If anyone is familiar with Code Composer IDE, CCS allows me to add files to a project as links. If this is not possible, perhaps you might have suggestions of how to share common code files between projects without replicating the common code.

Hello, I have a few questions on STM32N6 capabilities for USB after reading AN4879, AN5967 and RM0486 documents: 1. AN4879 states that to be compliant with the USB 2.0 FS electrical spec, the DP+ pin must be pulled high. Does this also hold true for when working with the integrated HS PHY for 480Mbps speeds? 2. Do OTGx_TX_RTUNE pins also need to be connected via 200 ohm resistor to VSS for Hi-Speed USB device, or is that only for USB host mode? AN5967 states that for Hi-Speed USB host in section 13.3.1, but I'm not clear about USB device. 3. AN4879 also states that for USB 2.0 FS, the clock requires to be running at 48 MHz. However, in the RM0486 document, section 14.1 (RCC main features), it says that when the USBHSPHY is used the HSE frequency must be either 19.2, 20 or 24 MHz. Is this only a requirement for USB FS that the clock needs to be at 48 MHz, and for USB HS it has to be running at 24 MHz max? 4. AN5967 states that among supported USB options fo

Hi,I access the system bootloader by setting the bits nBOOT0/nSWBOOT0 = 0 and nBOOT1 = 1 in my code. I manage to connect via UART and flash my new firmware but then my MCU does not reboot because it remains in the system bootloader. How can I do this without using the JTAG port to change the values of nBOOT0/nSWBOOT0/nBOOT1 so that my MCU once flashed leaves the system bootloader and reboots into my code? Thanks for your help.

Is the Filter & Antenna Matching Network for STM32WBA5 also apply to STM32WBA6?Also application note AN5948 (How to develop RF hardware using STM32WBA5xxx MCUs) apply to STM32WBA6?

Hi, I'm currently using the STMC Board Designer but seem to be unable to create a "Bridge" board. I was hoping to use this to create a temp pinout into connecting 2 IHM08-M1 power boards to a Nucleo-H755ZI-Q evaluation board. The documentation on the BRIDGE section isn't clear as well.  I tried adding a new board but am unable to select Bridge here:  Then I tried creating a .json for a Bridge board but I'm unable to import it because I'm unable to select the bridge section. Import failed due to "type board not match" which makes me assume that he's only able to import Control board since that tab is selected. Could you guys help me out into creating a Bridge board?

I use a VL53L3 with the STSW-IMG033 Ultra Low Power API. I use the settings in the settings mentioned in AN5769 "Using the VL53L3CX under ultralow-power mode" for maximum detection under daylight: Full ROIMacro period 200Signal limit 1500Sigma limit 60Valid distance 400mmUsing interrupt mode: generate only an interrupt when these criteria are met I need reliable detection of a human standing in front of the sensor at max 400mm. Without any cover, the sensor functions just right. WIth a cover glass (I used the cover glass shipped with the VL53L3 Nucleo addon) I get strange results. The reason I used this cover glass for this test is that it is shipped by ST to use with their reference design. Upto about 200 mm the measurement is quite reliable. When the object distance is increased, the measured distance starts to decrease. Becasue of this I get "valid measurement" interrupts upto 1200mm. With another cover, the measurement can be 400mm at a distance of about 200mm so

Hello. I am working on a project that uses a STM32L496VET6 microcontroller and that can work as an USB device. The board has the following usb circuit schematic:The USB signals are connected directly to the MCU (D+ to PA12, D- to PA11, ID to PA10 and VBUS to PA9). The board is self-powered, so the USB power is not used. The VBUS goes through a voltage divider to reduce the voltage from 5V to approximately 3.14V. I configured the peripheral to work only as a device and the interruptions are also enabled. The middleware is configured to use the USB as a COM port. IssueWhen I plug the USB cable in the board, nothing happens, no interruption raises. Using a logic analyzer, I also saw that on idle, D+ is low and D- is high. When I plug the cable, D- goes low, being the unique change, nothing more happens. When I unplug, a interruption is raised and the disconnect callback function is called.Attempts to fixClock configuration: I tried different clock configurations to have 48MHz in

Hello,I'm trying to get BLE working on my custom STM32WB55CGU6 board. I was following this tutorial since it matches well with my setup: STM32 Bluetooth Firmware Tutorial (Bring-Up) - Phil's Lab #129However I am not able to see my board using nRF Connect app. Code does not seem to end in any error and keeps looping this part: while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ MX_APPE_Process(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ }I have flashed the FUS and BLE_Stack_full_fw using STM32CubeProgrammer:I'm new with STM32CubeIDE tool and would appreciate any help in this matter :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:Here is my full program with schematic of the board: https://github.com/nikorainto/STM32WB55CGU6_BLE_TEST

Hello All, I am new TouchGFX and working on it recently, I am trying to implement Long Press (if user touches button continuously) to increment value on Text Area, continuously until user releases flex button press.Right now, the configuration for flex button to trigger is for Click, I can see option for Touch as well but it's not working as intended.  I can see the value update every Click but need to have value to increase as long as User Touch is Pressed.Would appreciate, any guidance or some references to try out to do it. Br,Shiv

Hi everybody, I'm designing a TP-PFC and I'm going to use MasterGaN1L for the first time to reduce the bill of materials. Does anybody have any information about this chip's simulation model?

Hello! A simple question. If I run DAC, using HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeStart_DMA(..., buffer, ...), when D-cache is disabled, I succeed to send what I filled in the buffer. If I do the same with enabled D-cache, I don't succeed. SCB_InvalidateDCache_by_Addr() function, which is useful in ADC callbacks, seems to be not helpful for DAC. How to fix that?

Hello ,I have used the below to go into stop mode:  HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode( PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI ); /* CPU will be halted here until a wakeup event occurs */ in  the above function, what is the difference PWR_SLEEPENTRY_WFI  & PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI as parameter?

I need to add the BSP libraries for the STM32H735G-DK board to enable display functionality. I have downloaded the STM32CubeH7 package and navigated to the Driver folder, where I selected my board and found the necessary BSP libraries. However, when I open STM32CubeIDE, go to Project Properties → C/C++ General, and attempt to add the BSP folder path, the IDE does not recognize the libraries. Instead, I only see the _htmresc file within the folder. Normally, when I open the directory manually, the libraries are present, but they do not appear within the IDE.

Hello So, I want to generate a test application, but I cannot load these on my board. Does that problem is normally because we never can upload a test application or what is the Problem here, I also added some parts to the Test application, but I can still not load up. I think I am a little bit stuck right now. Maybe one can help me. Thanks! ( I am useing the TouchGFX Designer 4.24.0)

Hi Community,I have a project on STM32H755 Nucleo using a simple small LCD. Now I want to add a Riverdi display, RVT50AQFFWC00, which uses the FT813 EVE.I'm not very clear how best to start. From what I've found it seems that there's no driver for this display in the BSP for H755 and the best-looking driver that I've come across is Rudolph Riedel's (https://github.com/RudolphRiedel/FT800-FT813).Should I start by adding TouchGFX to my project via Middleware config in CubeIDE, drop Rudoph's driver into the project, then go to TouchGFX?  But then how to proceed, since I only see options in TouchGFX to use some pre-defined configurations that include H755 and similar displays, but there isn't one matching my exact configuration? If I use the simulator that's OK, but then how do I run on my target?Maybe I should instead start in TouchGFX and perhaps that allows me to pull the required driver in to my project and update my project with it?These probably seem like silly questions but any

Hi Team,I would like to know which MCU has the highest UART interrupt priority. Thanks & Regards,Anbu

hello,In my program I have some screens and I switch between screens by programaticily. If a button pressed below code switches screenvoid Screen1_View::changeScreenToScreen2(){ static_cast<FrontendApplication*>(Application::getInstance())->gotoScreen_Screen2CoverTransitionSouth(); }This code works fine but I want to change cover time too. Is it possible to change screen transition time ? Is it fixed ?

I’m running MEMS Studio 1.4.2 on Win 10, 64 bit latest version. And trying three different Nucleo boards:Nucleo-C031C6Nucleo-64-STM32L476Nucleo-64-STM32F303MEMS Studio will not recognize any of these three Nucleo boards, with or without the MEMS inertial  and environmental expansion board plugged in - X-Nucleo-IKS01A3. I have also tried plugging a DIL24 adapter into the expansion board - no effect.Any suggestions on what I’m missing?

Hi, I'm creating Boot sw & App sw in one board. which means, 2 independent STM32 Proj. runs in same Flash / RAM. There is an issue when HAL_RCC_GetSysClockFreq() has been called. The first called sw, boot sw, doesn't make any trouble. but the second one, app sw which is jumped in by boot sw, make trouble when do [vmov s15, r3] assembly code. I've already checked Memory Map, Flash.ld, Vector ... etc. So obviously, there is no problem until [vmov s15, r3] will be done by app sw. the first call of [vmov s15, r3] is triggered by [main()] - [SystemClock_Config()] - [HAL_RCC_GetSysClockFreq()]fracn1 = (float_t)(uint32_t)(pllfracen * ((RCC->PLL1FRACR & RCC_PLL1FRACR_PLL1FRACN) >> \ RCC_PLL1FRACR_PLL1FRACN_Pos)); As result of [vmov s15, r3], MSP has been corrupted. Red box is the Stack Pointer, and Blue box is MSP. So blue box area should not be changed by [vmov s15, r3]. But as you can see, the Return Address has been corrupted after&nb

Hi, I want to download the demo code which was already in the STM32N6570-DK board when I bought it. But I can't find it anywhere. Kindly help me in this matter.

Hi everyoneI wanted to find the datasheet for this chip I found on my Seagate HDD, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Can anyone help?

Hello, I configured the STM32CubeIDE project and codes for the Octo-SPI PSRAM according to the AN5050.  However, the compilation was failed with below messages. The HAL_RCCEx_OCTOSPIDelayConfig is not available in STM32CubeU5 HAL driver. How can I solve this problem? To avoid the compilation error, the DelayBlock_Calibration was removed temporarily.
