Hello, I inherited a ST25R3916B design with two antennas.I need to change the design to one antenna interface.Is there any detailed schematic with ST25R3916B and one antenna?ThanksShay

Hello, I have a trouble when I tried to change AMP I2C adreess on AVAS EVK which is based on AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1(https://www.st.com/en/solutions-reference-designs/sl-ssasf011101v1.html ) like the below. 1. In Allocation pin page, I just do "Delocation" and then "Allocation" without any action.2. After Compile and download, the Amp doesn't work even though it worked very well before.3. When I checked pinmap, the pin map was changed.  - Before - After(Only Blue parts are same with before....) I don't know why the pin map is changed. How to avoid this?? Thanks,

Ok, so I tried to follow https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32StepByStep:Getting_started_with_USB-Power_Delivery_Sink for an example on how to use STM32G0B1 family as a simple USBC Power delivery sink. The Article seems to have received an update on June 2024 so it suggested to be rather up-to-date. Unfortunately, lots (!) of things have changed when I try to reproduce the settings that are done in CubeMX in the Tutorial. For some settings I am quite sure that I found the "correspondence" in the current version of CubeIDE/CubeMX but with others, one is really lost because settings or variables just don´t exist anymore or new ones were added. It makes not even sense to ask for all of these here, because really a lot of different things in different tabs or sections have changed. If the Wiki should allow a more or less useful "getting started" approach, this is really broken. Has anybody followed the guide with a more of less recent version of the G0 FW Libs and a more or less recent C

A high-frequency DC testing power supply product that uses LM235 to measure the temperature of the heat sink (aluminum), and the measurement circuit is shown in the above figure:The temperature range of the radiator is also within the temperature range of LM235 (TO-92/-40 ℃,+125 ℃). The product is placed in a high-temperature box for 40 ℃ full power aging test. The maximum temperature of the aluminum heat sink is about 90 ℃, and the aging test time is 6 hours;During the aging process, if the temperature value detected by LM235 (voltage between measurement positions ① and ②, refer to the circuit diagram) is about 20 ℃ higher than the actual temperature (aluminum radiator), it will cause the product to have a false alarm (HOT-ERR);Question 1:This temperature measurement circuit has not been adjusted in any way, and LM335, which has been used for 23 years, has basically not had this problem; Recently, there have been multiple instances of LM335 being damaged, and now replacing it with LM2

Hello, I am trying to add source files in my project, the folder is organized like this : - events :     |  - include :     |      |  - events :     |      |      |  - internal :     |      |      |      |  - Some header files [A]     |      |      |  - Some other header files [B]     |  - source :     |      |  -  .c and .cpp filesI copied the same path list to GCC asm, GCC compiler, G++ compiler : When compiling i get "include not found" errors, i think it fails when including "folder/header.h" instead of just "header.h", but I am not certain.arm-none-eabi-g++ "../mbed-os/events/source/mbed_shared_queues.cpp" -mcpu=cortex-m4 -std=gnu++17 -g3 -DDEVICE_MPU=1 -DCONFIG_BAT_24V_LIION -DHW_ID=3

It's the first time I encounter this issue so I'm not familiar with it. It happens with the command "west flash". The problem started after upgrading Zephyr to v3.6.0. Prior to that it was working. Hello, I've been trying to port over ST OpenBootloader for use with an STM32L431KBUx over CAN. I specifically want to use CAN pins PA11 and PA10 as those are what are available in the package I chose. As I am porting over the ST Openbootloader code found here: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-mw-openbl I noticed a few strange things:1. there is no can_interface file set so I had to write my own2. the project calls for app_openbootloader file set but those do not exist in the project so I grabbed it from an example project. I am also following this application note: https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/cd00264321-can-protocol-used-in-the-stm32-bootloader-stmicroelectronics.pdf Anyway, I got past these issues no problem. The issue I am running into now is when I try to connect my STLink V3SET to the STM32L431 over CAN using STM32CUBEProgrammer. When I hit connect, the program sends over CAN STD ID 0x79 with no data. My code will se

 Hello everyone,I'm working on an in-application firmware update for an STM32H7 series microcontroller. The process involves erasing and then writing to the flash memory. I can successfully erase bank 2, but I'm encountering an issue when writing to the flash.Issue Description: After the first 256 bits (flash-word) are written without any error, the subsequent write operations result in an inconsistency error. Interestingly, even though the HAL_FLASH_Program function returns an error, when I compare the write buffer with the flash memory, all the data appears to have been written correctly.Code Snippet:HAL_StatusTypeDef flash_write(uint32_t address, uint8_t* data, size_t size) { HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_OK; HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); for (size_t i = 0; i < size; i += 8) { if (address + i <= (FLASH_END_ADDRESS - 8)) { status = HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_FLASHWORD, address + i, (uint32_t )data + i); // if (status != HAL_OK) { // break; // Exit if there's an error

Hello,I have STM32G031 and I want to use PA8 pin (TIM1_CH1) to count pulses. My idea is to read number of counted pulses every 1 second and reset counter to 0. void TIM1_Init(void) { // Enable TIM1 clock RCC->APBENR2 |= RCC_APBENR2_TIM1EN; // Configure TIM1 as external counter on TI1 (PA8) TIM1->ARR = 0xFFFF; // Set auto-reload register to maximum value TIM1->PSC = 0; // No prescaler TIM1->SMCR &= ~TIM_SMCR_SMS_Msk; TIM1->SMCR |= TIM_SMCR_SMS_2; // External clock mode 1 TIM1->SMCR &= ~TIM_SMCR_TS_Msk; TIM1->SMCR |= TIM_SMCR_TS_2 | TIM_SMCR_TS_0; // TI1FP1 as trigger TIM1->CCMR1 &= ~TIM_CCMR1_CC1S_Msk; TIM1->CCMR1 |= TIM_CCMR1_CC1S_0; // CC1 channel is configured as input, IC1 is mapped on TI1 TIM1->CCER &= ~TIM_CCER_CC1P; // Capture/Compare 1 output polarity: non-inverted // Enable counter TIM1->CR1 |= TIM_CR1_CEN; } and every 1 second reset: // Read counter value from TIM1 pulse_count = TIM1->CNT; // Rese

I tried to set up a project and to do the calibration of the sensor IIS2MDC on my B-U585I-IOT02A Board I want to use MotionMCNow the floating-point-ABI ist set to Hardware implementation and the Middleware used is the MotionMC Library MotionMC_CM33F_wc32_ot_hard.a But when I use the function MotionMC_Initialize(sampletime, enable) it ends up in an infinite loop. What solutions could I try to solve this?

Hello, We are trying to run 4 installations of these B-G431B-ESC1 motor control boards, and have faced some technical challenges.This is a very bare-bones test-setup to get the installation and programming workflow worked out. In a nutshell:A new board fresh out of the package, works when connected via STLINK-V2 and opened in STM32CubeProgrammer.We can install the Firmware file (B-G431B-ESC1#B-G431B-ESC1 3Sh#(6.1.2).hex)We can open the MotorControl Workbench and configure a project, then Generate the Project, open the project in STM32CubeIDE and finally run and debug the configuration. Seems to work as intended. The problems start when we solder the peripherals onto the board.. How delicate is the board to heat transfer while soldering? We have "practiced" 2 boards, so they fell victim to erroneus handling and incorrect soldering technique. Third board we have installed peripherals to, we checked the following:The board was found via STLINK-V2 in STM32 STLINK U

We are noticing a difference in the firmware when it is running on the P-NUCLEO-WB55 boardsOn P-NUCLEO-WB55 - MB1355C-02 based evaluation board.- The BLE works correctly. We are able to connect to the device send multiple BLE commands to request the dataOn P-NUCLEO-WB55 - MB1355D-01 based evaluation board- The BLE initially works properly for one BLE command. Then when requesting 2nd BLE command the connection between the board and mobile app sending the BLE command terminates. Any idea what could be the issue?

That is the ST-link V3 on NUCLEO-H755ZI board.The HSE MCO option is set to HSE/3, how to change it to HSE/5.Usually this is configurable in code, but this is ST-link firmware. If there is a way to change the division value, please some one let me know.

Have a question on TouchGFX with ThreadX and the SysTimer tick resolution.I'm porting a sw written for TouchGFX+FreeRTOS to use ThreadX (using STM32F746 and STM32CubeIDE).I have already figured out how to make ThreadX work and how to start the TouchGFX task under ThreadX.In the TouchGFX documention under Real Time Operating System bindings it says:"Select the ThreadX setting tab and set TX_TIMER_TICKS_PER_SECOND to 1000 to get ticks once per millisecond."I know that the native timer tick resolution for ThreadX is 100Hz, and here it suggests to set it to 1000Hz.Is this something that TouchGFX needs or uses, or is it just a way to make it identical to what FreeRTOS uses?Would TouchGFX use OS timer tick to do some animations or screen transitions, or does that come from LTDC/VSYNC interrupt?In that case TouchGFX software would not care about what the OS timer tick frequency is...Am I right, or have I misunderstood or neglected something?

Hello,I am trying to make a wifi list using STM32H750B-DK. I designed my screen and add scroll list in it. I am receiving the wifi list from the esp32 and I want to show them on my list. I manage the copy it in my container but I got an issue. When I tried to invalidate it, it is not showing the wifi's until I scroll it down or up. Does anybody have an idea?  void WiFiScreenView::wifiSSIDListUpdateItem(wifiSSIDContainer& item, int16_t itemIndex) { if(isWiFiListReceived){ item.refreshWiFi(itemIndex); } wifiSSIDList.invalidate(); } Here is my update item code and wifiSSIDList is my scroll list not the container. And this is my container code. void wifiSSIDContainer::refreshWiFi(uint8_t idx) { const char* wifiName = WiFiList[idx]; Unicode::strncpy(textWiFiNameBuffer, wifiName,TEXTWIFINAME_SIZE); textWiFiName.setWildcard(textWiFiNameBuffer); textWiFiName.invalidate(); }  If anybody have an idea I am open to try it.

Hello All,I have implemented a simple Web server using https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeF7/tree/master/Projects/STM32756G_EVAL/Applications/LwIP/LwIP_HTTP_Server_Socket_RTOS example. The Get method works fine but as soon as I use the POST method I get "The connection was reset" message in my web browser. I am not too famuliar with http protocol so not sure of POST method needs to be treated differently. Below is just sime snip of the code   static void http_server_serve(struct netconn *conn) { static void http_server_serve(struct netconn *conn) { . . . if ((buflen >=5) && (strncmp(buf, "GET /", 5) == 0)) { /* Check if request to get ST.gif */ if (strncmp((char const *)buf,"GET /STM32F7xx_files/ST.gif",27)==0) { fs_open(&file, "/STM32F7xx_files/ST.gif"); netconn_write(conn, (const unsigned char*)(file.data), (size_t)file.len, NETCONN_NOCOPY); fs_close(&file); } . . . } else if ((buflen >=6) && (strncmp(b

 Hi,I want to add a function in the code to update the option bytes and set the read protection to level 1. However, this version sometimes bricks the MCU (STM32G030K8) after flashing, making it unable to connect with the J-Link.Q1: Why am I unable to reconnect to the J-Link? Shouldn't it be possible to connect if it enters the system flash (as long as the MCU is not physically damaged, it should theoretically be reprogrammable)?Q2: Is there any way to recover the MCU from the bricked state?Q3: Is this issue caused by a flaw in my code, or is it a problem with the MCU itself?===========Here are my reproduce steps:I added optionByteInit() during the initialization phase in the code.Built for Debug and generated a Hex file.Flashed it using J-Link SWD (using STM32CubeProgrammer).After successful flashing, I powered off the MCU and then tried to connect using STM32CubeProgrammer.Failed to connect.void optionByteInit(void){ FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef pOBInit; /* Read the original Op

There is application note AN4457 which introduce UART emulation. And it says all GPIOs can be configures as UART_TX/RX. But how many? Can I use them simultaneously?AN4457 page 6

Hello forum!I'm struggling to enable the burst feature described in the applicationnote from stm.I'm using cube IDE and I configured timer1 along with DMA1 to generate a specific waveform.Problem is, that after enabling the PWM via "HAL_TIM_PWM_START_DMA()",the call to HAL_TIM_DMAburst_Multiwrite() failes with HAL_BUSY. The initial values are set but the update does not work. Are there any experiences to use this feature using cubeIDE (Cubemx)?

I tried demo project from repo/STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.3.0/Projects/B-WL5M-SUBG1/Applications/Lorawan/LoRaWAN_End_Node. i change the Region to my region on Lorawan minddleware setting on CubeMX.After  "debug as" STM32 C/C++ application and got warning "Projects using Sigfox, LoRaWAN or SubGHz_Phy may require a customized linker file." what does it means ?What does it means? and after debug as , got many error.I follow this video tutor from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL-7YqUFl0k seems works for Nucleo-WL55.Anyone can help ?

I'm using the STM32L475 processor with STM32CubeMX 6.11.1.I have configured ADC1 to read two channels, an external input and the internal temperature - see configuration image in CubeMX. The code to drive the adc reading is simple:int16_t Channel;void Adc_Convert(void){    Channel = 0;    if (HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc1) != HAL_OK)    {        for(;;) ;    }}void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef * hadc){    Adc.Result[Channel] = HAL_ADC_GetValue(hadc);    Channel++;}void HAL_ADC_ErrorCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef * hadc){    uint32_t err = HAL_ADC_GetError(hadc);}Adc_Convert()  is called once every 2 seconds. I only ever get 1 end-of-conversion interrupt, so the temeprature input is never being read - I can see this both by looking at the Adc.Result array and by using breakpoints to confirm. HAL_ADC_ErrorCallbackI() is never called.This

New to STM32. Ordered myself a Nucleo-U545RE-Q Board for software generation used in an embedded project later. Generated a project and started working on it. First it worked just fine. But since mid of last week (start of August), most likely after an update which was installed, it wont crate a working IOC for new projects with the board anymore. New projects for other controllers or other Nucleo-boards work just fine.More specifically as seen in following screenshot, all pins which should be pre- configured with a function for the Nucleo board produce a conflict. The USART1 function is fully grayed out and not configurable. During project creation the options for the USER features are ticked as seen in following picture:  the right pins seem to get configured in a wrong way.My current STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.16.0                                           &

I had to calculate the sine wave signal in function generator voltage and the adc value I had implemented while changing frequency the voltage and adc values are constant I had stucked in this

Hi,I would like to ask a question about STM32 OV2640 usage. My task is; take an output data from OV2640 and send to Computer via USART. When I communicate with UART, I took an output which shown in the figure. I did not is it true or wrong output but after output I'll try to convert data to image with python matplotlib library.  /* USER CODE BEGIN Header *//********************************************************************************* @file : main.c* @brief : Main program body******************************************************************************* @attention** Copyright (c) 2023 STMicroelectronics.* All rights reserved.** This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file* in the root directory of this software component.* If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS.********************************************************************************//* USER CODE END Header *//* Includes ------------------------------------------

Is it possible to use any STM32 microcontroller, particularly the STM32H5, with the STEVAL-MKI227KA evaluation kit that based on LSM6DSV16X sensor? I’ve only found information regarding the STM32F4.
