MKBOXPRO DFU Mode USB STM32CubeProgrammer

I am trying to do the firmware upgrade via USB using STM32CubeProgrammer and putting the MKBOXPRO in DFU mode, but the program doesn't detect any DFU port and gives the error : "Establishing connection with device failed"

If anyone can help with this i appreciate.

What Host system?

Does the system detect the unit?

eg, in Windows, does it appear in Device Manager?

It doesn't apear on the device manager.

Then, clearly, nothing on the system is going to be able to see it.

It's a basic connectivity issue - start with checking cables, etc.

The only thing that appears on my device manager is this: 

Nothing that says STlink, but i am trying to do the firmware upgrade via USB using STM32CubeProgrammer and putting the MKBOXPRO in DFU mode, not using the STLINK V3 SET debbuger and programmmer.

The usb-C cable is the one from my new phone, that is a data cable too.

And i already tried all the usb ports.

Do you have any other reccomendations?

Shoud i buy the the STLINK V3 SET, debbuger and programmmer, to do the firmware update easier?
