Sidekick is very interesting.Could you make it easier to access, for example by providing a desktop shortcut/icon, or by making it directly accessible from your website's home page, from STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeIDE, or even from other IDEs?

In the previous forum I could insert an image and if it was too large or small, I could resize it. Now when you click on the image, the resize handles no longer show on the sides or corners of image. Instead, it shows “Insert image caption” below the image.  

For questions relating to low-power modes. I wanted just now for a recent post related to low-power modes, and the Tag search didn’t find anything.But I’ve just seen that we do have PWR and POWER - so maybe this is just another case of improving the search? 

User can edit his post until several houses. I suggest to allow edit post forever. And any other user should have ability to see post history. This is how stackoverflow works. And people really improve their posts.Also in stackoverflow there is ability to edit posts of others. And random people really improve and update posts. It works like wikipedia. Let’s try the same system here?

In general, I hate when things do this: Just tell me the actual date! But, if you are going to do it, make it accurate:  To meaningfully reflect the actual date, that should say two years ago!If it’s going to talk in years, then the value needs to be to the nearest year. Or just show both ?

Right now replies are shown reddit-style, not classic forum style. An newer reply can show up much higher in a topic than an older reply. I don’t think it makes sense in a forum like this as you won’t have many nested discussions (if it’s off topic a new topic will/should be created). I only click reply on a reply so I can quote it and respond to it. Not to create a deeper nesting.I’d like an option to disable it.I saw it when I clicked a notification in this topic and it didn’t bring me to the post. TouchGFX uses so much C++ code, but there is no C++ language option when adding a code block// like so

For example, a table like this:This has been posted using the code editor, so it has inappropriate C syntax highlighting. On the old forum, there was a ‘Preformatted’ option in the paragraph formats menu: The ‘Code’ option in the new forum is not equivalent:It’s a character format - not a paragraph format.It doesn’t work for blocks of text (such as the table example above) - it’s for highlighting individual keywords within a paragraph.  I made a post about this for the old forum in the How to write your question to maximize your chances to find a solution article (note that the new forum has mangled the examples in that post).We need an equivalent for the new forumPerhaps a ‘Plain Text’ option in the code editor?

In the editor pane’s menu row, the icon to enter Code is hidden under “...”. As it’s one of the most used things here, please change it with something else, e.g. the smileys (which are entirely unneeded in a technical forum), or the 3 line alighment icons (which are extremely rarely used in a technical forum), to be always directly present in the editor.JW

I am sad that I can’t use markdown in community.st.com To be honest, I am interesting in the only one feature: codeblock. I think that ``` or ```bash is very convenient and became industry standard. Even Telegram messenger supports it. Do you plan to add markdown codeblock style? It is weird to click on the … and click to “Code” item in menu… Are we on technical forum? Why we have quick access to Text color but not to codeblock? I feel like new community.st.com comes from outsource designer which really don’t understand content of the forum.

Periodic password expiry is now widely recognised as counterproductive; eg, from the UK National Cyber Security Centre:The problems with forcing regular password expiry Please stop this: Especially as it does allow you to just “reset” your password to exactly the same as it was before!

Add webp format support for avatars and others. It helps to save disk usage and make user experience with this forum more convenient. For now I can’t use webp because “Sorry, we couldn't upload your file because we don't support that file type. Supported file types: .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif”

I suggest to allow like and dislike votes. Dislike is important to indicate that the post contains wrong/weird information or working but not good technical decision. This is how best practices work.

The new forum seems to be wrapping lines within source code blocks; eg lines 44 & 45 here: This really messes with the layout - surely, it’s one of the things which a code block specifically should not do ?
