Hello,after being busy with some other stuff, we are finally back to face problems with secure bootloader integration.What we learned so far (our learnt points could be wrong and corrections would  be greatly appreciated):ST provides a very nice CubeMX-based ecosystem, which is, however, totally incompatible with ST's either SBSFU or TFM examples: there are different folder structures, different initializers, no clear integration between the three whatsaver.Debugging either TFM or SBSFU is complex and time-consuming task: every time you make even single statement changed in your code, you have to pass through complete process of: Recompiling all three (four in case of local loader) projects: customer non-secure, TFM secure, and BOOTloader itself, with signing etc.Upload all three to the FLASH by using relevant scripts and CubeProgrammer.Starting with bootloader and only then use some breakpoints in custom non-secure code. SW/HW resets, watchdogs etc. further complicate the pr

I cannot figure out which pins to connect to I2C on the STM32F070F6T6 chip.  AN2606 says to use PB6/PB7 which do not exist on this part.  The only pins that are mapped to I2C1 are PA9/PA10 or PF0/PF1 according the data sheet.  My first spin of a board uses PF0/PF1 and that does not appear to be working.

I am using TIM2 to create PWMs for LEDs. When I enter STOP mode I expect the PWM to stop. Yet it does not. From the manual TIM do not have wakeup capability from stop mode. So they should not be requesting the HSI to operate.What could possibly cause the HSI to continue to operate in STOP mode. I am waking in 5s from RTC. during this whole time and continuously uninterrupted as far as I can tell the PWM keep going. Shouldn't they stop?HSIKERON is 0.

I have 2 STM32F407 Discovery boards sending data back and forth to each other using usart2. Usart3 on one is just a monitor so I can see the output on a USB comm port. I'm using DMA on the receive for both and the HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback for both just sends the data back for both boards. I have to have a transmit in one of the tasks before it will work. I have a counter that advances in each callback that spins the 4 LED's so I can see if it's working because it goes too fast to spit it out to the comm port. Is there any way to slow it down? I tried putting a vTaskDelay in one of the callbacks but I don't think you can do that. I'm using STM32CubeIDE and FreeRTOS.I have attached both freertos.c files from the Core/Src/ directory. The lights spin incredibly fast and then slow down and pause once in a while.

Hello, I would like to know if the STM32 WLxx is supported by X-CUBE-STL. Because at this sitehttps://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/ecosystems/functionalsafety.html#functionalsafety-resourcesin the table below at the line RPN "X-CUBE-STL" the WL is part of the list of Supported devices but not in the linked document of "X-CUBE-STL": https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-stl.htmlThank you for reading.

I'm trying to verify my connection to the STM32H745 built in bootloader over UART 1, using pins PA9 and PA10 using STM32CubeProgrammer.  First I erased flash by using full chip erase flash memory in STM32CubeProgrammer using JLink/Flasher.  I then disconnect the JLink and change STM32CubeProgrammer to connect via UART, and power cycle.  Is my assumption correct that an erased flash on the H745 will automatically jump to the bootloader at power up?The board is our own design, not a demo board, and is functioning as expected when our application code is loaded..  I have pin BOOT0 low.  I have a pull up on PB15.  I have flash erased.  STM32CubeProgrammer won't connect over UART.  When I have my application code in flash UART1 fully works, sending and receiving data so I can rule that out as a problem.  Anybody have suggestions what I might have wrong, or can confirm my assumption that a blank flash will jump to the bootloader on its own?

The STM32CubeMX code generator allows you to enable the internal HSE and use it as the system clock source. However, when attempting to run the code, the system always fails into the Error Handler.

I am currently developing a board using the STM32WB09TEF7TR microcontroller.Unfortunately, when the device is powered on, the microcontroller does not function properly.It only starts working after manually resetting the reset pin.To diagnose this issue, I am accessing the memory immediately after powering on the device in hot-plug mode to check its status.The register bit log data is attached.Could you help me understand the current state of this microcontroller?

Hi,I'm using the NUCLEO-H743ZI2 board and I'm trying to interface it with an external DAC MCP4922 via SPI.As explained in the documentation, the CS pin is very important because it is used to mark the end of a transmission for the DAC to put the received value on its output.The problem with this CS validation pin is that I can't use a SPI circular DMA with multiple values as I first imagined to do because in this case, the Hadrware NSS Output Signal configurable in the .ioc doesn't work as I would like (between each data).My actuel program is then working like this:I use a timer that I configure to my aimed sampling rate. I use his PeriodElapsedCallback to send a SPI frame to my DAC.Here are some snippets of what I've done: // My timer callback void HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { if (htim == &htim6) { pwmDAC(); } } // Function to alternate the sample sent to the DAC to output a PWM void pwmDAC() { uint16_t sample = pwm_level ? 0xFFFF : 0x0000;

Hello to all,I am working on a stm32h745i-disk project that uses keyboard and I would like to hide the characters in the password field.how can I do it? i.e. I don't understand when you press a key on the keyboard where do you type so that it is shown above the keyboard before you hit ok and it is passed to the GUI with “Unicode::strncpy(ContrasenaBuffer, keyboard.getBuffer(), CONTRASENA_SIZE);”The video guide I used was:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tkz9099a7a4testing and trying to understand the keyboard related files I could only hide them once you hit ok and they show up in the GUI using two buffers where one is filled with “*”. I would like to do something similar to the video (minute 5:38) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0--7qFmWZMQbut in my touchGFX code and later add a button to show the password if I want to but I guess I can do that later if I can solve this. I share my View.cpp and the keyboard thing.please ignore Login_inicioView::Validacion_usuario() as it is s

I'm currently experimenting with an XM125 radar board . As seen on page 15 of the module's datasheet, this board essentially contains an STM32L4 MCU with the necessary external components and the radar sensor. All pins of the MCU are exposed through the board. So, essentially, I'm connecting directly to the STM32L4.My ProblemI'm struggling with flashing something to the controller. I know this has been asked (and solved) a thousand times, but I simply cannot find the problem here.When attempting to flash a default project by the manufacturer using an ST-Link V2 (genuine, not clone), I get the following output in STM32CubeIDE 1.17.0:STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. Hello,I'm running a demo from STSW-ST25R-LIB which uses NFC-V. The Inventory poll returns RFAL_ERR_FRAMING as the SOF does not match. Also I have to push the tag really close to get this behaviour. The tag (M24LR64) should be fine as I can communicate with it via ST25 Android app.I assume that my HW and rfal_platform.h is set right as NFC-A tag is found successfuly after enabling it via RFAL_FEATURE_NFCA.HW I'm using is EFM32 development board with click shield and NFC 5 Click module by Mikroe. I have following questions:Is it possible that the board layout is problematic for NFC-V, but NFC-A is fine?Is it possible that the chip itself could be faulty and behave like this?I found macro RFAL_USE_COHE. Could this help? I have not found any information about this.Is there anything else that could cause this problem? Thank you very much for help or suggestions!

I have seen that STM32_Programmer_CLI has a "getAuthID" but it seems this reads something else than the UID available to software. I know I can do  STM32_Programmer_CLI --connect port=swd index=0 -halt --optionbytes displ --blankcheck -r32 0x0BFA0700 12 but it is likely to work only on STM32U5 and I guess it make sense to have a generic way to read that.Is there a better way to read that UID from ST-Link ?

Hi,In the RFAL implementation I found issue where the timer ID is compared with system time.In the /source/rfal_nfc.c file the following snippet looks suspected (lines from 2288 to 2292): if( ((platformGetSysTick() + RFAL_NFC_T_FIELD_OFF) > gNfcDev.discTmr) || (aux) ) /* In case Total Duration has expired or expring in less than tFIELD_OFF */ { platformTimerDestroy( gNfcDev.discTmr ); gNfcDev.discTmr = (uint32_t)platformTimerCreate( RFAL_NFC_T_FIELD_OFF ); /* Ensure that Operating Field is in Off condition at least tFIELD_OFF */ }  The `discTmr` can contains a timer ID returned by the `platformTimerCreate()` function. When the timer ID value is less than sum of the `platformGetSysTick() + RFAL_NFC_T_FIELD_OFF` it can cause false result on the first condition: ((platformGetSysTick() + RFAL_NFC_T_FIELD_OFF) > gNfcDev.discTmr)

(found using STM32H723 NUCLEO board) Hi,When trying to implement a USG OTG application, where the USB port is required to switch backwards and forwards many times between device and host mode, there appears to be an error in the USBH_DeInit function in usbh_core.c: The function does not call USBH_LL_DeInit and as a result a subsequent re-initialisation of the host stack fails because the host state is not set back to RESET and the peripheral clock does not then get re-started.Compare this with the equivalent function in the device stack (USBD_DeInit in usbd_core.c). This correctly calls the equivalent function USBD_LL_DeInit at the end of the function and as a result the device stack can be de-initialised and re-initialised many times.The fix is simply to add the call to USBH_LL_DeInit at the end of USBH_DeInit and the host stack can then be de-initialised and re-initialised many times without issue.Thanks,Steve

I am trying to pause or stop a dynamic graph when data has scrolled to the right hand side once.  I will then use a second and third etc., dynamic graph on top to display further 'screen shots' of data, to create a stack of overlays.Is it possible to stop the graph scrolling after a given time, or number of data samples?ThanksIan

Does st has any support for user accounts problems? I have not find anything in the web page. There is no email or any kind of messaging service. I have created a ticket a week ago, but no response there either. It looks like the company went out of business :-/. Was anyone able to get a support from ST and how?

hello, i want to switch 5 images within the same window as following picture illustration; could you have any sample to me for reference ?

I have designed a board similar to B-G431B ESC1 kit and using the FOC code from the motor control work bench. But at present i have an issue where the Gate to Source Voltage is equal to Bus Voltage (VDC) instead of the 12V. What could be the problem? The Mosfet driver IC i am using is 2ED2182S06FXUMA1.
