Question

Whither Dark Mode?

It would be nice if the new forum provided Dark Mode.  The new one somehow even prevents Dark Reader (under Safari) from working correctly.  Dark Reader worked fine on the old forum platform, so imagine my surprise…   😳

Hi @David Littell ,

Do you have the same experience on different browsers as well or it’s only Safari?

Meanwhile, I am checking what’s the expected behavior.

Thanks,
Lina

The Dark Reader extension/plugin/whatever I’m using with Safari is a paid-for app so I don’t have it for any other browsers.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi @David Littell ,

I checked and I got confirmation that this is expected behavior.

I have raised and enhancement request and it’s under review with our vendor.

At this point, I cannot give you a timeline for the implementation.

Feedback from other users is also welcome to help assess the feature's importance.

Kind regards,
Lina

I’d like to again request that dark mode be supported on ST forums.  These are the only forums I frequent that neither provide a native dark mode nor properly allows the Dark Reader extension to work.

I have Dark Reader  , extension, installed.

And Chrome , actual , in “dark mode” setting.

So no need, to wait for ST-forum “upgrade” . :)
