Hi, i'm trying to power an usb-c device that needs 5v 2A, with a power supply (5v 8A) that doesn't support power delivery. For doing that i tried to use the evaluation board EVAL-SCS002V1 connecting the power supply wires (+ and -) to the green connector and the usb-c one to the device to power on. The result is that only the board blu led is turning on that means "default USB current".How can i negotiate for more current? What am i doing wrong? Please help me :folded_hands:.Regards,Giacomo

Is there an application or example about an "audio playback" project using the SAI interface (SAIA-SAIB) connected to a Codec ?I'm using the Nucleo NUH723ZG board. Thank you, Carlo

Hi,We have designed a board based on ST25R3911B and it is about to be tested by a Notified Body with regards to RED/EMC.In relation to this, I am wondering if there is ready-made SW available, that can be used for setting the radio to transmit a single tone on a given channel? It is needed as part of the RED-testing. Br,Chato

I try to just toggle a led for each received frame (STD ID).With a logic analyser I checked the Rx pin on the Rx MCU and the frames arrive well. Hence my feeling that the problem lies at the level of the callback function where the MCU never go.Thank you in advance for the help you will be able to give me.

Hi, I have a question regarding antenna design for my project, creating an NFC reader. I am a beginner (student) when it comes to development. Why is the antenna connected to GND? Does it have to be this way, and is there a detailed explanation somewhere about why it is connected this way?On the ST25R3916-DISCO, it is also laid out but not connected (no solder bridge).

ADC1_IN1ADC2_IN3ADC3_IN1 As i want to measure few signals simultaneously.can i configure by this way like ADC1, ADC2, ADC 3 or Separate channels from same ADC1

Hi, is it possible to use the ST25R3916B with an resisitve divider (instead of the capacitive divider) at the RF Inputs to limit the input voltage to a safe value. In case this is possible, is an additional DC-Block needed?I am driving a purely resistive load with the RF Outputs. Thank you very much. Moritz

Hello,Could you please help me with handling a same channel I2C protocol between 2 core.I have two devices connected on the same I2C channel(I2C1). I want to run one device on M7 core and another on M4 core. How to handle the communication between the devices and the microcontroller so that there is no interference during communication?- RegardsHrishikesh

Hello Team,   I need to connect following two devices with STM32H753ZIT6. 1. NAND Flash- MT29F64G08AFAA 2. RTC SRAM- DS1747WP-120IND+   Kindly review the attached schematics & let me know if any changes are required. I am little worried about write protection pin (W/P# - pin 19) in NAND flash as there is no specific pin in FMC for it. so have connected it just with one of the I/O pin of STM controller. same issue is with the RST# pin in RTC SRAM.   Thanks in advance. Rohit

Hi,  This is a weird one. When my controller starts up, it is supposed to read the flash and use this data to check if my lwip should start up in DHCP mode or with a static IP adres. When I don't read from flash, this code works fine, when I do read from flash It breaks after a while.Anyone any ideas? I have tried debugging en have found that he kinda gets stuck in queue.c on line 1794. But I don't understand how these are related. This is my code: void StartDefaultTask(void const * argument) { /* init code for LWIP */ MX_LWIP_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 5 */ readFromFlash(&configIRIS); osPrintf("debug", "read form flash"); //restart with static if(configIRIS.ETHuseDHCP == 0){ customInitLwip(); } //init netconn http_server_netconn_init(); //debug message osPrintf("INIT", "LWIP_TASK"); //init flag lwipInitFlag = 1; //clear busy led HAL_GPIO_WritePin(MCL_GREEN_GPIO_Port, MCL_GREEN_Pin, 0); /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) { //debug prin

Could you add NVM option for zigbee stm32WBA in cubeMX ?It's essential for developement of application (persistence and coord association...)thanks

Hi,I am designing an NFC transmitter that uses ST25R3916B-AQWT. The coil will be connected to the RFO1/2 pins. In order to design the coil properly, I will need to know the driver's impedance spec for the various d_res<3:0> multiplier values (Table 78 of the ST25R3916B Datasheet).I was able to find the resistance values and also measure them using a resistor as the load to calculate the driver output impedance (sum of both RFO1/2). It approximately correlated to Table 126 and Table 78. Results and calculation used attached below. I used an oscilloscope to measure the load voltage.  What I am unable to measure with this method, and need to know, is the imaginary part of these measurements. In other words, what the capacitive and inductive loads are as well for at least the RFO1 and RFO2 drive output value (i.e. Table 126). Please let me know if you have these specs or an idea of how to measure. Thanks so much for your help. -Sam

Hello,I will configure the boot mode in the option bytes of the STM32G030F6. Now I see only the nBOOT1. I missing the nBOOT_SEL and nBOOT0.In the refernce manual are describe all:How can I cinfigure it?And after the programming I will reload the option bytes with setting of the OP_LAUNCH flag. Can I do it with the STM32Programmer and how? Thanks for our help,Bernd

I encountered an issue with the "Fx_NoR_Write_Read_File" application example. Hello,I am trying to make my own custom USB PD application on NucleoG0B1RE + SNK1M1 hardware.I want to change dynamically the SNK PDOs in my application (it should be possible according to this post). Since I want it to be working with various Source adapters and I dont know their PDOs appriory I want to copy the SRC PDOs into SNK list (if they not exceed the sink power limits, like 100W). So I have updated the USB_USER_SERV_StoreSRCPDO() function located in usbpd_user_services.c:  /** * @brief Store the received source PDO * @PAram PortNum Port number * @PAram Ptr Pointer on the data * @PAram Size Nb of bytes to be updated in DPM * @retval None */ void USBPD_USER_SERV_StoreSRCPDO(uint8_t PortNum, uint8_t *Ptr, uint32_t Size) { /*!< Storage of Received Source PDO values */ if (Size <= (USBPD_MAX_NB_PDO * 4U)) { uint8_t *rdo; DPM_Ports[PortNum].DPM_NumberOfRcvSRCPDO = (Size / 4U); /* Copy PDO data in DPM Handle field */ for (uint32_t index = 0; index < (S

Hi, I am loading a .ucf file on the STWIN using the ST BLE Sensor Classic app, and then performing data logging using an SD card. In the resulting SD card files (STWIN_XXXXX) I get some files, including ISM330DHCX_MLC.dat, the outputs/classifications of the MLC that I want to save (instead of just viewing them in the app).  Using the HSDPython_SDK examples from the FP_SNS_DATALOG1 package, I am able to export the .dat files for the raw sensor data (e.g. ISM330DHCX_ACC.dat), using the "hsdatalog_data_export.py" script, but not for the ISM330DHCX_MLC.dat. file (which I can plot and view as a dataframe, but I am unable to export it to a .csv/.tsv file). Can you let me know how I can export the contents of the ISM330DHCX_MLC.dat file to a .csv/.tsv file? Is there a specific command line argument I should specify, or should I tweak something inside the "hsdatalog_data_export.py" script? Thanks in advance.
