I am looking to purchase an evaluation board for the VL53L8CH in order to take advantage of the CNH data for potential use in AI models.The below expansion board web page has the below text (Link below) Time-of-Flight expansion board based on the VL53L8 series for STM32 Nucleo:VL53L8CX Low-power high-performance 8x8 multizone ToF sensorVL53L8CH Artificial intelligence enabler, high performance 8x8 multizone ToF sensorI already have a VL53L8CX, which lacks the CNH data. The info on the web page has both part numbers, however I think only the VL53L8CH has the functionality I require.X-NUCLEO-53L8A1 - Time-of-Flight expansion board based on the VL53L8 series for STM32 Nucleo - STMicroelectronics This is just the expansion board. I guess the main board could be the following board.This page has the main board and expansion board. P-NUCLEO-53L8A1 - STM32 Nucleo pack with X-NUCLEO-53L8A1 expansion board and NUCLEO-F401RE development board - STMicroelectronics&nb

Hi,I've purchased the ST25R3911B-DISCO and it's working fine with ST25PC-NFC.exe.I would like to communicate via uart with ST25R3911B-DISCO in order to implement the tag reading in Labview. There is any document that explain how to create packets to communicate via uart? Or there is any mode of using ST25PC-NFC.exe without GUI and implement the communication via command window? Thank for the support

Hello all,I was trying to build Linux kernel and push into my STM32MP135F-DK. For this, I was following the steps below link (Modify, rebuild and reload the Linux® kernel):https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP135x-DK/Develop_on_Arm%C2%AE_Cortex%C2%AE-A7/Modify,_rebuild_and_reload_the_Linux%C2%AE_kernelNothing seemed wrong to me until "5.4. Reboot the board" step. After I rebooted the board, only the ST logo appears for a while, then it disappears and a black screen appears for a few seconds, then the ST logo appears again. This loop continues constantly and never switches to other screens (Linux splash screen, Weston desktop, GTK demo launcher).I have no idea why I experienced such a thing since everything seemed correct until the reboot step. I wondered if I had pushed the wrong device tree in the "5.2. Push the device tree into the board" step in the link above (since I was using STM32MP135F-DK, I pushed the stm32mp135f-dk.dtb one). But I am not su

Hi Everyone,I want to know Is any possible way available so I can upload firmware for my custom stm32 board using Command Line Interface? ST providing any Command Line Interface and commands?Unfortunately, I could not find ST Cube Programmer CLI. I can use ST cube programmer GUI but I want CLI.I have 2 custom boards. I want to upload firmware for both devices using CLI. My controller is STM32G family and STM32H family. Thanks in advance

Hi,I have a new PCB design using the ST25R95 chip.The application : Communicate with a moving tag with a reader (ST25R95). The distance is fixed (5mm) and the tags move under the reader. The problem : there is a dead spot at that distance when the tag is exactly in the center of the reader (at 5mm). I can read the tag coming from left to right, but there is no communication when the tag and the reader are aligned.Is there some parameters I can change like this similar post ? It's not the same chip and this problem occurs with NFC tags on cardboard (no metal bags) https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/nfc-reading-distance-has-a-dead-spot/m-p/675706#M10795Thanks!

Hello.I am using STM32C0 to do FLASH writing, I want to use 4 pages from page12~15 to do FLASH writing because the data I want to write in FLASH is not enough for 1 page.Currently(1) FLASH unlocking(2)page12 flash erase(3) page12 FLASH write------------------------------------(4) page13 flash eraseWhen I design a program in this order, if I only write (1) to (3), it can write to page12 normally, but if I write (1) to (4), writing to page12 does not work either.Is it possible to write to multiple pages in one program? Also, when editing multiple pages, in what order should I perform flash unlock, erase, and write? Best regards,

Hi there,I was working on a project that uses the STM32H7S7I8T6 and was a bit confused when I saw the pinout that is given in the IOC graphical editor or whatever it is called exactly. It seems like the pinout for the LQFP176 GFx was used instead of the non-GFx version. For example if we look at the bottom right-hand corner then we see some big differences between the packages:Specifically on the right side we see a bunch of power domain pins on the GFx version, but those aren't there on the non-GFx version:Now if we look at the online CAD model that ST provides, we see that the pin numbers and names match up with the non-GFx version:Now if we look at the pinmap for the H7S7I8Tx in the CubeIDE then we see that it supposedly uses the GFx pinout, which I think is incorrect:Of course this doesn't make a difference when programming the microcontroller, but it is a confusing to say the least.Is this something I did wrong in the CubeIDE, or is this an actual incorrect pinmap?

I have a big issue with the STEVAL MKSBOX1V1. I was making some attempts to work with the Vibration Monitoring Example (made up of "Training" and "Compare" sub-processes). After having successfully run the example on the firmware preloaded on the SensorTile.box, I made some changes to the examples in order to stream data over Bluetooth, so I uploaded a custom firmware. Af this the SensorTile proposed to me to upgrade to firmware 3.4.9, so I accepted it and the new firmware was correctly uploaded. I noticed however that the example didn't work correctly anymore, since the "switch lamp" that should be light-on only when an anomaly vibration was detected, was always lighted on after the firmware upgrade. So I checked the possibility to swap to previous firmware version, but no possibility was provided within the app and on the ST site, associated to the  STEVAL MKSBOX1V1, I found only one firmware with description "SensorTile.box firmware OTA function restore". In the details "T

I am trying to figure out SPI communication between two microcontrollers: I have an STM32H755 Nucleo and a Nucleo G47RE. I tested basic communication by shorting MOSI and MISO on both boards separately, and it works in full duplex master mode. Both core are running at 100Mhz The G4 is the slave and it is receiving some data, but it is corrupted. What could be the potential reason?   These are my configurations and code: /****************************************************** Slave side****************************************************/   // Main Function int main(void) { HAL_Init(); // Configure the system clock SystemClock_Config(); // Initialize all configured peripherals MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_SPI2_Init(); MX_SPI1_Init(); MX_LPUART1_UART_Init(); MX_I2C1_Init(); // Start SPI reception in interrupt mode HAL_SPI_Receive_IT(&hspi1, rx_buffer, sizeof(tx_buffer)); // Infinite loop while (1) { // #define FULL_DUPLEX #ifdef FULL_DUPLEX HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_IT(&hspi

Hi, I want to generate a 1 microsecond (1 µs) timer interrupt on the STM32G0B1RCT6 microcontroller using its internal clock(16MHz). I am currently using a 16-bit timer to achieve a 5 microsecond delay, but I cannot achieve a 1 microsecond delay. My question is: what is the smallest achievable delay in microseconds for a 16-bit and a 32-bit timer?

Hello,I'm trying to find out why nx_tcp_client_socket_connect is returning 0x38. This error code is not listed in documentation. Because of this, there is no ARP packet being sent. static VOID nx_app_thread_entry (ULONG thread_input){UINT status;status = nx_tcp_socket_create(&NetXDuoEthIpInstance, &client_socket, "Client Socket",NX_IP_NORMAL, NX_FRAGMENT_OKAY, NX_IP_TIME_TO_LIVE, 200,NX_NULL, NX_NULL);status = nx_tcp_client_socket_bind(&client_socket, 45450, NX_WAIT_FOREVER);status = nx_tcp_client_socket_connect(&client_socket, IP_ADDRESS(192, 168, 15, 16), 45450, NX_IP_PERIODIC_RATE);}

Hi, I am trying to communicate via FDCAN with a board equipped with a STM32G0 by using this library https://github.com/owennewo/SimpleCAN I already tested it successfully with both STM32H743 and STM32H723 but I am having troubles with the G0  When I try to send a message from the G0 I get error code 200 back from the serial logs Does anyone have an idea of why is this happening?

Hello,I am using STM32H745XIH6 controller Board, and a display resolution of 480 x 480. In my application I need to move the box widget to a particular x and y positions. The thing is we need a smooth movement of the box at  a particular position. In the interaction 1, Am selecting the "Screen transition begins" in the trigger, and the action to "move the widget i.e. Box 1" and the "y value(ex: 300)" for the position to move the box.And the box moved to the particular position that I have mentioned. but when I have added another interaction after some animation delay to move the same widget to another position by changing the value in interaction 2(y value changed to 100) then the box directly goes from '0' to '100' rather than changing from '0' to '300'(box will move downwards first) and '300' to '100'(box will move upwards next).Could you please help me in this regards?

does MEMS studio support STEVAL-STWIN KT1B board ; cause according to the UM (https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um3233-getting-started-with-memsstudio-stmicroelectronics.pdf) only STEVAL-STWIN KT1 Hardware compatible (not with full/reduced sensor evaluation) just for algobuilder functionality.

Hello,After installing version 1.15.1 of CubeIDE, the labels in the column headers 'System Core/NVIC/Code generation' disappeared. It's not a big issue, but it's a bit annoying.Look at the below image.

I would like to show some texts on the display when running the "debug" build configuration, but not when code is compiled for the "release".How to?TouchGFX (4.23.1) generates the code and STM32CubeIDE (1.14.1) builds and flashes the project.

I am designing to mount LPS25HB on the board.Communication is I2C.Please help me with the connection of Pin 7 (INT_DRDY).Is this pin an open pad? Or does it need to be connected to GND?
