USART1_TX Uses DMA1_Channel4

USART2_TX Uses DMA1_Channel7 USART3_TX Uses DMA1_Channel1 The RX for each is also different, look at the RM0008 Technical Reference Manual for a diagram and list. USART1_RX Uses DMA1_Channel5 USART2_RX Uses DMA1_Channel6 USART3_RX Uses DMA1_Channel3

so if I want a DMA channel for USART2_TX and TIM2_CH2 (they both on Channel 7)

I'll have to choose one of them ??
