I was using B-L072Z-LRWAN1 in a project and found out that I needed a very higher transmission rate than LoRa. I am asking if you can suggest me a board that is capable of data transfer rate of 2 Mbps with a duty cycle of 0.2ms. The data size is 30 Bytes and the distance between transmitter and receiver is around 10 meters. Can anyone suggest a suitable board?

With STM32CubeIDE on Windows 11 PC, how to setup a local (not storing on Github) version control system? How Version Control System works?  How often it freeze and save files/state of a project?  Does it restore to (a) hit 'commit' key  (b) nth compile in past (c) at any time in past? Many thanks

Hello All, I'm currently working with the STM32 H747-DISCO board, but I'm encountering some difficulties in interfacing the B-CAMS-OMV Camera Module. The LCD is functioning correctly, but the camera is not working (even though the 3 LEDs are lit). I'm running the DCMI_SnapshotMode project from STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.11.2 (which I downloaded from the STM32CubeIDE 1.15.1 framework). After performing a clean, build all, and run, there are no errors, but I'm getting the following warning: "C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.15.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.12.3.rel1.win32_1.0.100.202403111256/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/12.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: warning: DCMI_SnapshotMode_CM7.elf has a LOAD segment with RWX permissions" Here's a link to my shared screen: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/30135286?key=2ba1dbe8ce3ec2c1a9cdb4eaac6cd571 Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

I am running into an issue with the STM32G0B0 MCU: Writing to PD1 seems to result in the opposite value being somehow applied to PD0, even though PD0 is set to input.Effectively, I created a new project in STM32CubeIDE, configured PD0 & PD2 as GPIO_Input (with pullup enabled) and PD1 as GPIO_Output.Next, I added the following code to the main function:  /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ for (int i = 0; i < 100000; ++i) { } GPIOD->BSRR = GPIO_PIN_1; for (int i = 0; i < 100000; ++i) { } GPIOD->BRR = GPIO_PIN_1; /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ } /* USER CODE END 3 */ Running this code on the MCU (the board is effectively empty: There are some bypass caps next to the power pins & two pullup on a couple of other, unrelated pins) results in the following output on the two pins:PD2 is DIO5, PD1 is DIO6, PD0 is DIO7.  I have reproduced this behavior on 4 different boards by now. What is going on

Hiin different posts in forum I read ST's USB library is not thread safe. There are no examples with USB CDC and FreeRTOS.Is that true?Thx

I am using STM32CubeMonitor with the STM32H503CBT6, but I can't observe my variables. Previously, I used the STM32F1, and it still worked.

Hello everyone,I hope you're all doing well.I'm currently working on a project with the STM32F103RET6, and I've encountered an issue when writing data to a page of Flash memory. I'm using the FLASH_ProgramHalfWord function to write half-word data. While this function works correctly about 90% of the time, occasionally it does not return FLASH_COMPLETE.To resolve the problem, I find that I need to erase the entire page. If I don't perform the page erase, the issue persists. The device operates on battery power and initializes from scratch each time it is used.Has anyone experienced a similar problem or have suggestions on how to address this issue? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

ST25R3916B offers two types of AAT algorithms, target amplitude and target phase. I understand that the target amplitude algorithm is used to achieve certain power level or detectable range. However, I don't understand the use cases for the target phase algorithm. What is the benefit of having a certain phase difference between the RFO and RFI? What parameter can be affected by the phase shift between the RFO and RFI. Thanks in advance.

Hi,where can I find the data types supported by CubeIDE compiler, the documentation also specifying their size/ranges?Thank you

Hello everyone,I use GPIO example project (from repository of ST) and open it by STM32 cube IDE. then when I built it give error: make all make: *** No rule to make target ...How to fix this error?Thank you! Sorry cause my English not good.

Hi, I'm having some problems with the STM32F429 DAC testing. I have two boards of the same type. On board 1, the Digital Storage Oscilloscope shows that the sine wave voltage ranges from 2.08V to 2.94V. However, on board 2, with the same program and settings, the output voltage ranges from 0V to 3V (which is the correct output I need). Please help me figure out why there is a difference between the two boards. The output on the left is correct, and I'm only using the PA4 pin for the sine wave test without any additional output circuit. Thanks everyone.

Hello guys,Can anyone help or provide me the boot sequence diagram of STM32H755xI which has dual-core (M7 and M4)?Thanks a lot !!!

I want to develop my custom bluetooth stack in the stm32wb55 using the rust programming language. Does the st platform allows you to do so? I'm new to the wb wireless microcontroller series and I don't have clear if st allows you to use your own stack and if the stack is included as a binary or it is open source

Hi, I have been reading the "STM32L031x4 STM32L031x6" datasheet (attached) and referring to the SMARTAG1 schematic (also attached). Why does the MCU require 1 x 100 nF and 3 x 1 uF capacitors? According to the power supply scheme, shouldn't there be 3 x 100 nF since there are 3 x VDD?

Such as the title，why is the function address in the vector table offset by 1 byte from the actual function address? In the vector table:Actually:andThis makes me wonder.

Hi, a noob post from a noob developer. I am trying to understand how STM32Cube ide works. I guess by default UART2 has set as UART_TX - PA2, UART_RX - PA3. I have reconfigured PA1 and PA2 as GPIO_OutPut and set UART_TX - PA14 and UART_RX - PA15. There is a yellow warning sign beside UART2 that says, 'UART2 Partly disa bled conflict with PA mapped with GPIO_Output'Below is the new configuration: And below is the old configuration: In that case, can I continue to use the new configuration? Also planning to reconfigure the below pins: Will this be any problem? Do I have to configure RCC_OSC32_IN, RCC_OS32_OUT, RCC_OSC_IN, and RCC_OSCOUT? What do these use for?Thank you in advance.

Hi, I'm finding this strange behaviour whereby I'm unable to turn on the internal pull up for GPIO Port C, on pins 14, 15, and 6.When I look into the gpio.c generated by CubeMX, I see that the C code is correct. GPIO_NOPULL has value of 0. Yet the disassembly shows that a literal 2 (for pull-down) is being written instead. I'm actually trying to set it to pull up, but no matter what value I use, it just keeps writing 2 instead. It's killing me as I've also tried to write to the PUPDR directly, but the value is not getting changed. please help!

Hello,I am trying write a LoRa library to STM32F446VET7 in my application. In the LoRa E220-400T30S documentation, it tells me to set the UART settings for configuration mode to 9600 and 8N1 and to give 1 to M0 - M1 pins. After doing that I am trying an exampe in below of the documentI am sending "C10004" and I have an interrupt for receive function for RX. But I got nothing in buffer...I'm using UART for the first time, so I can't even guess what I'm doing wrong. I would be very grateful if you can help me.

Hi guys, I'm fairly a newbie to stm32 so please forgive me if I make some mistakes, I'm trying to configure a driver code for a SPI FT812 NHD display on STM32G474VETx chipset, so far I've been able find a driver code and ported it over onto STM32, however the driver code configured its SPI manually so I figured I'd follow the way it does that as well but I'm worried that I might did it wrong since the program can't seem to get the correct ID bit from the LCD register and I suspect the way I configured SPI pins might be the problem.I have 2 gpio_init functions, MX_GPIO_Init is for other peripherals and EVE_init_spi is for the display, which I'm having trouble with, the 3 SPI1 pins are SCK -PA5 , MOSI/D1 -PA6 and MISO/D0 -PB5, this is one of the thing that I changed from the original driver code because it appears SPI1 pins on other chipsets are in the order of PA5,PA6,PA7, and they are all on GPIOA whereas mine is separate into GPIOA and GPIOB? bellow is my attached init funct

I'm using a Nucleo -64 stm32f030r8 board.I've looked at various "blinky" tutorials and they all seem to just pick a a pin out of the air as the LED pin and then flash it through HAL_Toggle_Pin. I have the datasheet for the device but I seem to be blind, stupid and/or a combination of the two.Can some kind soul step me through the "process" you use to determine which pin ld2 (the green led) is on? I created an stm32 project from the IDE wizard selecting the correct board but no pin is assigned as default as the LED. I can compile, upload and debug etc, it's just me not being able to figure out the LED assignment. Something very obvious I'm sure! (as a side note, the IDE runs really poorly on my Debian testing desktop and frequently crashes but I can cope with that for now).

Using a stm32f303RE Nucleo board which has 4 (independent ?) ADC blocks.I'm trying to read a single channel from each of the 4 ADC under DMA simultaneously triggered from the same timer update event but I'm only getting about 30-40% of the data I'm asking for. Note that using 4 channels of a single ADC would result in skew as the reads would be sequential so I'd loose timing accuracyA single channel works fine (ADC1/Chan 1) and using HAL_ADC_Start_DMA() with a length of 500, SamplingTime of ADC_SAMPLETIME_2CYCLES_5 triggered from TIM2 at 800KHz I get what I'd expect.Running ADC2/Chan 5 at the same time (same speed & parameters) results in both blocks only receiving about 200 words of good data followed by 300 words of garbage (values close to 0). Adding ADC3 & ADC4 gets progressively less valid data. What comes to mind are the following questions:Can I trigger multiple ADC/DMA transactions from the same timer update event (the DMA seems to run OK)Is there sufficient memory bandw

I am porting the rfal and ndef for an ST25R3918 to zephyr.  I have the rfal 3.0 working and i have ndef v1.0.4 i am getting errors for the ndef layer and was wondering if this is the correct ndef.  I can read the UUID with RFAL so i know i can communicate with the tag.  Below is the error.  I do still have some timing errors to work out with the rtos and ISR servicing can be an issue. appNFC: NDEF NOT DETECTED (ndefPollerNdefDetect returns 5) Thanks,Ed

I have the STM32G431 set up to sample ADC2, send the data to the FMAC and then out to DAC1.  It works fine, I have tested all kinds of filters with it.  However, none of the HAL functions that use SysTick work after I start the FMAC.  I'm using the small NUCLEO board.  With the attached code, only "St" gets transmitted in the HAL_UART_Transmit call and the LD2 LED only blink once. However, if I just comment out the HAL_FMAC_FilterStart line, the LD2 LED blinks and the full "Starting..." message gets transmitted.  The FMAC obviously stops working after that line is commented out.I have tried re-creating the project several times and I get the same result. I've tried changing the priorities of the System tick timer and DMA interrupts without any success.  I'm not seeing anything in the HAL_FMAC_FilterStart function that should affect SysTick.    /* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes -------------------------
