Hi,I am working on stm32g491re custom board.I am using STM32cubeide  and segger jlink debugger with serial wire debug. After flashing the firmware program getting struct at intializationlike HAL_GPIO_INIT()and HAL_TIMER_init()if I try to suspend the running/restart the controller through IDE i am getting issue like belowNo source available for "(gdb[18].proc[42000].threadGroup[i1],gdb[18].proc[42000].OSthread[1]).thread[1].frame[0]"and Break at address "0x1fff469a" with no debug information available, or outside of program code.Break at address "0x1fff408e" with no debug information available, or outside of program codeIn GPIO i am using one exti gpio if i comment it's executing remaining program.Same happens with timer interrupt also.Is there thing missing for interrupts and its not happening every time 8 out of 10 times its happening.  Any one can suggestThanks

Dear All,I am attempting to migrate a project from a STM32F74NGH MCU to a STM32U599NJH MCU.In the F7 MCU I am applying the PWM on CH1 of TIM3 that corresponds to pin PB4.On the new setup I need to apply the PWM to pin PC5, which corresponds to TIM1, CH4N.I am a bit confused on what exactly does the N mean in CH4N. So far I have not been able to drive my device as expected using the PWM. If I set PC5 to output and set it properly then my external device is operating as expecting for a 100% dutycycle. In my old project the Internal Clock was set to 200MHz and this is the configuration of timer 3:Initing PWM is done like this: HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_1); Changing the dutycycle: __HAL_TIM_SET_COMPARE(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_1, value); where the value is between 0 and 100.In my new project the clock is running at 160MHz.My CubeMX configuration looks like this: The rest for now remains the same except that I am using TIM1 and TIM_CHANNEL_4 for init a

I'm having issues while trying to generate a project for the L152. When I attempt to install the firmware package for this micro, CubeMX prompts me to log in. However, the login window displays some oscillating bars and then asks me to check the internet connection. Interestingly, when I click to check for updates, CubeMX successfully verifies the installed package versions using the network.I tried to manually download and install the STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32L1 series, but when I try to install the latest patch, 1-10-4, it indicates that it cannot find the file stm32cube_fw_l1_v1100.zip. The downloaded package is named stm32cube_fw_l1_v1-10-0.zip, so I attempted to rename it, but the same error persists. In summary, creating a project for the L152 using CubeMX seems impossible.

Yes. I know that is possible to program the STM32MP by using ST-link V2 in CM4 inside STM32CubeIDE.I want to know if its possible to generate e.g .bin/.stm32 files from CM4 and paste them into a FlashLayout, and then later program it over STM32CubeProgammer.My goal is to run bare bones code and program that over USB.

 I'm trying to program the STM32MP1 processor over the ST-LINK V2 probe.But I'm facing some issues. My device cannot be found.    STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. Hello, first of all, I hope im at the right section for my question. If not I'm sorry.I'm relativ new in working with Nucleo Boards and currently working on a Project where i want to generate a chirp signal/sinus sweep from -20kHz up to 20kHz.I made myself the following table in excel to have all the values. /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */ uint32_t sweep_val[4096] = {4095, 2578, 277, 590, 3051, 4033, 2097, 88, 947, 3413, 3886, 1682, 9, 1293, 3668, 3699, 1347, 4, 1598, 3836, 3511, 1093, 38, 1845, 3939, 3347, 914, 84, 2025, 3996, 3226, 802, 123, 2135, 4023, 3158, 748, 142, 2175, 4030, 3147, 749, 137, 2146, 4019, 3195, 805, 108, 2047, 3985, 3298, 920, 64, 1878, 3919, 3448, 1102, 20, 1642, 3802, 3630, 1359, 0, 1345, 3615, 3821, 1697, 33, 1004, 3336, 3988, 2115, 155, 646, 2948, 4086, 2598, 403, 317, 2445, 4063, 3110, 805, 78, 1846, 3868, 3590, 1369, 1, 1201, 3459, 3952, 2069, 160, 595, 2829, 4095, 2832, 603, 151, 2025, 3925, 3530, 1327, 1, 1160, 3393, 3997, 2248, 258, 419, 2532, 4063,

Hello, is it possible to ușe the LwIP Middleware over the low level library for an external PHY such as ENC28J60?If so, could you pinpoint me to a documentation or an article? Thanks.

I know timers are not designed for that purpose but Input Capture channels have unique Input Filter property which I think could be used to debounce a button. It just needs to be configured a way so interrupt is triggered on external signal rising (or falling) edge.I cannot figure out how to configure it in CubeMX. It would also be good to know which channel triggered the interrupt - in case more than one channel is used. Please advise.

hello everyone.I created a project for the STM32H747I-DISCO chip, the goal was to run an image classification model on it.I used a model from model zoo. and did quantization on it following the instructions there. The part where I am stuck is when I generated the code through CubeMX then opened the project in CubeIDE and build the project (for CM7 core) but how do you flash the chip? I tried running the project then disconnected the chip and plugged it again, but nothing happened (and nothing on the screen) .

Hello! I recently used stm model zoo and deployed an image classification model on a chip. The flashing part is made automatically if the chip is connected, but I was wondering how to do it manually (using another software)?I get these folders after processing the deployment code but I do not really understand which files to use. If someone familiar with Model zoo can help me figure this out! Thanks in advance!

Hello,I'm currently working on a custom board with a display so I can't  use TouchGFX to generate my project...So far I've created a project through CubeMX(6.12.0) that can use TouchGFX(4.24.0), opened it in CubeIDE(1.16.0) and tried to build it but some errors occured (undefined reference of some files of TouchGFX like the HAL.hpp).I then opened my project in TouchGFX and generate code without modifying anything. I refresh and tried to build again my project in CubeIDE but this time I have a bunch of errors (215) that start with an "undefined reference to vtable" error :../Middlewares/ST/touchgfx/framework/include/touchgfx/ConstFont.hpp:35: undefined reference to `vtable for touchgfx::ConstFont'Then it's followed by some undefined reference errors :../TouchGFX/generated/fonts/src/GeneratedFont.cpp:14: undefined reference to `touchgfx::ConstFont::ConstFont(touchgfx::GlyphNode const*, unsigned short, unsigned short, unsigned short, unsigned char, unsigned char, unsigned char, unsig

I have a project where I'm using a Nucloe G474RE to produce a sine wave, all is working great; I have an array of 2500 values which produce a SINE wave starting at 0 degrees; I would like to add 2 further Sine waves starting 120 and 240 degrees later. To do this, I could create 2 additional arrays with the values shifted to reflect the 120-degree and 240 degrees shift, but I was wondering whether I could use one array and produce the remaining 2 arrays by preloading the index the timer produces for phase 2 and 3 , indexing, reading and sending the value to the 2nd and 3rd DAC output. Is this achievableThanks for any guidanceNickI think I know how this could work, but I have to set the registers manually rather than using the HAL, The HAL seems to hide the details on how to set the source address, DMA1_Channel1->CPAR = (unint32_t(&dataArray[index_to_start_from); //DMA in circular mode. Can I override this in the Cubemx generated project, or do I need to code without using CubeMX Th

Hello,I want to create a updating list for my project that adds new text to an area on the screen(preferably scrollable as there can be many texts). I have read around a lot but I cant seem to figure out how to add new text areas with wildcards to a container. I also want to be able to change the different texts and remove them during runtime. What is the best way to solve this problem? Please see attached image for a very rudimentary chart off how I want the UI to look.Regards,Björn

I am experiencing issues with the VBAT pin on the STM32H563ZIT6 microcontroller. Specifically, the VBAT pin is not responding properly. I am using a CR2032 CMOS battery for RTC backup, but it is not maintaining the date and time as expected. When the power supply is off, the RTC does not hold and run correctly, but it resumes running once the power supply is restored.I have attached the circuit diagram for your reference. Could you please provide a clear explanation of the potential issues and offer guidance on how to resolve them? Expert advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. VBAT & CMOS :

Hi all,  Would it be possible to have an 8x8 array of capacitive pressure sensors connected to the Qvar pins by an analogue multiplexer.I would like the qvar to effectively scan across the sensing array.

I want to use X CUBE AI VERSION 7.3.0. I have installed the package with correct version but when I try to use it pops a saying "Please select local zip file for X-Cube-AI stm32ai utilities". I cannot find the zip file anywhere where should be located. I have also tried version 9.0.0 and no tab opens up in that version. But I need to use 7.3.0. I am attaching a screenshot as well.

I work with STM32CubeIDE 1.9.0, STM32CubeMX 6.5.0, and STM32Cube FW_U5 V1.1.0, on a NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q.I created a new project for this specific board, and left everything by default.I need to use the ADC1, wich is enabled by default.I start with this call:HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1);And it never succeed. Digging deeper, there seem to be a timeout on the ADC1 activation. The register bit ADC_CR_ADEN is set but the corresponding flag ADC_FLAG_RDY never rise. For information, the ADC voltage regulator was successfuly enabled during system initialization (ADVREGEN set to 1, wait for a time, then check that the corresponding flag is risen). Before rising ADC_CR_ADEN, all bits of the register ADC CR is are low (except ADVREGEN = 1). According to the RM for STM32U575, this is the only condition before enabling the ADC.Did I miss something in the reference manual, or in the code? Is there something wrong with my STM32U575 chip?

That's the question. See https://github.com/Lora-net/SWL2001 for the upstream code; apparently development of the Semtech LoRaWAN stack has stopped in favor of this more feature-rich LoRaWAN stack.

Hi, it seems there is a typo in AN5755 at page 8 ch.4.2 it says: "Moreover, Qvar data can be stored in FIFO (by setting the QVAR_BATCH_EN bit to 1 in the COUNTER_BDR_REG1 (0Bh) register)". This statement doesn't apply to LSM6DSV16X, because it is not possible to redirect QVAR data out to FIFO. It applies only to LSM6DSV16BX at ch4.3.regards

Hello, I am using the dma to receive data into the uart using the functions: HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_DMA(&huart2, UART_p.UART_Data, UART_DATA_LENGTH)); with UART_DATA_LENGTH = 200. void HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart, uint16_t Size); DMA is configured in normal mode.Everything works fine with frames < 100 characters but if I receive a frame > 100 characters thenthe Size variable is equal to 100 while I have 130 characters. This then poses a problem for me when processing this frame in JSON.Strange thing UART_Data is cut in two when I view it in debug mode. Thanks for your help.
